The way i got to this game i will never forget. I was just walking in the city and entered a game stop. The casher came to me and asked me if i want to buy a brutal zombie game uncut (censored in germany normally). I told him what is that game about? He just said, you only have a torch and have to walk through the night. I got interested and he told me, because this version got restricted, we have to get outside of the shop to make the deal. So we went infront of the shop, he gave me the game, i gave him the money. This is how i got into the most amazing game ever and i never regret it...
It's funny to watch this scene where you have this neat helmet with a HUD on it for your briefing and Crane incompetently loses it, breaks his legs, immediately gets concussed and also bitten. I have to imagine he thought he was hot shit before he dramatically fucked up his insertion in every way possible without straight up dying.
For the people wondering that he got bitten. You don't remember the Scene that Jade gave him the Antizin Syringe at the End and she sacrificed herself to save him. He would be turn . But unfortunately he turns as Night Hunter on The Following.
I'm not sure why but I found this scene hilarious and stupid. He's a cool secret agent getting ready for the deadliest mission of his life and then his parachute gets stuck in some wires and he falls and hurts himself 😂 The dumb part is when he pointed his pistol at them and let them surround him, that's just so stupid why didnt he just back up?
Bad part is Its not a real graphics its scripted and once you wake up it's real graphics Like look at crane's shadow casted by the sun while he's being dragged by the 2 survivors
The whole point to Tower Runners not using guns is because Rais's bandits have all the guns and ammo. Plus Runners mostly rely on parkour and speed than firearms, since firearms attract more infected with every single shot
@Fox-like I've heard some good things about Dyling Light, that's why I'm checking it out. And those are good points you bring up. But could you see how it looks, at face value? At least this scene by itself, taken out of context? If anything, if the game and the writing suberts expectations, in a rewarding manner, that would leave me with a foot burger. I will write everything about this scene with spoilers below : Amir is GRE agent as Crane and he knew about the second agent who will be sent in Harran as he was. So when they came for airdrop, where they were searching for supplies he saw a Crane he probably understood everything in few seconds. Dying light's plot isn't best, but it's good.
The whole Story is kinda bullshit and written by a 5 year old kid. You got a gun, combat outfit and equipment, but no one ask any questions. The first "leader" backs off immediately, everyone trust you because you did something to help them and you even do stupid quests for crazy people, instead of kick in some doors and try to acomplish your mission. :chefkiss: But the game is fun! Just don't listen to the story and the locals.

Then please tell my why he doesn't shoot, when he got surrounded by three guys with clubs, who already threaten you AND hit you, they try to beat the shit out of you. You don't know about the situation and you don't know that loud noises will draw their attention. Ask any special forces guy, no one would even got the chance to surround you. Next thing, why is nobody asking questions. He is definitely not from around and nobody knows him. He got tactical gear equipped, a radio and a gun. And I can go more further inside, like the "Boss", who need the radio for their team and because the story said so, the protagonist will receive it back. Don't try to defend a story, that is already fucked up at the beginning. It's already a lost battle. And don't get me wrong here. The game definitely makes a lot of fun and I like to play it. And I even recommend it for everyone, but not the story.

I love this opening so much! I saw this and knew I have to buy it :) And... I did buy it and it's one of my all time favorite games.
this game was actually more fun than most people used to describe, in my opinion.
It had a good gameplay loop, story never felt too repetitive, and the combat only makes it all the more satisfying!
