I am fighting breast cancer and congestive heart failure. 5 years ago my husband of 40 years passed away and I almost died of a "broken heart" (syndrome); except for God's divine intervention. That is exactly how I felt and I still feel sometimes after such a big pain I've been through. But one thing for sure, there was never a time I craved and wasn't filled and filled again and again by Jesus eternal love. The pain one day will pass. Jesus is real. And He is forever.
