More like the current dictator of Melodifestivalen, Christer Bjorkman's flop 1992 song, which finished 21st. 1993 had some great songs like ''Alle Mine Tankar'', ''Moi, tout simplement'', ''Eloise'', ''Mama Corsica'', ''Ellada, chora tou fotos'', so it would have flopped in 1993. Even 1989 Icelandic nul pointer from Daniel (Gus Gus is a great band anyway) sounds like a sophisitcated synth song in comparison to ''Our Choice''

Island was in my top 5 both in 2016 and in 2017 and neither of those songs went to the final. If this year island manages to get to the final I will laugh a lot.

Lyrics are telling a story of how the world is getting more selfish & we need to be more together & caring for eachother..but cos the world is that way now..most will see this as boring or cringe. I like it tho..a good morale of a song

I am happy for you, that the US trash Gold Digger did not pass, but you had one perfect, very emotional, catchy song about love and friendship by Fókus group - that one should have been selected. Sometimes people in Iceland should not be afraid to go into more radical decision.

"Paper" was originally written in English. They wrote an Icelandic version 'cause that's the rules for the first prequalifying round. The other stuff I guess I see the point, the staging wasn't that inventive.
Ok Ari as much as I'd love to spend a night with you 😏 and your voice is good, I don't see you in the final with this horrible song, sorry, it's BAD, cheesy, cliche, outdated, boring, underwhelming, uninspired, just awful. We've heard lots of these ballads before and they go nowhere. I hope you won't cry when you don't make it to the final because you seem to be very sweet and sensitive.
