Eddy E this battle royale is based off of the titan fall game realm, almost like fortnite save the world being titan fall and then adding apex legends as fortnite adding battle royale, except it’s a whole new game you have to download. So yeah, it does have a story and I think it’s pretty cool how that did that.
The skydive emotes are character based because every character has their own personality and the emotes reflect that. And the game does have a story, it's just not told in the traditional way
I agree.. people like Hollow come to this game with a mindset of "let's compare almost every aspect to fortnite" and judging the game without even knowing the basics of character lore.. I'm not hating on Hollow.. I actually watch most of his content and like it..
Okay, so in my opinion, this video just kinda highlights the difference between apex and fortnite. As a regular player of fortnite, you're probably used to looking forward to a ton of new skins and all those dances and whatever the game adds. Fortnite adds a whole lot of it, but the gameplay in fortnite is what it is. Most people like fortnite for how it looks, buy most people like apex for how it plays. Apex legends is more focused on how people play the game. It's so sad that you've only reviewed the cosmetics but haven't really taken time on the gameplay. It feels so good, the map changes are nice and it's so fresh. The new weapon, the new meta changes and all that feels awesome because even though players love the gameplay, they needed something fresh to do because doing the same things can become tedious. You haven't even checked the new ranked mode. Skill based and very satisfying. A noob plays against noobs,while Shroud and the apex predators meet their match so that everyone can get a challenge. I'm sure you haven't noticed that the new battle pass awards players with enough crafting materials to craft a legendary of their choosing when they max is out. And the apex coins it rewards in total are exactly a 1000. Which means I don't have to pay money to buy the next batter pass when I complete this one. I'll already have enough coins from the previous one to get the next. And when I'm done with this battle pass before the season is over, I've got the ranked system to grind and will still be playing to see how good I am. There will be another new legend this coming season, a map event and some LTMs too. It's understandable on your end because you're used to fortnite bringing out all the John Wick and Endgame skins, but apex legend characters are individual and not just skins. Each has a story behind them, their characters are different everything from their voice lines, skill set and legendary skins, to their jumping emotes mean something and are not just for looks. It's a game and it's a story of stories,that's why it's so enjoyable. It's made by a relatively small company and, above all, it's free to play. People are always trying to evaluate it in comparison to fortnite, and it's sad because people calling it a fortnite killer puts it under so much unnecessary criticism. The way the battlepass looks is not even half of the story here, and that's why people looking to buy it out will just be robbing themselves of the fun. It's about playing it, so many different ways to play. New daily and weekly challenges are there now and it gives people more of an incentive to play. So I'm not going to be the one to stand and say which game is better. I believe that people should like what they like not because everyone likes it, but because they enjoy it. If one likes a game only because its the most popular or because of hype, then one has a problem. Its okay to like and enjoy fortnite, it's okay to like and enjoy apex. But one shouldn't like either of them because theyve been told that they should like one or the other. We play games because we enjoy them, not because we should enjoy them. On that note, criticise the game individually not based on another game. I love your channel and I'm subscribed, but you havent done the review of this battle pass justice. You just looked at the top. Not cool. You haven't played it in months probably, being a level thirty something 😂😂.. but I think as TH-camr you should probably be giving games a fair scope and not stomping on them. Maybe you don't mean to, but you not giving it a properly detailed review stomped on it. And now people don't think it's worth it just by looking. Serious damage control here. How does anyone not realize that having a universal emote for all characters are better than one? Regardless of personality of a character I would like to be able to see an emote that I paid for on all characters if I choose rather than it be locked to a specific character that I may not even be able to play.

I feel like, universal skydiving emotes would limit the devs creativity. So they decided to make them legend specific, for example, no one can do octanes emote, because he’s the only one that can run really fast.
Mr Savage it easily is because it doesn’t cater to noobs and doesn’t force you to play one specific way. Fortnite just doesn’t know how to make the game right, and leads to it’s creative mode being more interesting than the original game modes.

I actually liked the battle pass alot this season because there are new emotes and loading screens for all the characters so no matter what character you main you will want to get something based on their personality.. I, for exaple, main Octane and I almost never play other characters and I still want that skin, that emote, that music pack and those stat trackers for Octane.. now I'm not saying all the legends have a new skin this season, but now the battle pass gives you crafting materials which you can use to get a skin that you want for your main.. but this is just my look on it..

It's better than you think. It has 2 legendary skins, a bunch of banner frames, music, skydive emotes, and exclusive trackers which you say are pointless but I think are actually decent. You say that you're not trying to be negative but that is exactly how you are coming across. I definitely feel that this battle pass is better than the last one but season one's was good too.
I feel second battle pass doesn't add too much brand new or interesting content overall. But at the same time, i think it's a great deal for the price (and it gives the oportunity of buying the next for free). I won't an expensive battlepass every three months, and comparing with last one, this one is so much rewarding.
I found the first one grindy, but I don't think it was that bad, got my coins back to buy this one, and also got the Octane and Havok skins, which I like a lot. This battlepass feels much better imo. Caustic being my second main makes this BP worth it to me.
The sky dive emote are only for one legend because each emote is determine by the legends personality or resembles the legends uniqueness.

It's better than you think. It has 2 legendary skins, a bunch of banner frames, music, skydive emotes, and exclusive trackers which you say are pointless but I think are actually decent. You say that you're not trying to be negative but that is exactly how you are coming across. I definitely feel that this battle pass is better than the last one but season one's was good too.

I feel second battle pass doesn't add too much brand new or interesting content overall.
But at the same time, i think it's a great deal for the price (and it gives the oportunity of buying the next for free). I won't an expensive battlepass every three months, and comparing with last one, this one is so much rewarding.
I found the first one grindy, but I don't think it was that bad, got my coins back to buy this one, and also got the Octane and Havok skins, which I like a lot. This battlepass feels much better imo. Caustic being my second main makes this BP worth it to me.
