Just a thought for any saggy bits on the ceiling, would possibly to use 2 inch Velcro. Stick it on with some super strong double sided tape. Take away any risk of sag and it can be removed easily. 3M do a version of it I think. When I was working in the aircraft industry, our trimmer/ upholsterer's had a tape known as ' Snot' tape. You couldn't get it off your fingers. It was used to hold down cabin carpets. Great stuff it was too. I remember once being being sent to the cockpit of a 747 to modify a pedal rigging tool. Unfortunately the pilot seat was still in position and I needed to wriggle in to position. The snot tape was still on the floor and I managed to get both my forearms, in the overalls glued to the floor. No leverage to extract myself easily and asked a young female apprentice to grab my collar and pull me up. Sorry I'm late for tea break and buggered off. It took about five minutes of pulling which eventually ripped my overalls.😄 Young people 🙄 She went on to higher things, became head of training in the Aviation Dept of one of the collages.
Hi Loki The sag at the front is because I don't have all the screws in yet. It takes one screw in the centre of each side to secure it but you are right in saying velcro does a good job I have got a scotch velcro for the side walls however the adhesive on the velcro is not great and does pull away so this was corrected by fixing both straps with contact adhesive before pushing them together. The velcro holds 7kg per foot (allegedly), and the panels weigh far less than this they will also be held by the curtain tracks, which I have put on the front window panels ( probably be shown in next video) There will be a 10mm gap between the main ceiling and the roof in some places which I will have to put some sort of cushioning to stop vibration this May be made up of thin straps of wood with velcro to hold the ceiling in place 👍
Instead of cutting the vinyl in the corners try a heat gun, some vinyl's will stretch a lot. We call those nuts "acorn nuts" because they look like acorns.
i cant wait for any new videos grandad

Hi John
I will see if I can find a video of someone doing it like that and give it a try on the next panels. Thank you 🙂
