We can't talk ourselves out of the truth we see when watching Tyrese play. He is not who we say he can be. He is what he is. A good IQ point guard that is not always locked in on his offensive game. The three players I see as our primary players are Pascal, Benn Mathurin and Jarace Walker. These guys, are only ceiling lifters. Unless Tyrese somehow, either gets healthy, or his mentality to be the guy and he stops being hesitant... Our offensive identity is built around his pace. Well, he is not being that guy. So that is a big issue. I'm not happy sharing these thoughts...lol. I want Tyrese to excel. But I don't see him suddenly correcting all that is wrong with his game. It sucks.

I think he’s not who they say he is because he’s clearly been hurt. His back seems to effect his game and then mentality.

Putting Mathurin and Walker above Haliburton is ridiculous.

I'm frustrated with what is going on with Tyrese. My take was made out of frustration. If haliburton is dealing with a back thing, it would be nice to hear them say that. But I hold my ground on Mathurin and Walker. Hali urton is an elite passer and high IQ. But he is injury prone man. I hope he proves me wrong and performs like a $ 45,000,000 player. We will see

Is there something going on with teammates not getting the ball to Pascal??? This game was horrible. Pascal was hot hot, and when he came back in they didn't get the ball to him. They were up by double digits when he left the game, and when he returned, the lead had dwindled to almost nothing. To make things worse, they don't get to their hottest player. Disgusting!!! There was NO reason for them to lose this game. Do other players not see Siakam's value??? I am really starting to question what is TRULY going on here??!!!

I see now that my native New Yorker, my high flying homey of The CAGE basketball playground has been allocated to ride the pine. For the first time of being a fan of Obi, I realize why this has happened. He is just happy to be in the NBA. He does not have any drive to be great! As a Knick fan, he reminds of Hubert Davis, when he wore the Knicks uniform. Same persona: Just happy to be in the NBA. This is a disappointment for me, because I felt he would soar high with your point Gawd! But, as I saw him stand in the corner in a thibbadow offensive scheme with your team, as I saw him pass up shots and be passive, as I saw not aggressively rebounding the pill on either end of the floor last year, I was hoping he would test the free agency market or ask for a release. He didn't. Its over for Obi, he will never become the star that he was on the playgrounds of New York, or when he was in college. Its a sad day for me. I cheered him through his time under the coach voted the worst by NBA players 3 years in a row. But, now I have nothing to say in his defense. Stay happy, Obi

  • @warlockmagic3416

I can say why, because they gutted this team and Hali is completely MIA. I once thought he was better than LaMelo. Was the first half of last year. LaMelo now has taken his game to another level. He's a wayyy better shooter. He has a fast release and can shoot without being set. Dude is amazing.. and they have Miller, Bridges, Richards and Mann.. Solid core right there... They continue to build around those guy's and they will be a great team soon.

Tony knows the sport, but he displays ownership bias in his commentary. The Pacers are not more talented than the Hornets, but it’s up to the Hornets to stand on business and prove me right. Tony mentioned, the Hornets own the Pacers over the last 4-5 games so they deserve more respect. I realize the Hornets have been terrible for a decade, but I do know what talent looks like; Ball’s health & Millers continued ascent will change perceptions this season.
