OK so... your are the best I've been searching for a vital hardcore lead tutorial but I found nothing but today when I shearch it you are the first one. Thanks man.
Thanks Man 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I was a lot of days to find a perfect video. i made my first steps and a lot of time nothing goes forward that sucks so much 🙄🙄 But this video helps a lot 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@hcontunes it should be said, its a lot of work what u are doing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 and so i follow u 💪🏻 i producing with logic and at the moment i have pads, leads & kick and now i go to the next step to make an industrial hardcore track . looking forward for your next video 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thx really 🎶
@@hcontunes I struggle a lot with layering/adding other drums when I have a kick pattern. (Like adding a snare, hi hats etc..) Which results in terrible grooves. A video showing some basic patterns and drum processing would be awesome, if possible however! :)
Nice video, but I can't get the sound exactly like yours, it always sounds completely different, even though I did it exactly according to the steps. Can I download a similar preset somewhere?
Hey man I think that’s one of the craziest leads that I have ever seen I love it, I just have a question, can u maybe put a download link for this preset in description pls man 🥺🥺
the tutorial and lead are amazing, but i’m having trouble with one part. i’m at the 8:30 mark and whenever i turn the filter up on the first oscillator, the sound completely disappears. it only works if it’s turned all the way down. i’m very new to sound design, what can i do to fix this?
↓↓ Thank you, hopefully this helps and get's you going! :) ↓↓ To create a Filter effect like you see on the video (With any plugin): 1. add envelope to cutoff 2. add macro to cutoff 3. shape the envelope The "macro" control sets the overall position of the Cutoff knob. Where ever you set the macro is where the Envelope/LFO shape starts affecting the filter position to go up or up and down, following the shape of the Envelope/LFO. If the filter is set to 100% The envelope does nothing (like it should in this case) if it's set to Bipolar mode. If you do this, it should just work. If you are still having the same issue i recommend to read Vital's manual. Or google terms like: "unipolar and bipolar mode in vital/serum" (it's the same for both) "Deadmau5 pluck tutorial" (teaches you the basics of envelope) "Lfo and envelope" (important!) "macro controls in vital/serum"
A noob question if you don't mind - I noticed that Vital has much less filter shapes compared to Serum. Doesn't it limits its creative options? 🤔 I only doing my very 1st steps in learning synthesis, so the question can be quite stupid haha
Not a stupid question at all! You are correct about that serum has more filter shapes (and in my opinion they sound better). In the other hand you can use 3 separate filters in Vital and in serum only 2. It doesn't limit creative options, each one (Serum and vital) has their own advantages. In my honest opinion you should learn synthesis with Serum if it's possible for you. If not Vital will work just fine too. :) Why serum? (in my opinion) -Insane sounding Filters -Super versatile distortion -Insane amount of tutorials available -SerumFX is a thing (look it up if you are not aware of this) -Wavetable editor is pure gold -Modulation possibilities -High quality presets available -Easy to learn with I hope this helps you,! 😃
@@hcontunes wow, thanks so much for such a detailed reply! Yea I had a feeling that the best to me will be exactly combo of serum and vital. Btw professional mixing mastering engineer is here 😃 After 15 years mixing I finally getting into sound design - hard as hell but fun! Lol

stop being a pedantic genre purist. your example was oldschool hardcore. hardcore these days isnt known as a specific genre but a broad spectrum of subgenres. words and definitions change, keep up or stay in the past.
