being able to do playlists in freeroam solo is gonna make clearing the underground league so much easier when one of the objectives is to complete specific playlists
Or complete 30 races in B tier with X brand to unlock another car.This will be very helpful for unlocking cars.
@@meimphisto damn right, i've been stuck on boost for the last few weeks trying to unlock a fucking Lancer Evo 9 because i was stupid enough to sell the one i got from the campaign and had to complete 20 playlists in another mitsubishi (thank fuck i had access to Melissa's eclipse because i would have hated having to do another 10 playlists to unlock the regular eclipse as well
I sold my hellcat and now I want another one but I didn’t want to do the grind

This game is golden. Whoever got disappointed with it on launch and never had the nerve to play it, they should play it now, it IS worth it!

for real. If they Nail the cops v racers then well... this will easily crown as THE BEST Need for speed since the reboot. Maybe even since hot pursuit (not including remastered)

@@angelserrano9049 Hope u like it bro. Classic fans don't see much value in these new games bc the old ones were as good as it can be, and the new ones don't get much attention/effort from EA. But fun-wise, I assure you this can get close. The pros in online outweight the cons that we had to endure. Story mode still needs some things that were only implemented on online.
@@angelserrano9049 For grinding, stick to boosted lists and linkups, linkups can get boosted xp and money too, the highest I earned from a boosted one was 188.000 credits, it's a LOT.
Criterion still need to fix the Error 9 when uploading and downloading wraps and the glitch when you instantly get heat 5 when you join a server as a escape assist notification pops and you get stuck in cop chases instantly. It doesn't even go away if you return to the garage and come back out you still have Heat level.

BTW the coolest thing they had is one of the admin and one of the moderators in the NFS Discord, Criterion NFS team actually got them their community logo's stickers in the game, which its actually really cool from the devs, HUGE W from the devs
I am actually so happy about the solo playlists it makes the game a thousand times better for low tier cars and challenges❤

Unbound grew on me a lot. My first nfs game was 2015 so I didn’t really grow up on it. None of the newer racing games like the crew or forza really wow me anymore. Unbound is so fun it’s like the perfect mix of realism and arcade
Now they have to make the suspension customisation better, basically giving us the option to lower the car as much as u want to and make the car have better fitment

All we ever needed was this level of consistent post launch support and attention to community feedback. Imagine if this was the treatment we had gotten with something like NFS 2015
I really hope they add Payback superbuild body parts back to cars in some update (and also more blower hoods to muscle cars... it is weird on the new Mustang, but it might look better, let's say, one a '67 Charger)...
I almost didn't buy this game but I still did when I watched you play the game days before vol 7 released. Now it's been a blast playing this game so far. Can't imagine how it was like before these awesome updates tho. Must have been painful. 😆
3:22 pre-patch, you can avoid creeping forward by just holding down handbrake during the burnout. I did that all the time when I used the Lotus Exige to play relatively fairly, especially in a lobby without an Exige player. Still works post-patch ofc, but it's unnecessary now.

A little late to this video, but now I can peacefully grind my way to get (almost) all cars available for purchase in Lakeshore Online. And I haven't even gotten all the ones you could get in Tier B yet, and these Meetup events take like 6 minutes to complete at the minimum. Yes, I counted.
As a nocturnal player, I do sometimes stream progress on my Twitch channel.

When you choose a playlist type it often puts you in a different type if it can’t find one quick enough
I really hope criterion finds a way the increase wrap limit.... We can't have the wrap limit being at 100 in the next game...
Or this game for that matter...im pretty sure that has something to do with the corrupt save files or it could be the amount of cars in the garage..in either case it's a huge oversight

I needed this update last week to complete challenges to get the EVO for the List. It told me two weeks to completed 20 playlists.
MY FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM WITH ALL RECENT NEED FOR SPEED GAMES, IS THE INABILITY TO CUSTOM MAP YOUR BUTTON LAYOUT, ESPECIALLY FOR MANUAL CONTROLS! NFS GAMES FROM 20 YEARS AGO HAD THIS FEATURE FFS!!
Surprisingly getting back to NFS after 2015 and before more than 20 years now made me smile again. They should update the game story with more characters not like those ones looking like local dealers from the ghetto streets.
Now I'm interested In their next NFS game, unbound support and listening to the fans is so far so good.
All we need is for the hot pursuit inspired updates to ramp up police difficulty and im satisfied
Recently got back into playing unbound, I thought it was going to remain dead similar to 2015, payback and heat but I’m so glad they’ve been updating and supporting the game. At this point I’d rather they continued and just did an expansion as every time we get a new game it’s a step forward and 2 back. Regardless, the game is now in a truly great state and with the ability to complete races solo, we can now progress through the multiplayer part of the game uninhibited.
I was very cautious about this game when I bought it but iv got to admit iv been extremely happy how they have kept making it better and when the next one up iim going back to preordering need for speed again
This is amazing But we really need A.I as well for solo racing ssooo badly

@@Ivan-b5c3k I don't know if you realized but cars are VERY unbalanced in that game so just shifting doesn't do anything the nos would mean you actually have to try and defend your position

As someone who had no interest in this game at launch, seeing where its at now actually makes me want to get it, props to the Criterion team
They could combind progress from online to singleplayer mode after you played the entire story and then also give you all the drag and drift events

A quality of life change i would love to see is having race invites specify what kind of race they are. Like an invite for a drag, drift etc

The drifting is broken because the chain doesn’t go higher than 4 and it’s killing scores. I was getting 10-20 chains in a short race and double that amount in the endurance races
The drift chaining is still broken but overall this is a great patch

While I'm here I'll ask if anybody is having issues with customizing the S2000? There was some bugs I encountered for visual upgrades that I was able to figure out and get around. But there was also issues with Performance upgrades as well. Specifically showing up as "all tire" upgrades. I don't know if anyone has experience this before and it could just be an issue on my end.

Now we need there to be at least 1 boosted event in free roam(not linkup) at all times with it randomly switching. Seems like an easy thing to do and it would make pvp with stock cars useless though

Idk if it’s just me, but I wish we could put the hero car body kits on normal cars. For example, I really like the body kit on eddies skyline accept for the spoiler, I like mine tall and wide. lol. Wish I could put that body kit on the normal skyline and change the spoiler, or at least be able to change the body on the hero cars besides the wheels.
I hope they fix the single player story mode structure. After you finish the story it would be nice to just have every race available to choose from and also not have the calendar schedule and be able to go to garage and not progress time but select day or night like in heat. I also hope they add the new event types to single player too like drift and drag. I still have to finish the story mode. I actually don’t like it at all but aside from the story structure.. it better than Heat in my opinion. The drifting is also better in unbound! I hope this game isn’t done anytime soon!!

I hated it on launch but I came back after I seen vol.7 had a Underground theme. & man the game has been improved so much I actually enjoy it now just wish the cops would be more challenging so hopefully vol. 8 fixes it if not still cool to drive a cop car if the rumors are true
