Mark, I would like you to know that you are who introduced me to PAA. I've made 2 different orders and am waiting for them to arrive. This brush is one of the many things I ordered. I can't wait to try their products. I usually tend to stick to old, traditional, English products although I do like Tabac. My wife says it smells like old lady baby powder! But I'm very excited about this company and will be sorely disappointed if I don't like their products. Your video on their cubes was the first I heard of them. I ordered 2 different cubes with the docks and am quite excited! You now have a new subscriber!
Hi Mark, Just received my Atomic Rocket and used it today. I love it! Feels great in hand when lathering (I prefer to bowl lather), nice and soft on the face and head, and it whipped up a luxurious lather in no time flat! I had an excellent shave! I’m gonna have to do a lather face off with the Atomic Rocket and the Star Wisp, (I can’t tell which I like more currently)! Gear used today was: the Atomic Rocket of course Pacific Shaving Company All Natural Shaving Cream My Muhle Rocca for (head & face) and my Muhle R106 (for shaving around my ears and my ears themselves) Both razors were loaded with Gillette Nacet Blades (I have the Phantom Aerolite on the way, so who knows who will win the spot of favorite brush)! Good day to you and all the other wet-shaving gents out there!
James, thaks for the great breakdown on your new Atomic Rocket brush. I've used the naturla have cream from Pacific Shaving company and the Atomic Rocket will definitely do a great job in whipping up that lather. You used a really nice set p of gear. All the PAA brushes are great, and each has its own strength, IMHO. 🙂👍
Mark, no problem, and thank you. I bought the Pacific Shaving Cream after watching your video, and seeing how much you enjoyed it. I prefer to use natural shaving products. You’d be surprised how fluffy it gets in a bowl with a good brush! I really like shaving soaps, now that I have good brushes, they make all the difference! I started with a cheap badger brush and smooth bottom bowl, I had a lot of trouble achieving a stable lather. After watching videos of yours and other gents, I discovered the PAA brushes and slow feed dog bowls, that was the game-changer right there! I no longer struggle to get a good lather and I get it quickly with the mighty PAA brushes, all without spending a fortune! The Muhle Rocca is a truly marvelous razor, and my #1 pick for one person for wants only one razor for the rest of their life. IMO, it’s the perfect combination of aggressiveness, maneuverability, grip and durability. I own too many razors, but the only way to learn a lot of razor/blade combos is to try it. As they say, you have to bust some eggs to make an omelette! 😂I’ve learned so much in last 2 years! They also make great decorations with their elegant looks, I’ll eventually make some type of display to keep the ones I’m not using in.
Received my Atomic Rocket brush just over a week ago and love it for my head shave. You are the reason I order and got this brush thanks for the videos. Please do more head shaves😀😀😀
Apenas acabo de desempacar mi Atomic Rocket Shave Brush y de usarla esta mañana pero estoy FASCINADO. ¡Toda una superbrocha o un brochón gigante y magnífico! Hi, IlShamali.:) Oh man. Sorry to hear about the delivery lag. Wish I could offer a solution. I'm curious now to look at my packaging and see how mine was delivered.
Wow Mark, is yr profession 'sales'. Y speak so convincing... mny wud buy fm you! Well, yr DOC razor looks nice, but intimitating... Cheers.
Thanks very much, Achim Kohlhage!:) I appreciate the compliments.:) the Doc razor looks more aggressive than it is.:) It is efficient.:) it does capture lather for a little bit of buffing, but Iuse this feature sparingly.:)
Hey Mark. Mine just arrived a few days ago and I am looking forward to shaving with it. My grandfather used to shave with an identically colored Eveready. I am loving all of my PAA wet shaving products!
Ah yes, the Atomic Rocket. I love mine. PAA makes great shave brushes. Hell, everything they make is great. Wait until you start using their soaps and aftershaves. Have a great day!!!
@@MarkSzorady I have way, way too many of their soaps, confirmed by my wife, lol. Some of their best are Gondolier, John Frum, any of the Doppelgangers, and Et Tu, which is a take on Brut, which I love. Cold Spices, which is their take on Old Spice, is amazing too, as I'm on my 3rd tub of that currently. They really are world class products, and will put a smile on your face once you feel the quality of product you're using. Have a great day!!!

Hi Mark- Great shave and brush review; thank you! A very nice-looking brush. I’ll check-out the DOC razor; I enjoyed hearing your thoughts about it, as all of the various DOC-type razors look a bit intimidating and my experiences with open comb razors to date has not been very good. I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend. Please take good care; be safe and be well! Best regards, as always!
Thanks, Mike.:) It's not intimidating. However, the first time around with the original SLOC, I found that the self-lathering feature left behind a little less that I anticipated. This resulted in a small bit of irritation. Nothing major. I simply adjusted my shave the next time around and got a really nice result. Now knowing this, with the Doc, I get a wonderfully close shaves that are irritation free.:) Yes, stay safe!:)
