Good. Rick was never supposed to be an overpowered anime character. He has the potential, but often is too drunk or just doesn’t care enough. Season 1 Rick is a perfect example.
I’d say it’s probably a different rick or if it’s c137 he’s stopped caring so much about dying and he’s going back to how he used to be in the first seasons where he just let whatever wants to happen happen

I think this episode confirms that we've been following two different Smith families. The one that we've been following since the beginning, and Evil Morty's family. Before planning the Turkey Trick, Jerry asks Rick "Jesus how many times have you done that?" And Rick says, "I don't know, how many year have I been here? *Careful how you answer that!*" Rick looks completely sincere when he tells Jerry to be careful about what he says next. I think it's because Jerry's answer would let us know whether the Rick we're watching has been there for just a few years, or if this is a Rick who's been with the Smith family for Morty's whole life. That also might be why Rick sometimes seems less powerful and experienced than usual.
I did find that comment from Rick unusual. It wasn’t a sarcastic reply like he’d usually make. Plus the Morty this season is a lot more jaded and worn-down. He’s quick to anger, too (although maybe he’s tired of Rick’s shenanigans). Remember in Season 2 when the Jerry’s are switched at the Jerry Day Care? This could have been a one-off joke but it’s possible we’ve been following a different Smith family ever since (or for this season).

Also, the line about NY being able do deal by itself any disaster I suppose is a direct reference to the fact that in every superhero/sci-fi/action movie (especially Marvel) NY is the target 🤣🤣

funny thing about the shot that destroyed the lincoln memorial, liberty bell, and statue of liberty is that there's no straight shot from the national archives to the statue of liberty that hits all those targets. From the archives, you need to go west to get to the lincoln memorial, but then head north east to get to the liberty bell and then change your vector by about 10 degrees to the north to get to the statue. So the beam, assuming it traveled in a straight line, couldn't possibly have hit all those in one shot
a little extra feature (they showed after this episode) the creators where to tired after recreated that fight scene and drawing so many turkeys, none of them ever want to draw another turkey for a good while lol
