Unrealistic. No matter how tough you are irl, there's zero chance you survive point blank shotgun shot in the HEAD!!! But it's just the game, so I can see that.

Video game enemy AI is getting better but we still haven’t got to a point when they realize the player character is an unstoppable force of death and attempt to run away from you

Yup... it's a simple rule in gun shooting that the force that pushes the bullet out of the bullet is the same kind of force that the recoil carries to your hand, shoulders, wrists or any other area the gun is touching when that gun is fired. It's why Im terrified of sniper rifle. My popsicle stick body will fucking break after one fire from that thing.

A perfect weapon for my potato aim. IMO headshots with the shotgun or hunting rifle are a bit boring, leg and arm shots are much more interesting with humans screaming in agony after blowing off their arm or leg and infected crawling to you.

the audio difference between using a regular pistol and shotgun is so cool. even with pistol headshots, they’ll make noises as they’re dying. shotgun just blows them away unless you take a bad shot
I always play stealthy as much as possible but seeing these enemies getting shot up is so satisfying. I might just go back and do what you did just for fun.
I just beat this game on grounded mode. Now I can't wait to play it again with all the ammo and upgrades and just go ham on these guys.

Great video! The gore and dismemberment are just insane in this game. So far, the last of us series have the best gore effects I've ever seen. Can't wait to play the remake on PC to try out a lot of things .

A hate that you can only hold 8 shells. In the first game it made sense realistically. I mean you had a bigger ammo capacity therefore you can hold more in your pocket. Example would be the pistol. And it’s not like Ellie can’t carry more I mean she could carry 4 shells pre upgraded capacity so why not hold more? I don’t know it just feels like an oversight. Sure I get it’s to help balance the game but we already beat the game once at least let us have more fun
