we love this channel. Beautiful skating, and a great material of study for those who can not take dance lessons in our country. (we dont have ice dancing in argentina). thanks oleg and kseniya!
my coach says that when I do the slide chasse that I need to keep my free leg in the same spot and not kick it up too much (just bend from the knee)... is that just style preference or something that really I should be more careful about?
Betsy Bohuslavsky The dances usually allow for personal interpretation of the free foot. Though there are places where the dance is really specific such as the Cha Cha (which I am editing now). So yes that is mostly a style preference, though you should stick to your coach's style.
