if they ever for some reason bring back Makoto they really have to A) make sure its one of the most well written things they ever do to so they don't spit on P3's ending and B) have it set within a similar timeframe to Arena cause it'd be depressing as fuck if a 17 year old Makoto Yuki wakes up and all of his closest friends are 30 💀
I mean a 17 year old Makoto returning to earth and meeting up his 30 year old friends will be a roller coaster of emotions, and that's what persona is all about so
Spoiler ahead I suppose. The way I see it is through Maruki reality. Since its shown in his reality there is no suffering really. I am told Nyx and Erebus answer people's call for death or destruction but in Maruki reality people are happy. Since people are happy Elizabeth can free Makoto and Nyx and Erebus can't do anything.
@@human3504 I mean, I guess? But the entire point of Maruki’s world was that it wasn’t right because of a loss of free will. Maruki’s world posed a big moral question, in which the game’s answer was to reject his world for a world a choice and free will. I feel like, if there is any hope for Makoto Yuki, it would lie in a (hopefully) rewritten version of The Answer in P3R.
I still feel it could work as a permeant solution since the game did give us the moral choice. I will happily buy P3R the Answer to see how or if they know of a way to bring back Makoto without breaking other lore too much.
I feel like she's saying this at 3:37 more to remind herself rather than to inform anyone else, which is absolutely heartbreaking. I wonder how her journey is going.
I don’t think any love story has ever moved me as much as Elizabeth and Makoto: Elizabeth, one of the mysterious Velvet Room attendants and “those who govern power”, left her post and embarked on a journey to save him. This hits me harder than any other act or declaration of love in any other story.
It would go crazy if you play as Elizebeth as the protagonist for p6 or had her as an enemy of the velvet room as she devoted herself to saving makoto.
I love after a minute in..... the key changes to Trinity Souls Memory of you..... I miss that song... such a slept on version Elisabeth deserves so much better. God I love her. Aegis? Who? Never heard of the toaster. Blue dress silly girl FTW!
i see a lot of people actually confuse with this.. Elizabeth mean to free makoto so he can go to after life... because right now makoto souls that seal nyx to prevent it's from coming back..
Honestly in some ways it feels like persona 3 was just a fluke or mistake. Multiple (main) characters die, incredibly dark, you could choose to die in a love interests arms, and has some of the most depressing/emotional social link endings. You wind up being a crutch for characters then die a month or two later. At the end, everybody forgets your bonds, leaves you alone to wither, and then when they finally remember, they dont even get to be with you when you die, roll credits, then answer where multiple characters have an expected breakdown, and in the end only accomplish fighting a shadow of their self hatred. MEANWHILE. Persona 4 chucks deus ex machina over and over to make sure everbodys happy, in golden you defeat and save a god, bring a person back from the dead, bring the person back who saved them, no casualties besides a character on screen for 2 minutes and a joke character. Every other antagonist lives and goes to jail. Supposedly was heavily modified early since dojima, yukiko and yosuke were originally candidates for the villain (dojima having secretly lost his mind after his wifes death etc) and would have made it closer to 3s emotional impact of having major characters/love interests wind up like that. Persona 5 has even less death besides the wild adventures of akechi. It goes from "bad things happen and you have to keep standing" to the power of friendship saves all. Its not because of themes, every single game and spinoff past 3 is happy af in comparison. If they save p3s protag they ought as well make chidori and shinjiro rez canon. Itd even make more sense, since p3 protag has most innate power so far, chidoris flowers returning life and shinjiro having something that blocks a bullet are easy af deus exes in comparison to believing people back to life
And Persona 3 was the first persona game to change gameplay of persona as it is now and iniate the first social links and is the best in the series and animation and stuff and best persona in the series and think if Persona 3 was not there will be no persona 4 and 5. And change the 2d model sprite into 3d model.

Going by Persona 5 Royal there is a way. Hopefully Elizabeth finds another way

Elizabeth with both the fool and a compendium of fully fledged Personas is truly one of the combinations of all time
Elizabeth is the fool that uses a persona compendium of full fledged personas

It would go crazy if you play as Elizebeth as the protagonist for p6 or had her as an enemy of the velvet room as she devoted herself to saving makoto.
We need a persona mainline game that focuses about Elizabeth's Journey and seeing it all come true

Yup, dude's existence was still leaning towards being short anyways.
It's to prevent Erebus from reaching Nyx
It's implied that he will be reborn entirely. His Messiah status alludes to that development.
