I keep the files on the SSD and add the FCP X or Pr project files into that main project folder. I then edit off of the SSD and then I copy all of the files (NLE project files and video files) to another large drive; 8 or 12TB raid drive, after the editing is done. Once that is complete I usually delete the files off of the SSD(s) and continue using the SSD forum coming projects the remainder of the year. I keep the original video files o the Lacie drive long term.
do you delete the files after awhile or just keep buying drives?

@@42Pros Go idea to free up the SSD. The Lacie are cheaper for long term. Some files I have also left on the SD cards.
