Maru and Ten Ten are also helpful to learn the regular sounds because I remember sounds it’s just hard to attach it to the symbol but I had to see the symbol and so much studying Ten Ten and Maru, too, that I can remember most Hiragana. I find Maru and Ten Ten pretty easy especially if you have a basic grasp of Hiragana.
