You showcased a "quirk" in the game, which is that even though the weather rotates on timers even if you are in a match, the game "locks" you into whatever the weather was at the start of the match. Thats why Thunder missed - the rain animation was playing, but the terrian for the battle wasnt rain.

He didnt miss, he himself said he wouldnt be able to catch it because ash never had hoothoot.

You can transfer Battle Bond Greninja, but he just gets stat boosts and doesn’t change form.

My friends knew that dispite being Level 58, We can't evolve our Corphish into Crawdaunt since Ash Kecthum never evolve his Crophish into Crawdaunt
