That initial confrontation between Genkai and Yusuke seems so unnecessary to me especially since in the manga none of this happens. Genkai just goes up to Yusuke and is like “can I talk don’t? Sure”
This is one of my favorite plot twists. It was who you expected, just not in the way you expected.
