I feel like Saiyans weren't always Evil too, remember there was a Civil war between the Saiyans that wanted to be Evil and the Good Natural Saiyans (Yamoshi and such), with the Good Saiyans losing the Battle Hence why I believe that in their Truest Nature and Instinct Saiyans always were a Warrior Race that basically were Kind/Pure Hearted, but some became Corrupt, like how Kami became Corrupt, but seperated himself from that Evil, making Piccolo
This civil war thing among the Saiyan is new to me and now it makes so much sense that why Bardock, Gine and Goku are different from other Saiyan. And why Vegeta was blaming his father about the thing that caused destruction in Planet Vegeta in early parts of Granola Arc.
I could be wrong but maybe the Super Saiyan transformation has something to do with Saiyan's True Pride and Nature. Super Saiyan is kind of a reward power which is activated when a character has a strong feeling of sadness and anger. The anger of thing that they loved is gone or when they are threatened that it will be gone. Goku is a Saiyan with pure heart and has a kind nature and when he saw the murder of his best friend that he loved die in front of his own eyes. He had a feeling of sadness and anger which made him transform into Super Saiyan. The character of Yamoshi haven't been explored that much all we know that he was the first saiyan to achieve Super Saiyan God. Maybe he was a saiyan who had a true pride and pure nature of the Saiyan. Toriyama and Toyotaro need to explore more on history of Sadala and how the True Pride and Nature Saiyan were supposed to be. Or maybe he should explored on Yamoshi and History of Planet Vegeta when King Cold was the emperor. And how they turned evil.

it's an interesting look at Saiyans and what symbolism they represent, but I have a slightly more literal reason why the Saiyans from universe 6 evolved like this, and that's because the Saiyans are mixed with another race that is human-shaped, and that's why I think there are no more pure blooded Saiyans. Since now they are all half sayans or that mix of races, that's why they have more potential to transform, and why they don't have tails anymore which is all because of the excessive mixing of races that evolution has shaped like this.
I REALLY hope the Universe6 Saiyans appear in another canon arc soon. I really wanna see Broly and Kale meet. Also the kinda like the idea that Caulifla’s gang are freedom fighters and there could be some kinda Sadala civil war. Of course Cabba, Caulifla and Kale aren’t villains at all so it could be a interesting have a more “gray story” plus as Goku and Vegeta’s (maybe Broly) might be a deciding factor in said war. Not saying that’s the next arc but it could be cool.
there needs to be other saiyans in U6 that have more potential than Kale, Caulifla, and Cabba maybe there is an evil saiyan like Cumber in U6 but the perfect time for Broly to meet them is at the end of the series

And the other thing: what i said about retcon is halfway possible ,because the storywriters of Toei Animation studios could just reuse the machine from DBGT ,which Vegeta used for transforming into SSJ4 ,despite having no tail at the time. Despite Kale and Caulifla being kinda of handed transformations, they are undoubtedly some of the most interesting characters in the series to me. Female Saiyans have the potential to be very unique fighters and I’m looking forward to Bulla and Pan joining these battles.

I hope we see a power up with the other universe characters when we see them again U6 saiyan trio should take a page out of U7 book and train with their angel. U11 has giant potential. Despite Jiren being so insanely powerful he has so much knowledge to bestow. If he trained for a rematch with our characters while simultaneously training the pride troopers and helping then the sharpen their techniques and grow then even the most forgettable characters in that team could be a legit challenge in a future arc. Jiren doing this would show he has embraced teamwork. On top of that despite his high skill level he may also learn new moves along the way while working with others
Super after the TOP feels completely different. In the first half of Super we were dealing with the other universes and learning about them. Now we're lucky if that stuff even gets mentioned and it feels like the first run never really happened for the most part.
just throwing my rock in the pond here, i notice no one mentioned the war with the truffles, i always imagined that war lasted fairly long, and the universe 6 sayains might have intergrated with them instead of a war so they probably blended together which is why the universe 6 sayains are also seemingly shorter.

While U7 Saiyans were constantly infighting with each other which led to the destruction on Sadala and they had to find a new planet to imagine inhabit which was Planet Plant. So to answer your question NO the U6 Saiyans did not integrate with the tuffles.

Knowing that these other Saiyan’s would make a for a good distraction for both Cabba/Caulifla,Frost would decide to have Dr Rota to place Kale under their control using a strange device. Cabba/Caulifla would regain their strength and begin training on the distant planet needing opportunity to increase their power to stand a chance against Frost. Cabba/Caulifla would decide to achieve the next level of power above that of an ascended Saiyan,Cabba/Caulifla would decide to aim for SSJ3. Their training would be harsh,with both warriors spending months training while their people is forced to commit heinous crimes on other worlds. Sensei would find Caulifla/Cabba on this distant planet with the Saiyan’s being forced to wear strange masks that increase their power amazingly. Cabba/Caulifla would hold back against their brethren but notice when they have no choice and transform into SSJ and quickly defeat their comrades. Cabba would be forced to fight his Sensei deciding to showcase his training, transforming into a SSJ2 and having a hard fought battle against his Sensei quickly defeating him.
One thing that I noticed while Cabba was looking for team mates was the clothing that the older saiyan was wearing looking more like a samurai attire than the usual caveman or technology and armor suits we see with the other saiyans im. sure this side of the saiyans has much more to offer us I am still waiting for pay off on Vegeta asking Cabba to tale him to his planet.

Looking at the Sun Wukong story, it seems like Vegeta is more similar to him than Goku since he just becomes purely good because of a head injury while Vegeta was arrogant and bad, and slowly changed into a good person. Also he too wanted to conquer the heavens while Goku didn’t care about that

The universe 6 sayains are easily my least favorite in the whole series. I guess maybe except for GT pan. Cabba is alright, but they were very one-dimensional. Also Kale controlling berserker in so little time is very contrived. It’s not totally their fault considering almost all of the new ToP characters were like this. But they could have been done so much better. They need to be fleshed out way more in my opinion, I hope Bulla and Pan have a much better future.

Caulifla/Cabba would escape to a distant remote planet away from Planet Sadala where no one is located,Planet Sadala Saiyan’s would be enslaved by Frost and this would lead to a battle between Frost/Sadala’s King.
Frost would quickly defeat the King Of Sadala and make him kneel before him leading to the Saiyan’s having no choice but to surrender themselves to the control of Frost,Frost would decide use the Saiyan’s to his own means,Sending his newly enslaved toys to destroy Cabba/Caulifla.
Knowing that these other Saiyan’s would make a for a good distraction for both Cabba/Caulifla,Frost would decide to have Dr Rota to place Kale under their control using a strange device.
Cabba/Caulifla would regain their strength and begin training on the distant planet needing opportunity to increase their power to stand a chance against Frost.
Cabba/Caulifla would decide to achieve the next level of power above that of an ascended Saiyan,Cabba/Caulifla would decide to aim for SSJ3.
Their training would be harsh,with both warriors spending months training while their people is forced to commit heinous crimes on other worlds.
Sensei would find Caulifla/Cabba on this distant planet with the Saiyan’s being forced to wear strange masks that increase their power amazingly.
Cabba/Caulifla would hold back against their brethren but notice when they have no choice and transform into SSJ and quickly defeat their comrades.
Cabba would be forced to fight his Sensei deciding to showcase his training, transforming into a SSJ2 and having a hard fought battle against his Sensei quickly defeating him.
One thing that I noticed while Cabba was looking for team mates was the clothing that the older saiyan was wearing looking more like a samurai attire than the usual caveman or technology and armor suits we see with the other saiyans im. sure this side of the saiyans has much more to offer us I am still waiting for pay off on Vegeta asking Cabba to tale him to his planet.
Kinda bummed that Cabba doesn't have a saiyan tail. Would've been cool to See him achieve SSJ4

Looking at the Sun Wukong story, it seems like Vegeta is more similar to him than Goku since he just becomes purely good because of a head injury while Vegeta was arrogant and bad, and slowly changed into a good person. Also he too wanted to conquer the heavens while Goku didn’t care about that

The universe 6 sayains are easily my least favorite in the whole series. I guess maybe except for GT pan. Cabba is alright, but they were very one-dimensional. Also Kale controlling berserker in so little time is very contrived. It’s not totally their fault considering almost all of the new ToP characters were like this. But they could have been done so much better.
They need to be fleshed out way more in my opinion, I hope Bulla and Pan have a much better future.
