The book cover of The Outsiders shown in the thumbnail reminded me of a time in High School when my English teacher {who was also a Theatre Teacher} let us read The Outsiders {a book that was disputed as too "r rated" in my special ed classes but goddamn I was happy enough to read something that wasn't a 4 page picture book. Anyway the book and my teacher is what inspired me to start writing plays of my own which I hold dearly to this day. On my final day of school my English / Theatre teacher hands me the copy of the Outsiders and on the front page he wrote 'To our Ponyboy who encouraged everyone in class to be themselves and to never lose that small talent of writing plays'. {There was more but those words stuck with me even into my early adulthood} I fuckin' bawled my eyes out and now I want to give back to him as he and Sondheim helped this depressed kid write some decently nice stories.
I've been bingeing Call Me Cherry and Call Me Emma and I just wanna say your videos are very inspiring! They way you and the cast are always encouraging people to follow their dreams, no matter how big, is such a beautiful and encouraging thing! ❤️💗

I’m a part of a small theater company called Serendipity in southern Georgia and we just had a theater camp this week where I got to play Cherry Valance and now I get to come see you play Cherry Valance in The Outsiders on Friday and it’s just a dream come true!!!😁
