The stressful work of a Stanford student is really inspirational for some reason.

Thank you for this video!! As a freshman Stanford student, I had no idea how much work Stanford would entail. I have friends and family at home whose only exposure to Stanford is this channel's videos, and I'm glad this video exists. It's a much more accurate representation of Stanford once the glamor of its rating is stripped down. At the end of the day, it is a school and you will have unglamorous work to do.

still trying to find that balance, I just joined a sorority at my college while balancing studying and trying to reach an 80 average.. it is not easy for me but hopefully I will find that balance soon
I see that you're in campus for most of your time, do you have enough time to go to downtown or go to any other places in Palo Alto to hang out?
My goal has always been to go to Stanford, but this year as an 8th grader I am taking 3 high school classes (Acc Bio, Acc Algebra, and Spanish 1) and I already got a B in my 1st Spanish semester, so basically that dream went down the drain in 4 months.

Keely Larson me too girl! But it's okay. High schools will look past that grade. If you do an outstanding job on your SAT and ACT in high school, and get good grades that's what truly matters most. Also they look at your overall grade in Spanish, so if you got a B one semester in Spanish, but later on get A's they will look at the average. Just do the best you can and that's enough!

Your day at Stanford doesn't include a single activity that doesn't revolve around "women's issues" in some roundabout way. Honestly makes me reconsider applying to Stanford

What a joke. Do you really think test anxiety is exclusive to women? Do you really think self-defeating thoughts are just a women's issue?
Here's a novel idea for you to consider, not everything is oppression against women. Can you wrap your head around that?
The educational system in this country is blatant indoctrination against men. Women are treated much more favorably in academic institutions and there's an obvious bias against men. If you don't believe me, consider this; when's the last time you've seen a course about men's issues? Is there a group called "Stanford Men in Business?" Look up national stats on education by gender. I'll save you a much dreaded google search, here's a link: www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/docs/gender-equity-in-education.pdf
Do those stat's suggest that men are doing better than women? If you can't see reason, your Stanford education is wasted on you.

I don't know about you, but to me it looks like men are the more oppressed group in the US. But you don't see us whining because we don't form militant men's organizations specifically to oppress women (*cough* feminism *cough*). Women's issues in the US is a joke.
You're nothing but an idiot parroting what every "forward thinking" woman says. I get it, it's a proven way to pass your classes in colleges like Stanford, but where's your integrity, lady?
The real world isn't your gender studies classroom.
Cesare Borgia Feminism and clubs like Women in Business are designed to help lift up women, who have been historically oppressed in nearly every single way. They aren’t putting down men, but rather raising women up to account for all the lost time, per say. And given that men still dominate many fields, including business and politics (where women ARE actively being oppressed with the laws as of late), these types of organizations are quite necessary. If anyone is whining, it’s you.
