I'm definitely lonely and just like sleeping with something. I had a cat who used to sleep with me but not often, and after he passed away I found myself hugging more on my stuffed animals. normalize it, fight me
It's actually funny because I actually started sleeping with stuffed animals as an adult pretty much. As a child, I just had them around me in bed, but when I was 21 maybe, a certain coincidence made me and my two best friends each buy the same stuffed raccoon. So that's when I started sleeping cuddling that stuffed raccoon.
I actually have a cat pillow, shaped like a mini sausage shape cat I hug when I sleep and it gives me the best sleep because since I was a child I had a cat who slept with me in my bed. If anybody tells me its weird, that's their loss. I bet my sleep is better than theirs. Edit: I didn't sleep with stuffed animals until I became an adult and I no longer had my cat.
I (19 almost 20F) have had a stuffed animal that was given to me before I was even born. I sleep with her every single night. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it, especially considering our cats aren’t allowed in our rooms at night (or most of the house for that matter).
I was gonna say "watch out Cristine, Ben is rocking the Dad 'stache" but I guess it's actually meant to function as a disguise after all the billboards
Maleficent is a kind of "villain wins" movie, where Maleficent who is traditionally the villain is shown in a different light, and she "wins" in the end.
i thought it was so great that maleficent was their sleeping beauty remake because it was actually so creative/reinventive vs just recycling the same story!! not to say that the cinderella remake was a boring knockoff or something it’s actually one of my favorite movies! they really couldn’t do another sleeping beauty remake cuz it just wouldn’t measure up at this point 😅
As someone who gets migraines I'm honestly way more annoyed at people telling you what you have is not a migraine just because your experience is different than theirs, than people saying they have a migraine when they really just mean a headache lol
Thanks you. I've never experienced this prejudice personally but definitely fear the scenario concidering I suffer from some pretty bad migraines myself.
Also the idea that bc someone isn't incapacitated they aren't having a migraine is so far off. My migraines range from less pain than a normal headache to 10x worse, but there are consistent symptoms that make them migraines. But after years of having them and a few birth control switches, most are just an annoyance.
Yes!! I find it more annoying when people tell me that I'm "overreacting" or that "its just a headache" than if someone calls their headache a migraine.
Yes! I've suffered from migraines monthly for about 7 years now. They're actually increasing in severity and frequency as I get older (and they'll occasionally pair with my period), but because I've had them since middle school I've had to learn how to work with them because I didn't actually realize that they were migraines until high school and teachers and coaches don't accept "I have a really bad headache" as an excuse for lack of focus or trying to limit movement. As a result of sort of working through them (which will occasionally result in throwing up), I sort of just deal with them while continuing my daily activities, though perhaps with less vigor or energy, so I don't seem debilitated, but I am in much more pain than I might let on.
Yeah, like I knew people who literally had actual emotional support animals in college so stuffed animals are just a toned down version of that. You don't have to take care of them or buy them things lol
In sixth grade I knew a girl who had to literally bend backwards to walk and stand because she was already MASSIVE. She said that she would have to wait until she was 16 to even start talking about a reduction. I never knew if she ever actually was able to get a reduction or anything... I hope she was.
Lol we need a Big and Tall store but for women.... like Big and Busty. So tired of shirts fitting perfectly in waist, hips, but then stretched at the top
I need to join to this converstation (9 months late:D) because I feel like women who would like to have smaller boobs usually say they'd go for B-cup, and I still consider that to be "big". No one would ever go to these reaaaally small boobs like A or AA cups, but for an average size boobs. So people still would wish to have some size for their boobs, and hence I can't say having "big boobs" is overrated, if you'd go foor boobs some girls still consider big or bigger. 🤔
@@Suussa this!!! Totally agree. Big breasted women still want cleavage but not the back problems, etc. that comes with it so they opt for the "smallest" they can go. So not really uncommon
Not being able to wear anything strapless(seriously I cant stand having to pull up my bra and or top/dress constantly because it keeps slipping..and clear bra straps hurt)
I think the "You're perfect the way you are" is a really important message when taken in context. I RARELY hear this statement in context of things like skills and health. My friend's daughter is perfect the way it is... kinky curls and all and that's a message she needs to hear because society does pressure people with hair like hers to straighten it to... look more ideal.
Yeah context for it is very important. When it comes to something physical it makes sense and is ok. However when it comes to things like health and mental state and just overall personality, there is no “perfect the way you are”. You can always better yourself mentally, health wise, personality.
@@CheshieD that’s actually really toxic for a lot of people. That mentality is what keeps toxic diet culture in business. I’m a huge advocate of metabolic and mental health over appearance & perfect social skills but so many would say, “Do Better” which completely negates any progress already made and undermines future progress.
@@Chaotic_Pixie if you read what I said that’s exactly what I’m saying. The only things that’s not perfect, and never will be, is your mentality, it’s always growing and evolving and you can always be a better person. You can’t just perfect your body, it’s impossible. The “you’re perfect the way you are” works in those situations. Because you can’t change your looks to be perfect, because it doesn’t exist. There is no perfect body.

When I get migraines, they usually start as a "normal" bad headache, and then slowly transition and get worse until I'm crying and can't be around other human persons or lights anymore.
Same I get normal headaches like everyone, but before and during my period I get migraines. and they start as a headache and then I remember I’m on my period and I’m like oh no this is gonna turn into a migraine this is gonna be bad.
Same. I also have a bad habit of not doing anything about it, like taking meds or eating food, until I’m in so much pain I’m crying and snapping at people as I writhe in my chair.
This is me too. I start off feeling much discomfort and keeps on figuring out whats wrong and then realizes i have a headache that's getting worse, and then it gets worse but clearer, that by the time i know it, welp a migraine
I feel like nowadays having plushies as an adult isn't considered super weird, especially for women. I've always had plushies since childhood and still do as an adult. And I know quite a few people, both in my generation and my parents' generation, who lowkey collect plushies and have them if not in bed then at least as decorations in their rooms etc.
Yeah it was kind of grating on my nerves that they were making fun of this. Like it seems like they're only hesitant to say their opinions on things when it's protecting people with harmful beliefs, but they have no problem low-key making fun of normal everyday people who are just tryna live their life.
@@chloekoons5644 It's still objectively weird to sleep with stuffed animals. It doesn't harm anyone so it's fine, but... if you're about to show someone your bedroom for the first time... It's a good idea to hide the stuffed animals until you know them a bit better.

Grown, married adult... still sleep with a stuffed bear and my childhood one on my nightstand (he's very delicate). Normalize healthy coping behaviors. I used to be terrified of the dark as a child or rooms that are too quiet or being alone. Having a teddy bear makes me not feel alone. Yes, I have cats. No they won't let me cuddle them. Yes, there's a difference between cuddling a small teddy bear and being cuddled as a small teddy bear by another human.
I relate to your comment very much!um a 34 yr old lady who lives with my boyfriend and I sleep with m childhood bear on top of the lid of my hamper, which is directly beside my nightstand on my side of the bed. That teddy has seen way too much stuff in its life, I remember it as a child in really warm memories and also clutching it sobbing as a teenager and adult during some really horrible times. Now when I look at it, it is both a source of comfort and a warm reminder of my family I literally want to be buried with that bear
I'm only 18 but I sleep with a big stuffed sloth all the time, it makes me feel safe and not lonely, also helps when my chronic pain hits, and when it's summer or too hot I use my childhood stuffed puppy. I don't think we should feel embarrassed at all
26yo who still sleeps with a teddy bear here, at this point he is basically a glorified pillow lol but he fits perfectly in my neck/elbow when I’m in bed and it’s very cozy/comforting!
Everyone in my life who I've seen sleep (except my mom) ends up cuddling with any pillow, stuffed animal, or even lump of clothing that's around. Y'all remember that experiment with the baby monkey to see if he would go to the robot monkey with milk or the robot monkey with fake fur he could cuddle? Bro chose the cuddles. Mammal like cuddles lol
I sleep with a perfumed small towel that I cuddle when I'm falling asleep, and I put it over my eyes so that the early morning light doesn't bother me. My partner at the time has never minded at all.
I agree about the perfect thing. I think when people say “you’re perfect the way you are” what they mean is “you’re enough and you have inherent value as a human being and you don’t have to change anything about yourself to retain that value” not “you are literally a perfect human being” and that criticism was kind of taking the phrase in bad faith.
I agree, but I also think it's a faulty phrase that absolutely could be damaging, especially if someone has flaws they are hyped aware of. It just makes it feel like ppl are lying to you. Context matters. Personally, I despise the phrase, but the take that person had is very simplistic and unnecessarily negative.
Y’all did a good job handling the migraine question. One reason migraine isn’t well enough understood is that it’s a disease that affects a greater percentage of women than men (cue years of stigma and underfunded research). Migraine is a complex neurological disease - it helps communicate the scope of it by referring to “migraine attacks” instead of “migraines.” Luckily there have been a bunch of new treatment options to come on the market in the past couple of years, so things are looking up for us migraineurs. ❤️
I'm a smoker, and used to live in an apartment building where it was legal to smoke in the balcony and in the unit. I chose not to because I understand the adverse health effects of smoking. What I put in my body is my own choice and addiction, the last thing I want is to subject others to it. So I would smoke where people put their trash, or go for a walk. I also absolutely refuse to smoke around children, in parks or walking down the street. I also carry a little zip lock to so I can dispose of my butts in a way where dogs or children won't have access to them. As for patches or nicotine gum, it can be effective for some people. Most of the people in my life, including myself have found that it's very difficult to quit with those things, because cigarettes tend to be mentally as addictive as physically, the act of smoking is almost ritualised. After food of waking up are the hardest. I think the middle ground is that smoking should be treated as an addiction, it should not be criminalised because that has proven to be ineffective. People who smoke should be conscientious about their impact on others. Such as the social impact, I do my best to keep my clothes washed, my breath fresh and my hands clean. But in the end there's no judgement from me if someone doesn't want to interact with me because I smoke. But I also don't think it's something that people should shout from the rooftops in the sense of calling me disgusting. It doesn't change a lot, and it makes it hard to have an open dialogue about my issue when people are telling me I'm gross. As for laws, I absolutely agree that smoking should be banned in apartment buildings and indoors, no exceptions. I also think it should be heavily restricted where children are present and in public spaces like train stations and parks. I also fervently dislike people who litter, but am unsure as to how to combat that issue.
Fun fact: neurologically migraines are distinct from headaches. I get so many more symptoms than my head hurting. Constantly hungry, thirsty and tired. Language and motor aura too. Sometimes I get horrible pain too, but they just feel totally different.
Yeah, I remember looking it up, trying to figure out if my headache was really a headache or if it qualified as a migraine. I found that sensitivity to light is a major symptom of migraines--but I have often experienced that in a minor way. It's not fun, but most migraines I have experienced are not debilitating. But I guess I understand what she's saying. It feel a lot less inclined to physically do anything when doing makes the pain worse, but I am lucky in that it is, most often, bearable. I haven't paid attention to whether I experience symptoms like that, though
I honestly love that my boss lets me take days off when I have migraines because just everything is awful. For me it feels like someone is actively stabbing my eyes, ripping my eardrums, and drilling a hole in my scalp/neck. I also get headaches but I can just change gears and come back to complex work if i get a headache. Can't do that for migraines either I sleep or I die.
Yes! I’ve had a few times where my migraines have caused heightened dizziness, anxiety, inability to rationally think, and even blindness!! The blindness is the scariest. My headaches however just hurt and slightly make me grumpy, and are way easier to tame down.
Cristine your holo taco team is amazing. Both warehouse and customer service. I am a medical professional with a background in business management and I am continually impressed with how your energy transfers to those around you. Keep being an amazing person and your fans and holo teams will always follow you gladly.
As a smoker myself I can say that most who do it feel shame and disgust doing it, but it doesn’t deter us because yes there are addiction issues there. I personally started as an act of self harm and the idea that it would shorten my life was a positive.
My boyfriend has expressed that he feels this way a few times, only when he was drinking and feeling particularly sad. I hope he stops smoking one day but I'm not sure what will get him there.
Smoking actually was completely banned from my apartment complex (in the states) because someone dropped a cigarette in some landscaping a few years back and actually set one of the buildings on fire. You had to be X feet away from the building to smoke in our lease.
When I first met my boyfriend at university (we were 18) he joked about the fact I had a stuffed animal and was quite shocked about it. 5 years later he steals it from me every night!

I'm so early that my podcast idea might even stand a chance of being noticed! I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool to do a podcast on ancestry? Where you guys' ancestors came from, what countries your relatives have lived in, what you think of those silly, inaccurate, information-stealing ancestry tests, etc. Obviously I just want to know if Cristine's last name is Dutch or German HAHA. Happy Taco Tuesday and greetings from the Netherlands!
I love this idea! I would be interested to see if Ben has Polish ancestry because his last name sounds very Polish. And they could bring in Jen and Matt!
If you can find the right size/shape of stuffed animal, it's fantastic as both a body pillow and comfort snuggler. I have both a body pillow and a giant stuffed Appa from ATLA that I use as a body pillow so I can sleep on either side. His head is the perfect size to support my arms, and he's just the right length so his tail sits between my knees so my hips don't get wonky when I sleep! My husband usually gets up about an hour before I do, and he always just puts Appa next to me when he leaves and it works out fantastically.
My husband and I both use a certain style of squishmallows to sleep with because it keeps are arms/bodies in place while sleeping. They prevent old people problems 😅
I am 20 and I sleep with stuffed animals 🤷🏽♀️ I need to hug or lay on something to sleep because I get chest pain and it helps to have that support as I sleep. If i’m somewhere else and don’t have a giant stuffed animal, i’ll use pillows/hoodies/blankets etc. but tbh even if you don’t have sleep problems, it’s just comfy!
I’m 27 and still sleep with a stuffed animal 🤷🏻♀️ 100% agree with you Bianca! I don’t get chest pain but I do get horrible pain/cramp/pins & needles in my arms and hands if I sleep without it.
My stuffed animal helps keep my posture straight, I have a hard time with that because my large chest. Need something to hug to keep my shoulders collapsing
when i was in the 7th grade my aunt stole my mickey mouse (the one my dad gave me when i was 4) and said that “i’m too old to sleep with a stuffed toy” WHILE I WAS ASLEEP and lied to me saying she threw it away. i found it a year later in her room in her SHELF full of stuffed toys and when i confronted her she laughed and said “oh i was just kidding” that stuffed toy was my safety blanket that helped with my anxiety during tough times.
I definitely agree with Ben when he said he doesn’t want Amazon to be the only place he can buy a book in the future. So many book stores are going out of business. Book stores are important. 😭
I love the "confession" of the person who likes to get their sleeves wet! It's cute and I have my own weird sensations that I enjoy feeling, so I can relate. I think that people should be sharing stuff like that more :)
That guy can't police whether someone has "real" migraines based on the pain level. Personally, my migraines do not normally present with a headache! I just get the aura, which can interfere with my ability to function because you know... blind.
Yeah. I take medicine which skips me over the attack and just gives me the postdrome. So if i take it in time I usually just get body aches, nausea, brain fog, and vascular effects like heart palpitations, rapid blood pressure changes, hot flashes, and chills. But that can still be debilitating like you can’t go run errands or anything because you can’t drive with brain fog and not knowing if your bp will suddenly drop. And you can’t focus on anything. And can’t eat because you’re nauseous. And are sore all over from head to toe from the cytokines and are really just exhausted. It sucks. Dude doesn’t know what he’s talking about. My neurologist calls it a migraine it’s a migraine. This dude doesn’t have a medical degree he can go to hell.
I get very similar migraines! I lose my vision for a bit and then I'm really sensitive to light when it comes back and I normally do get slight pain but for me the pain is not the worst part it's everything else!
I'm not sure if I get an aura but my eyesight definitely gets blurry, it's so weird. I can literally feel that my blood vessels around my eyes are constricting and that is probably what causes the disrupted vision.
That Migraine post is annoying. I have severe Migraines, diagnosed by a neurologist. If someone says they are having a Migraine then who are we to say they don't? I've had to work through Migraines in a Kitchen, it's possible. I've had to come home and collapse onto a tile floor in a dark room and just not move for the rest of the day. Sometimes you HAVE to work, no matter what, I don't have unlimited sick time at work and bills have to get paid.
i have a major anxiety disorder and so i’ll hug a stuffed animal to calm down so i was worried when that question came up but i’m glad they didn’t say it was dumb! generally theyre very good at not judging too harshly and it makes this so much more enjoyable
Hubby is 39 and he (we now lol) have a skelaniaml (Jax) that we sleep with. I'm beyond over the stupid social expectations and stigmas of what's "appropriate" for adults. If you can hold down a job and pay your bills, nothing else should matter as far as "adulting." Especially since you don't know what that person has gone through in life and why they chose to do things - like sleep with a stuffed animal. Same thing with things like, being afraid of the dark. He saw something horrifying when he was in tech school, so we've also got a night light and have to keep the door only barely cracked, or he can't sleep.
She really should! I totally agree with her about the fight scenes. I love the movies but I tend to zone out during the "action scenes". I just care about the story! I believe that the only movie I haven't seen yet is Black Panther because my boyfriend hasn't been "in the mood" to watch it yet and I "have to" wait for him. lol
I love how Ben almost seemed "into" nail polish at the beginning when Cristine asked what he was wearing. I know he said he only wears nail polish to be a tester/supportive of the brand, but I'm starting to think he low key likes the look of the holo

I didn’t realize how much people saying they have a migraine when they don’t actually have a migraine annoys me until right now. My migraines cause me to feel like my head is imploding when I see light or hear sound (as well as the usual stuff - shaking, chills, nausea, etc.) meaning I usually end up locking myself in the bathroom because it’s the only room without a window, and light and sound still cause excruciating pain for 2-4 days after. And as a student currently attending Zoom University, not being able to look at screens because the light hurts, and not being able to write out my HW (due to my hands shaking) for up to 6 days is VERY inconvenient. I understand I probably have worse migraines than most people, but if you don’t have a migraine then don’t say you’re having a migraine because that will cause people who have migraines to not be taken as seriously when we have one.
I agree; I don’t really experience headaches, but my friend gets bad migraines - they make her cry, throw up and she has to sleep with blackout curtains to be in complete darkness
Thank god the medication I take just skips me to the postdrome but if I don’t take it in time a migraine can leave me in bed for hours just curled up in pain. I also get vascular effects with or without meds, like heart palpitations, rapid changes in blood pressure, hot flashes, and chills. And of course the nausea. I’m just grateful I grew out of abdominal migraines. Those were definitely worse. Pain of a migraine in your stomach with uncontrolled vomiting every few minutes despite not having eaten in hours? No thanks! I’ve had a broken bone that was less painful. Wisdom tooth surgery was less painful. I’ll stick with the generic migraines!
One time I missed a day of work because I had a migraine. One of the bosses said "oh yeah I get those. I just take a couple of Advils and 30 minutes later I'm good to go. That was no excuse to miss the whole day." Pissed me off. Like ok excuse me but you're probably talking about a very minor headache and you don't get to pretend to be a medical professional who is familiar with my medical history.
I love that you guys mentioned how smoking doesn't just effect the smoker! I am highly sensitive to cigarette smoke and think it's ridiculous that the guy in the apartment above me can smoke all he wants and I have to smell it in my apartment. I even had an apartment that said "no smoking" in the lease and yet the people above me were allowed to smoke. I entered an agreement with the assumption that my space would be smoke free, but it wasn't. I agree with almost everything Ben said about this topic!
I’m a smoker and I’ve always kept as a rule for myself to never smoke around anyone who doesn’t smoke. Like if I’m with non-smoking friends or family, I won’t smoke
One of the best protagonist/antagonist stories that I can think of is from Anime "Death Note" it is a classic at this point. But watching the story and seeing how the main character protagonist is slowly changing to the evil side just by staying true to his motives was amazing. I need to re-watch it.
There were some episodes in Bones where they never found the bad guy, even as the most incredible forensic science team. They also had a few different reoccurring bad guys. From a serial killer who buried people alive to a tech genius who became obsessed with the team and killed multiple people. Both of those spanned throughout a season which was cool.

I honestly love your podcasts. I put them on while I paint and it's really fun to listen to and I love that I don't need to pay attention to the screen while I work. :D
PS: I get chronic migraine and while not all of them are those 2-3 day nightmare ones that knock you on your ass, even the milder ones make me unable to work or function properly. It really does impact your life in a very big way! I'm very glad Cristine's are less frequent now.
I honestly love seeing all the pallets with her product on it. It's the best nail polish ever! I really feel like it's made with love and that she truly cares about her product ❤️
Honestly, kinda same. I’m 18 but I recently realized that sleeping on one pillow while hugging another pillow is just so comfortable to me. And as a person that sometimes struggles to fall asleep, I say do whatever helps you feel the best🤗
Same. I sleep with a giant teddy bear and a small/big bunny (it used to be almost my size at 3) I have a king size bed and I just cuddle with them sometimes and then not always. But they are always there unless I have my SO over.
Me too. Although my use is also for physical confort. I sleep on my side and hate to feel the weight of my arm just hanging over my chest. So a stuffie supports my arm and also helps to separate and support my chest. A pillow would be too big so a stuffie is perfect.
1:00:55 I highly recommend "Inferno" by Dan Brown. At first it may seem as action and coincedence packed thriller, but THE ENDIG OH BOI, after that I really researched and questioned the problem of overpopulation. btw. the ending is completely different in the movie and as much as I love Tom Hanks he couldn't save it

@@breille9723 Exactly
As a result of sort of working through them (which will occasionally result in throwing up), I sort of just deal with them while continuing my daily activities, though perhaps with less vigor or energy, so I don't seem debilitated, but I am in much more pain than I might let on.
the stuffed animal thing has to do with anxiety sometimes. it's kinda like comfort shows or comfort foods. it helps them feel better
Same my school would let me have one in class to help he fell better
Yeah. I lived in dorms for about 4years with roommates and got so used to it that I need stuffed animals when I sleep so it doesn't feel too empty.
Hahaha I like your name😂
They are also just super cute!
Yeah, like I knew people who literally had actual emotional support animals in college so stuffed animals are just a toned down version of that. You don't have to take care of them or buy them things lol
Having big boobs is overrated, can confirm. Back pain, posture issues, finding shirts and bras is impossible... it sucks.

Yes, definitely a self esteem thing. It was just a weird take - just like the guy who was complaining about his big boobs.
You sound like my boyfriend, hes a smoker with all the same habits, also absolutely DETESTS littering and ppl who don't pick up their dog poo.
Looking at light when I have a migraine makes me throw up. And then the pain, pressure and throbbing from that happening is unbearable.
Dead Poets Society is a great example of a movie where no one wins but it’s the only ending that seems right.

As a smoker myself I can say that most who do it feel shame and disgust doing it, but it doesn’t deter us because yes there are addiction issues there. I personally started as an act of self harm and the idea that it would shorten my life was a positive.
Aw 🥺 I’m sorry that you felt that way and continue to experience the ramifications of it.
My boyfriend has expressed that he feels this way a few times, only when he was drinking and feeling particularly sad. I hope he stops smoking one day but I'm not sure what will get him there.

That was no excuse to miss the whole day."
Pissed me off.
You guys not petting Zyler is giving me anxiety 😂
Lmao I was looking for this comment! Thank you!
Ben does at 18:09 !!
I’m a smoker and I’ve always kept as a rule for myself to never smoke around anyone who doesn’t smoke. Like if I’m with non-smoking friends or family, I won’t smoke
I would love it if my dad could do the same !
I've never been this early! Yay! I look forward to these podcasts sooo much! Holo is life!
Vincent's scene haunts me to this day- just had to add that 😭😭😭
Omg yes 😭
Would you do a podcast interviewing people who work for holo taco?
that would be so cool!!
Second this, talking about the process on their end would be interesting
Not me having an aneurysm when Cristine said she was in a production of Anything Goes bc that was my first ever theater production
Lol Ben trying to explain Avengers to Cristine is such a mood :P
I love seeing this duo talking about literally anything! As a person with a short attention span I don't get distracted watching your podcast
My folks taught me that if you enjoy being able to shop local, you should shop local when you can. Which is not to say that you have to support every local store or that everyone can afford to.
Mine too, I have a small business on Pinterest and I get if people don’t want to or can’t buy my products. Maybe Maybelline is cheaper, my products don’t look good, you don’t agree with my company policies, whatever. People aren’t obligated to buy my things just because I’m a small business.

We need a "Simply Watches Bollywood" episode!
@@urmumzknt OMG YESSSS 😂😂😂
@@urmumzknt Yes Yes Yes !!!
@@urmumzknt LOVE THAT IDEA
me (36F) snuggling up in bed with my stuffed lion getting ready to listen to this podcast....in my defense yes i have anxiety and depression and my lion is weighted with sand and filled with lavender for aromatherapy - it helps me.
Oh man! I need one of those. I have a body pillow and a blanket. I have anxiety and autism.
From a psychology standpoint I think Christine would really enjoyed death note. Would love to hear her thoughts on it
I honestly love your podcasts.
Ok, I feel attacked. I'm a 23 years old who needs to hold a big pillow to sleep at night :c
I am 46 and do the same thing.
Same. I do it for health reasons too (if I squash my boobs at night (I sleep on my side) I wake up with so much chest pain it's unreal)
Honestly, kinda same. I’m 18 but I recently realized that sleeping on one pillow while hugging another pillow is just so comfortable to me. And as a person that sometimes struggles to fall asleep, I say do whatever helps you feel the best🤗
7:00 "say you're cat people without saying you're cat people"
I still sleep with stuffed animals, it helps with anxiety and allows me to fall asleep
When my BF is not here I do too
Same. I feel so validated rn
@@SallyOaktree yes I agree! I use them just to get the affects of cuddling too. It's just nice and comforting ☺
1:00:55 I highly recommend "Inferno" by Dan Brown. At first it may seem as action and coincedence packed thriller, but THE ENDIG OH BOI, after that I really researched and questioned the problem of overpopulation.
btw. the ending is completely different in the movie and as much as I love Tom Hanks he couldn't save it
I've had the same stuffed animal for almost my whole life, and I'm 30 now. My two sisters and I have Care Bear Cousins. Penguin 🐧, Lamb 🐑 and Monkey 🐒
We have them tattooed on our right foot, too!
It's so that we are always connected even when we are states/realms apart. 💜💚💛

Ben explaining avengers to Cristine was something I didn't kno I needed :D
And when she said she was interested in the movies and Thanos, my eyes were literally 1 inch from the screen😂 In all honesty tho i don't think she'd like the action parts that much🤷♀️
I love that Ben doesn’t quite know the details of the collection. I also love that he does actually care. Also, thank you Cristine for being on the financial diet.
The "villain" winning is all Black Mirror is (most eps, anyway.) I went through a phase where I was obsessed with Black Mirror. The lingering feeling of dread at the end of each episode was strangely comforting (I was going through a really bad low in my life during that time)
About smoking indoors: I'm only 20 and I vividly remember having a smoking section and the complaints from the community once Michigan passed the law against smoking indoors. No idea how indoor smoking was allowed for so long.
Cabin in the woods is one that comes to mind! Horror movies in general do that but that’s the first one where it made sense and was very interesting!
