Honestly these types of scenarios make me more sad than scared Having to know your going to die and being told to even do it on your own terms, and to comfort yourself before you pass is honestly just really sad to me
This is even sadder considering the fact that we may be the only life in this universe, and once Earth gets destroyed, we and all the other animals on Earth will die. Basically meaning there will be no more life in the universe unless new life forms on another potentially habitable planet outside our Solar System.
Probably the Darkest EAS scenario ive ever heard, almost laughed when the national anthem was played at the end of the video, great job doing this one mate!
the sudden alarm made me jump, great job. also i think the calm music is a pro, silence would be good too, but calming music would help make sure people dont panic out of control. great job, this actually scared me
No, it’s about the speed of light (closest part of the Kuiper belt is about 30 au away from earth, light travels about 173 au in 24 hours, so 7 ish au per hour, so just over 4 hours for a distance of 30 au)
I love how you do believable British eas videos and mix it with British tv from throughout different eras, as the bbc has always seemed a bit creepy and eerie Better than British eas with American audio and tones
If this happened, i'd say my final goodbyes to my family/friends and then run to my best friend and cherish our last moments alive. I'd hug him one final time.
i like that the music slowly turns pesimistic throughout, first its upbeat pop to try and keep people calm, then as the bbc realise how serious this is going to be, its solemn piano
Dude, you did a really good job with this. Like, up until it was made clear that the space object was an evil alien spacecraft, I was genuinely convinced that this was a real emergency broadcast that actually happened, and because of that, the emergency siren really caught me off-guard, and I think what made it even more terrifying was the fact that I was just vibing to the chill elevator music when the video suddenly screams at me that I’m basically about to die. Fantastic work, man
@@internet_user975 The moon of Saturn mentioned in the video, Mimas, has a giant crater that makes it look very similar to the Death Star, which also gave away what they were going for here.
@@LanceVanceDance84 i don't think they said Jupiter's MOON, but even if they mentioned a moon, a gigantic rock (moon ofcource) can't shoot anything lol
@@internet_user975 ...but they DO mention the object's resemblance to _Saturn's_ moon, Mimas, in this very video. That moon has been widely noted for its resemblance to the Death Star for many years now, which for me is what gave away the fact that the object would indeed turn out to be the Death Star. And of course an actual moon wouldn't be able to shoot anything; in the video they only point out that it's similar in size and appearance to Mimas.
“Ight so we don’t think it wants to kill us” *A few seconds later* “It wants to kill us. Gerald, I knew you shouldn’t have rickrolled them!” “Lol whoops” “WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘LOL WHOOP-“
The big thing that takes me out of this is how well-put-together and informative the emergency broadcast is. Realistically there wouldn't be one 10 minute lecture that gives a detailed rundown of the situation, there'd be mass-scale confusion with a handful of vague emergency broadcasts as the sole source of information, followed by every media outlet tripping over themselves to report on the story, likely with conflicting info between sources as the details get ironed out. Good job though, I look forward to seeing what you make next
Plus the Empire wouldn't just fucking blow up a planet like Earth. Most if not all of the Planets in starwars have one or two climates at most, but Earth has over a dozen! It's an anomaly they'd want to study, add in the absurd biodiversity and they'd really be interested in all Earth has to offer. Plus Earth's human's are likely to be quite similar to SW humans, 'and' the fact that we'd developed some half-decent tech all on our own.
I don't think we'd be officially told if something like this was happening unless it somehow leaked. Mass panic and confusion, and for what? It'll all be over, forever, very soon. Earth and everything on it destroyed. Normal life would be currently ongoing with people blissfully unaware. Babies being born, people at work and school, wild animals going about their routines, people asleep during night on other parts of the world, traffic jams, aircraft mid-flight... then this.
Firearms were illegal in the UK by this point so I find it incredibly unlikely that they will authorise the use of an illegal weapon to end your own life with
Idk how an EAS in Britain looks like and if this is like a real template, but this wouldn't seem like a good warning imo tbh 😅 I am mostly used to these things being a short yup stuff is happening stay at home, instead of a 4 pages essay 😅
Decent EAS, watched this multiple times. Pros: - Chilling and eerie - Upsetting ending, i love how the end slowly gets deafened by the energy beam. It adds even more to the sadness and hopelessness of humanity during the time of crisis. - Realistic broadcast and messages. I think if this or something like this happened, it would be executed like this. - They don’t even show you any pictures or videos, meaning you can’t even see what’s happening and it makes it even more frightening and degrading. Cons: - The optimistic music during the standby periods is quite a big and questionable issue, it ruins the vibe. I think if it was silent, it would make it even more eerie. Just admit it, if this actually happened IRL, there won’t just be happy, optimistic music then an alarm sound saying we’re all doomed. - TTS Brian reading the text doesn’t really allow me to take this seriously as I probably could have. But I do think it’s just because I’ve personally heard it too much, other than that, the voice still put me at unease. Hats off, though, this is good.
Like Buko said, the music is to calm one down, mostly children, because do you want sad music during the last seconds of life? Or happy music to keep young ones calm?
The optimistic music one is realistic, because in WWII / the Cold War, there was this underground bunker the BBC owned, that could broadcast that sort of music to survivors of a nuclear fallout.
The final minute or so are one of the most disturbing things I have heard in my life, coming up close second to everywhere at the end of time by the caretaker. The fact that the broadcast slowly becomes more and more distorted and that "god saved the queen" begins playing in the background without any lyrics is just plain horrifying. Well done 10/10
Yo, this is a pretty good EAS! Ups: + Not in the United States, where most EAS scenarios happen + Kinda chilling + Sound effects at the end to company the currently ongoing crisis + Very sad ending + Realistic-like messages Cons: - Happy music during the waits, which is quite concerning (That's it really!)
The fact that it’s the BBC makes it so much creepier for me. The ones made by people in the US are scary but there’s always that subconscious level of separation because you know that’s not how it would happen in your own country.
"Realistic-like messages " very unrealistic for the UK lol I mean firstly if such a thing would happen, in the slight chance we'd survive, they wouldn't advise suicide, plus they recommended a firearm, which, yknow, are omega rare in the UK. Also I feel as if it makes zero sense for just a random spaceship to come and attack earth wasting energy.
Yooooooo this is blowing up, thanks for the support!

I love how you do believable British eas videos and mix it with British tv from throughout different eras, as the bbc has always seemed a bit creepy and eerie
Better than British eas with American audio and tones

Dude, you did a really good job with this. Like, up until it was made clear that the space object was an evil alien spacecraft, I was genuinely convinced that this was a real emergency broadcast that actually happened, and because of that, the emergency siren really caught me off-guard, and I think what made it even more terrifying was the fact that I was just vibing to the chill elevator music when the video suddenly screams at me that I’m basically about to die. Fantastic work, man
basically the death Star, closest thing that looks like a moon AND shoots beams or something idk

How’s the cave treating you?
Plus Earth's human's are likely to be quite similar to SW humans, 'and' the fact that we'd developed some half-decent tech all on our own.
dont look up
So true
I don't think we'd be officially told if something like this was happening unless it somehow leaked. Mass panic and confusion, and for what? It'll all be over, forever, very soon. Earth and everything on it destroyed.
Normal life would be currently ongoing with people blissfully unaware. Babies being born, people at work and school, wild animals going about their routines, people asleep during night on other parts of the world, traffic jams, aircraft mid-flight... then this.

This is the channel of the most accurate and credible EAS, blow my mind.
Idk how an EAS in Britain looks like and if this is like a real template, but this wouldn't seem like a good warning imo tbh 😅
I am mostly used to these things being a short yup stuff is happening stay at home, instead of a 4 pages essay 😅
I'm really appreciating this British version of Local 58. The digital voice definitely adds an appealing level of unease.
Yes. TTS Brian.
Nah man the tts voice just completely negated any fear this would have given me
@@maxinemayfield4551 dude the Brian voice will never be the same for me ever again tbh…
This is something that my goofy self can finally handle as “a mildly scary video” thank you 🙏
Decent EAS, watched this multiple times.
Pros:
- Chilling and eerie
- Upsetting ending, i love how the end slowly gets deafened by the energy beam.
Cons:
- The optimistic music during the standby periods is quite a big and questionable issue, it ruins the vibe.
The music probably is to calm you down and avoid panic.
Like Buko said, the music is to calm one down, mostly children, because do you want sad music during the last seconds of life? Or happy music to keep young ones calm?
Yeah I doubt TTS Brian is used in the BBC news channel. Note that Project Zorgo uses TTS Brian too (and Zorgo is a fake kids thing on TH-cam)
The optimistic music one is realistic, because in WWII / the Cold War, there was this underground bunker the BBC owned, that could broadcast that sort of music to survivors of a nuclear fallout.
But The way he Instructs how to commit Suicide…
The final minute or so are one of the most disturbing things I have heard in my life, coming up close second to everywhere at the end of time by the caretaker. The fact that the broadcast slowly becomes more and more distorted and that "god saved the queen" begins playing in the background without any lyrics is just plain horrifying. Well done 10/10
Another thing I forgot to mention is the literal description of how to end your own life. It just shows hopelessness at a new level.
I love caretaker.

Yo, this is a pretty good EAS!
Ups:
+ Not in the United States, where most EAS scenarios happen
+ Kinda chilling
+ Sound effects at the end to company the currently ongoing crisis
+ Very sad ending
+ Realistic-like messages
Cons:
- Happy music during the waits, which is quite concerning
(That's it really!)
The fact that it’s the BBC makes it so much creepier for me. The ones made by people in the US are scary but there’s always that subconscious level of separation because you know that’s not how it would happen in your own country.
Chilling? listen to this 7:50

" very unrealistic for the UK lol
I mean firstly if such a thing would happen, in the slight chance we'd survive, they wouldn't advise suicide, plus they recommended a firearm, which, yknow, are omega rare in the UK.
Also I feel as if it makes zero sense for just a random spaceship to come and attack earth wasting energy.
