Im a furry but im not into the community, a lot of people in the fandom force cuteness into everything like spamming faces and changing letters in sentences to sound cute and honestly it just seems weird to me. About pedos and zoos its obviously a minory but a large minory compared to other fandoms (mainly zoos) because of how they get the image of acceptance to topics that CANNOT be accepted. I have no idea in the difference between community and the individual furry. I see the community as a collective of individuals, and most furry individuals are normal. I also dont know the difference between fandom and community. In the end there will always be people who like to hate without reason, and they will be wrong always.
The main reason people hate on something is to fit in better. Someone in the video literally said made a no buzzer noise to "do you have a reason" honestly I can't speak on it at all since I hate epic face users, bacons, noobs, people who use skinny torso + glasses + regular smile or the one with freckles MAINLY because their all trashy and toxic people (the ones I meet) and the people who hate furries probably have the same feelings. The reason why people hate furrys on roblox is mostly due to pattern recognition. A lot of the people who roleplay as furrys on roblox do degenerate stuff. And due to the human mind taking in more into account the bad stuff then good it makes a hated. I mostly hate furrys and i tolerate some of them that dont make it there entire personality.

The only way that u can bypass it it by going on twitter. That is the only one uncesured app where u can find (even with parental control) furry p.(but in that case its twitter foult). FINALLY, someone with a valid argument. in all honesty, there is too much degeneracy on the furry side of roblox. as a former furry myself, i was driven away by how horny people can be when making that kind of stuff on there. it needs to be moderated properly before they can be released onto the platform.

simple answer, most of the roblox playerbase are young kids, and they're highly-impressionable. They've seen their favorite react andy youtubers ripping on a certain community and they follow along with what they say because that's who they trust. We need to remember that not all furries use twitter. There's no way to exactly know the amount of people in the community who are gooners (which is a lot). This problem about NSFW Content is present on all communities too. Searching for art about certain games or movies etc, would have the same result. And just because we found a few NSFW content after searching for art, doesn't mean all the people in said community consume this type of content.

The people that don’t act…odd, and are furries, are stereotyped and literally hated by basically the whole Roblox community. This is wrong. Everyone has their own interests and opinions. Why do these people get so much hate?: Communities will always include pedos, maps, zoos, and so many other innapropriate things. Theres no way to get rid of them. These are quite common because these horible people are the most common to quickly blow up. There is a reason that question is being asked to furries. They find animal features attractive, Which is weird. And before you say not every one does, its about 90% of the community even if they don't like to admit it. The whole "furry" community started as a thinly veiled excuse to have an attraction to things that look like animals and have animal features. It's really not hard to tell either.

And most of the time said animalistic features aren't the main focus of the attraction and anatomical accuracy is sacrificed to make the anthropomorphic (human) animal more human like. Again, it's not that furries like the animal features overall, they like the animal features on humans because without the human aspect it's not really attractive.
I think the reason a lot of people think most of them are bad is because it revolves heavily around identity, and when a community is focused on that it leads to more cases of sexual problems than in others. It also has a lot of nsfw of it than of other communities because of that. People don't notice that most of them are good because they don't go out of their way to find good ones and they don't notice them when they do see them.

Honestly pretty W video, I like the neutral tone it takes. In my own honest words a lot of them are bad people, and as one I can easily say that a lot of them are toxic horrible people that are rude and there's a problem with preds, but there's also quite a lot of genuinely normal people that are in the fandom just because they enjoy art and stuff. For me, I'm one because I like anthropomorphic animal characters, its fun writing storylines and comics and coming up with my own characters and being able to put them in unique situations and come up with narratives and try to make unique designs. My fursona is merely a character; i don't identify as an animal, I don't identify as my fursona. I like games like Pokemon and Sonic, and those are what normal furries are.

I think the problem with that graph you gave is that generally something like quantity of... _bad people_ in a community forms as a _percentage._ I believe that really the problem stems from a higher likelihood of those people being furries generally. This, unfortunately, very negatively affects the public perception of the average furry. basically the argument you made didnt quite work but an argument in a somewhat similar spirit does
There are the furries that chill, and then there are the ones that make and/or wear nsfw ugc items. I’m talking about the Porn site logos, characters from nsfw franchises, or just straight up furry porn on t-shirts. Not to mention the hangout/roleplay games dedicated to this type of behavior. There is no ignoring it.
I personally never hated the concept of furries and at one point liked it but as soon as I got deeper into the community and found CHANGED, that's where it completely turned me off as I would never wish to be associated with those "people" Tho some this hatred kinda has no reason to exist, some people would hate you if you had anything positive about furries, would hate on the concept itself instead of searching how the community used this concept and it doesn't help that some of those furries on roblox are either degenerates or sweaty tryhards and to some people this might be their only source of furry interaction In short the Furry community is one of those "Good game, Bad community" type of situation

Furries when they're like, not weird or annoying are actually pretty fine and chill to hang out with. People seem to not really know that it's all just a hobby, and they don't really know that the bad furries just give us normal ones a bad name. But I will say, I don't like and I'd rather stay far away from the furry fandom and I don't like the weird ones at all. I recommend staying away from certain furry communities and fandoms, though.... because furry communities and fandoms have a weirdness problem. Im a furry but im not into the community, a lot of people in the fandom force cuteness into everything like spamming faces and changing letters in sentences to sound cute and honestly it just seems weird to me. We need to remember that not all furries use twitter. There's no way to exactly know the amount of people in the community who are gooners (which is a lot). This problem about NSFW Content is present on all communities too. Searching for art about certain games or movies etc, would have the same result. And just because we found a few NSFW content after searching for art, doesn't mean all the people in said community consume this type of content.

thank you so much for making this video! Heres a few definitions of common fandoms.
Furry= somone who finds interest in anthromomorphic animals, and sometimes makes a character out of them. Sometimes in order to express oneself, one may make the character a reality.
therian: There are many vast meanings to this. One of the general meanings to being a therian is somone who non-physically, non-human identifies with or as an animal. This may vary in spiritual, past lives, and many things alike.
Dragon puppeteers: somone who makes characters into paper, cardboard, and many things like that! these people are not furries, and only are one if they say they are.
Why do these people get so much hate?: Communities will always include pedos, maps, zoos, and so many other innapropriate things. Theres no way to get rid of them. These are quite common because these horible people are the most common to quickly blow up. This causes stereotypes, and misinformation to happen.

There is a reason that question is being asked to furries. They find animal features attractive, Which is weird. And before you say not every one does, its about 90% of the community even if they don't like to admit it. The whole "furry" community started as a thinly veiled excuse to have an attraction to things that look like animals and have animal features. It's really not hard to tell either.

And most of the time said animalistic features aren't the main focus of the attraction and anatomical accuracy is sacrificed to make the anthropomorphic (human) animal more human like. Again, it's not that furries like the animal features overall, they like the animal features on humans because without the human aspect it's not really attractive.

I think the reason a lot of people think most of them are bad is because it revolves heavily around identity, and when a community is focused on that it leads to more cases of sexual problems than in others. It also has a lot of nsfw of it than of other communities because of that. People don't notice that most of them are good because they don't go out of their way to find good ones and they don't notice them when they do see them.

Honestly pretty W video, I like the neutral tone it takes. In my own honest words a lot of them are bad people, and as one I can easily say that a lot of them are toxic horrible people that are rude and there's a problem with preds, but there's also quite a lot of genuinely normal people that are in the fandom just because they enjoy art and stuff.
For me, I'm one because I like anthropomorphic animal characters, its fun writing storylines and comics and coming up with my own characters and being able to put them in unique situations and come up with narratives and try to make unique designs.
My fursona is merely a character; i don't identify as an animal, I don't identify as my fursona. I like games like Pokemon and Sonic, and those are what normal furries are.
As a furry supporter, i can see why people dislike furries, some parts of the fandom is weird and it makes all furries look bad and gross.

I think the problem with that graph you gave is that generally something like quantity of... _bad people_ in a community forms as a _percentage._ I believe that really the problem stems from a higher likelihood of those people being furries generally. This, unfortunately, very negatively affects the public perception of the average furry.

I personally never hated the concept of furries and at one point liked it but as soon as I got deeper into the community and found CHANGED, that's where it completely turned me off as I would never wish to be associated with those "people"

Yeah, I agree with the guy who said that his personality does not mix with them. The only furries I know are the closeted kind who don’t own fur suits and drop out of it seemingly for a couple years at a time.
Edit: I mix well with those who only like cat people per se, with cat ears and tails maybe paws at most. I just don’t get anthropomorphic animals, It hits me in the wrong way and does not give me good vibes so it makes sense how some people can get all Austrian painter style from seeing it. Furries when they're like, not weird or annoying are actually pretty fine and chill to hang out with. People seem to not really know that it's all just a hobby, and they don't really know that the bad furries just give us normal ones a bad name.
But I will say, I don't like and I'd rather stay far away from the furry fandom and I don't like the weird ones at all. I recommend staying away from certain furry communities and fandoms, though.... because furry communities and fandoms have a weirdness problem.
