Just turn the Pixel layer into a smart object and apply the sweater selection as a layer mask to a Hue & Saturation adjustment layer. Far easier, completely non destructive and fascinatingly versatile!

Well if you have to tell your boss what you do all do you do such a video... If your boss does not look, you use the object selection tool, that will select the cloth in 1 click good enough 🤣
Basically when you control click a mask,it just gives a selection of whats in the mask (in this case the sweater) but he didn't control clicked it,he just pressed his control button which showed that option... But he didn't do it.
Use the color picker on the left side toolbar, or click on the white/black square swatch - also same tool bar. When in doubt, go to the help bar and type the thing you’re looking for and it can show you where to find it in the options
