- In this video we press a stack of 100 CD's.
This was requested by allot of people to do this experiment over with a thermal camera and the pressure gauge.
Unfortunatly the thermal camera was pointed a little bit too high to see the end temperature of the stack when it exploded.
Thanks for watching !!
Put your ideas in the comments what you want to see pressed !
Note : We bought new studio lighting for the future videos, but we are still waiting for the delivery. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Epic data compression lots of disk fragmentation
Haha!
epic comment hahahaha
you sir, have my congratulations for winning all of the interwebs
*shakes head...claps
This is the best comment XD
02:00 The sound of victory
Hehe exactly
Couldn't have said it better myself.
its the sound of jumpscare!
in tf2
Cardinal Tester8 omfg yes
That's what I call data compression
lol
Yas😂
XD
I wanna like but theres 69 likes
Carlos...

"Hey honey, how long till the popcorn is ready?"
"lol i dunno let me-" *kablooey*
Lmao, I just got it, he's checking on it right as it explodes dad
xD*******
those files have been compressed
but the data is really fragmented
You forgot to post the jenga video.
+Icureditwithmybrain Yeah i know :)Little mistake ;) I'll post it next
Should've pressed 100 copies of CoD Infinite Warfare. lul
Ajtony Yeah its not like any one will be using them.
CoD cringeworthies cry at the sight of it.
you forgot deal with extremely dangerous animal, it is the best part of your videos ever
Dangerous animals are pressed on another channel :)
+shisue2 Sorry friend, that is done on "Hydraulic Press Channel" from Finland ;) The link of their channel is in the description of this video ;)
That was surprising! I don't know if I've seen you smash something that could fracture that many times and still hold a tremendous load.
Dat K.O sound tho
Can something break the machine? Or will it stop before it explodes itself lol
That's how blu ray discs are made.
i like the thermal camera on this channel. it's something the hydraulic press channel doesn't have.
Yeah, nice thermal video, but you did it just wrong -_- the cursor was not on the CDs. You failed.
What was the temperature in the end... we stil dont know
+Raidcrusher Hot.
they said in the description that they pointed it too high
learn to read the description before you get all high and mighty
dont be a hater you could still see it
Roses are red, violets are blue, 100 cd's crushed on press tube.
yes finally, no talk just video! straight to press 👍
That was satisfying!
I enjoy this channel
Love it! This is all that CDs are good for now!
I found the "KATONG" sound satisfying
so beautiful!!!
This was epic!
Weer zo een rustgevende video :)
casually creates a black hole
I seriously questions the safety here like half the time their "blast shield" dosnt do its job
+StarSketcher We didn't have a shield with this video. After this video we installed one :)
CDs bang.
StarSketcher you sound like an over protective mom
StarSketcher you must be a blast at party's
please go do this your self with no blast sheild and come back and tell me that again, there's being overly protective but this is just common fucking sense. even the channal addmited they installed a sheild after this video, so obviously I'm right
I like it we get the fun part you get the clean up lol
That thermal view is awesome :)
That was awesome! I can feel that pressure haha
That was awesome
The moral of the story is, we should be building spaceships with CDs
the force os strong with this one
WOW! That's amazing. CD's are pretty tough.
Now they're truly compact discs.
And that's how blu ray disks are made.
Love the thermal camera
They put up a fight those ones! :D
At first I thought how boring, but know I'm tottaly into these videos.........wow
Nice !
That would make a cool pottery idea.
Sound's like my popcorn under the microwave bake :))
1:42 when grandma gives you too much food
thats exactly what everyonr whas expecting in the others CD vídeos. you must press it to the limit.
RIP to whoever was standing in front of that machine when the CD's exploded
Next video. Crushing my girlfriends head in a hydraulic press!
HPC called, he wants his shit back.
That is what *heavy metal* sounds like!
That held up well
It got up to 87.8 Fahrenheit, btw, for the other curious Americans 😉
That was before the focal point was no longer on the discs. I assure you that it got much hotter, and much faster the tighter the press was on it.
+nitroman365 very true, that was just the highest number that my eye caught on the Celsius numbering
+Drew Harris understood.
+nitroman365 yeah, as I watched again, I noticed that the temperature I noted was on just the top left, rather than dead center, where I'm sure it got much hotter, as that's what expanded the most
+Drew Harris go metric, gramm and celsius. Seriously, what is wrong with you? Your sciensists use the propper measurement system allready.
I like your channel. If I meet you, I'll buy you a round or two of beer.
why the fuck didn't you examine the stack on camera, I wanted to see you pull them apart and whatnot lol
How many tons of pressure did it take?
That's what I call compact disks!
This was actually pretty cool, I didn't think CDs were as tightly compressed as they clearly are. If it didn't explode and you released the pressure just before it reached breaking point would they all be fused together from the surface friction heat?
That was fucking intense man
Damn, would have been really cool to see the temperature at the very end :(
If something cracks under the pressure will the pressure go down? On the pressure thing a ma bob
awesome
OMG I want to see the Jenga video!
The press is cool about it
I always wonder watching this channel.. Who cleans up the messes! Lol
Must be horrible cleaning it all up
Now that is what I call a compact disc
the color looks satisfy
my heart dropped when it exploded
That's gonna be fun cleaning up
This one was great. A slow mo would've been neat on this one
ese foi um dos melhores
PSI on the outer dial; bars on the inner dial? About 8200 psi at failure?
Nice experiment! How much would be the temperature in red?
Lol it sounded like popcorn
That's a DANK data compression
I guess you could call that....a hit :D
Might be a good idea to fully enclose the press after the flying CD shrapnel, though I'm sure you thought the same thing!
Proof that everything can explode, lol. Maybe Michael Bay isn't too far off
I picture him looking at the mess and thinking to himself "anything for views"
I jumped so hard when it popped lol
If the CD's had been full of recorded data, we could have seen what all the billions of little data bits looked like after the explosion. I've always wondered what the data looks like. ;) Actually, the CD's might not have exploded at all if there had been data on them, if the press's data compression algorithm was really good. ;)
Why was the top one completely unharmed
What is the unit of that pressure meter ? PSI ?
If only Cyberdyne Systems had made their Terminator Model 101's from CD's they'd of won! Doh! Hehe!
The noise when it was popping sounded like metal popcorn
What would happen if you freeze them first?
Good video. Next try to put there a baterry. :)
I think his next video is motorbike battery. he mentioned at the end of this video. I am waiting for that 😀😀
could this experiment be repeated without the carousel cd tray? It appears when that gives way, the slippage affected the even spread of pressure. I was wondering if consistent pressure would continue to compact the discs into one clear piece of plastic?
+Jeff Collett Yep, we stil have Some cd's left ;)
+PressTube the polycarbonate could under the right conditions turn into an amorphous blob. curious to see if you could do it under the press. the temp will probably need to be raised to around 135 centigrade. subscribing...
Since 1:20 and late the termoCamera did not show discs tempreture! You should mount camera lower, or rule the camera. In general - very interesting video. the highest temperature appear in place, where press contact with disc and in cracks. may becouse of high pressure - the material concentrate in small volume whereas in the center material deformed to radius. in cracs - may be from high deformation, that appears before breaking. The termal video show different colors, but has no a scale. Repeat - very interesting video!
So simple but so funny😀😀
How many tons did it take until it exploded?
you think they will still work? if they do can I have them please
and that's how the flashdrive was created
holy sheeeeeeeetttttttt them subs went up fast 🙈🙈🙈
i think thats how a blueray disk is made
cool :)
Which utility do I run now? Defrag or Disk Cleanup?
Next: Press Hard drives. Laid horizontal, standing on edge, and standing on end.
11:50 pop corn?! xD
1:58 that ding tho
Those discs had a lot of resistance!
I think it will be come a DVD
this is like a more pleasing version of will it blend
that high speed camera would've been great on this one...well...all of them really.
Are these all Justin Beber CDs?
who else love the sound of cracking those Cds?
