My take on what happened....
2002 Eminem released Superman. This was supposed to be with Mariah Carey. You know the one suffering a career slide in 2001/2002 from her flop Glitter and not so great album sales from Charm Bracelet. How do you get yourself back up......? Attach to a hot on top of the game artist. In this case Eminem. Eminem does not like being played like that. And if they were involved......there is a possibility he was trying to get with her, and she was simply using him for the pick me up. One of the first "clout chasers"
He figured this out, and shut her off the single, and she went out and about to say they were never together. She did not see success again until 2005 (Emancipation of Mimi) and this maintained until she released the album with Obsessed (2009)
A little history of Eminem at this time. He had barely come off a 3+ year musical hiatus. Proof had passed the 2 years before. He almost died from an overdose the year before. He was trying to bring himself, and to a lesser degree "Shady" back. I hear his sarcastic tones in Bagpipes. She clearly did not. And this was what she decided to do. And if she was lying again....now it is immortalized on video. One good slap deserves a.....sledge hammer.....?

She has said NOTHING since "The Warning" was released. That is almost as telling as speaking about it. Particularly the shit we do know about her and Cannon's now failed relationship.

All you have to do to understand this is watch 8 mile at the ending battle. Three things: one: he's getting into a battle with someone that has potentially embarssing info on him i.e. premature ejaculation, the time he had to wait ect so by him saying it it takes away her ability to use it against him later because his response is going to be "yeah I already said that". Two: The fact that it is embarrassing lends credibility to his statement because who is going to say that about themselves if it isn't true? and Three: Em does not and has never given a single fuck. When he disses he goes for the throat no matter what that means for himself, in this case it meant revealing some info others might have kept to themselves because they would perceive it as "taking an L", but that's exactly why he didn't. Mariah said not one word after this about the subject as far as I'm aware and that is a win.
