Alicia Sacramone was a great asset to the 2008 Olympic team. She is a beautiful soul, a beautiful person and a beautiful gymnast. I am soo proud that she pushed through all of her trials and tribulations to make it to the games. She definitely has some of the best tumbling and power I have ever seen and she deserved so much more than she got. I wish her the best of luck for the future. GO Alicia!!!! You Rock!
I would definitely love to see more of her, so DWTS would be great. There's also talk that she might get a little reality show or something. I definitely agree with the first part of your statement but not the with the rest. Redeem herself? What for?
5 minutes is about what Alicia would've gotten on any other talk show; Nastia and Shawn combined got 2-3 minutes on Oprah! Bonnie has been around for a long time, and had a few TV shows, which sadly haven't lasted long. i hope this one does! she is a Second City alumni and grew up in Chicago so i think she brings a nice midwestern sensibility to daytime; fits well with the Ellen Show which it precedes in my area.
When I see Nastia, and Shawn, I see just a gymnast. But when I see Alicia, she seems like she has so much for to offer. She is almost too damn humble for being that pretty, it freaks me out.

Yes Alicia did have the most obvious deductions that night but even without her errors on floor and beam and without Nastia stepping out of bounds they still would have earned the silver. Alicia is a class act for coming back from it all and not trying to blame the judges for the fall by delaying her on beam. By no means is she the "girl to hate". She has lead and secured US to many titles.
Why? What on earth did *you* personally lose? Do you know how hard she worked to get to the olympics? Do you know that she was competing on SEVERAL injuries? Can you even begin to understand how devastated she already is because she fell? A gymnast isn't just defined by one mistake or one competition. Look at her track record. 2007 World Championships: Shawn and Nastia both fell, with Nastia making a ridiculous mistake (see? it happens!) and it was Alicia who fought hard and clinched the gold.
