- This one is a rare gem indeed it was awesome getting this bus going. This is the 2nd of hopefully many more missions of finding rare equipment. This bus is owned by a friend @chrissmith3549
Detroit Diesel 6V92 DDEC 2
Allison VR-731RH Transmission
Nice rehabilitation flexible bus.❤
I remember riding the Grumman and Flxible buses around Atlantic City they were replaced in 1995 by the Flxible Metro D transit and suburban buses
I haven't heard or seen a Metro B in quite some time with a DDEC2 6V92. Good to see this bus back up and running again.
This one is a Metro C. I have seen this older window design as late as the Metro Ds built for Santa Clara VTA in 1994 (9301 to 9350, Cummins M11/Voith).
@@ClassicTVMan1981X Ahh I see.
I remember Columbus had Cota Flxible Metro E 1995 35Ft 9505 i bought from Dealer after retirement in 2012 it had a Cummins 8.3And Allison VR731 i put LED HEADLIGHTS On it in 2016 Painted Black and Red of my high school Alma Canton McKinley Sr High School Class of 1985
It reminds me of the NJ transit Flxible Metro series like the 1983-86 Metro A 1300-1464 series and the 1981 Grumman Flxible 870 series 1000-1270 series with the same engine configuration the 1980 Grumman Flxible 870 buses were Ex NYCTA buses 600 of them were sold to NJT in 1986
It's been so long, I honestly forgot Dayton had Flxibles.
