I’ve never used any of the previous versions of the softstep. I really like this one though. One thing of note is that after using the controller for about 5 weeks the bottom row of buttons started malfunctioning. Sweetwater replaced it with no complications but it does worry me that it had issues so soon after getting it. I’m hoping it was a freak thing and this one lasts for a long time. I had to use my old setup for my last couple shows so I’m glad I still had some old rigs that I didn’t get rid of.
So what do you think of it? Is version three better than version two?
