This ole gal is in my 70's, and if I could get down to New York from this Maine island I'd do it! Avi, his voice, his personality, how genuine he is , his musicians, all combine to create a show totally worth going to! I love your reactions to him, Thank You!

You know how they say "Love" makes food taste so much better, I think that is why so many of us love Avi and his music because like you said he is so relatable and we can literally feel the love he has for people and his music through his singing. He is real, he doesn't put on a show or try to be more than he is. To so many of us dealing with depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns, especially after the past few years he is a place to find comfort and peace. I've said once or twice Avi is a peace-bringer. Keep reacting to Avi he is literally my favorite singer!

Scott once wrote a lullaby for his nephew and asked Avi to sing lead on it because his voice was the smoothest and suited the song so well. It's called "Light in the Hallway." Don't know if there's a video, but you should have a listen to the song; it's beautiful. Love Avi. Great reaction!

A funny story about the filming of this video - they were able to bring everything into the upstairs loft of the barn, except for the piano. No one had realized beforehand that it wouldn't be possible to hoist the piano they planned to use up through the doors that are behind Noah Denney, the drummer. It was too large and too heavy, so they sent out some folks to track down a smaller piano and ended up with the one you see in the video (if I'm remembering correctly, as I can't find the original post from Avi about it) by renting it from a nearby church. Sometimes ya just gotta wing it...

I know what you mean - I sent my Mom his I'll Get By CD for Christmas. Everyone should hear his music at least once. His style isn't for everyone, I understand that, but eveyone should hear and appreciate his voice and his lyrics. Even my husband, who hates PTX, is going with me to Nashville to see Avi perform. That's the power of perfection...aka Avi Kaplan.

He first played this during quarantine at a virtual concert. We all were blown away by it.
Avi is a trained opera singer and that's how he can do these things and he continues to take voice lessons.
Avi's animal spirit is the dragon 🐉 you know 🙂 in an old PTX experience episode Scott was teasing him about it and he told Scott if he didn't stop they could take it outside to settle the matter.
He repeats his feeling about dragons in this interview from his record label Fantasy. Quite a fun one.

Avis tenor voice is like warm melted honey that covers every nerve ending in a person body, and then his deep whiskey soaked bass makes lightening go right through those honey coated nerve endings. and when he sings he takes his heart out and hands it to each one of his listeners with his soul begging for us to love him, he can make you smile and cry at the same time. he is a beautiful man with a beautiful soul.

This is a hard song to get through. Many thoughts went through my mind listening to this, I was relating to it to the end. It was painful. I know what he was singing about, that place our minds go when we really don't want them to, yet they always go back to a painful memory. I just would feel helpless unable to stop keep getting pulled back. I cried a lot the first time I heard this one.

Great vocals. Fantastic performance. Love the lyrics. He's got range, just like Tim Foust and Geoff Castelluchi. Tomi P. also has great range for a bass singer. However, though he hasn't sung as low yet, nobody beats the vocal range of Dimash Kudaibergen. He doesn't show his full range in his original song "Stranger", he demonstrates unbelievable range.
