I got injen cold air intake, custom single pipe 3” exhaust, MPX bored throttle body, MPX strut bar, MPX lightweight crank pulley, did a compressor delete and put an MPX A/C delete belt on and got a RoadRaceMotorsports spectrum tuner. Oh and did an air intake vacuum delete, that plastic box close to throttle bottle that floats above engine I took that off and put a rubber cap in replacement that alone change how the car sounds and how much air gets sucked in. Let me tell you my car pulls twice as hard as it did when it was stock 😂 the throttle response is unbelievable, almost instant response when push throttle even the slightest the RPM will shoot up almost instantly. Casual driving my dart is similar to my daily driving of exotic cars lambos and such I only have to push the gas pedal slightly to get up and going etc
Lol I avoided taking the WHOLE bumper off lmao, kinda found it unnecessary and a big pain, the wheel and going through the wheel well was enough of a pain but way easier than popping the whole bumper off at least on my car
You're not gonna get any air getting sucked into the intake for that location where it's placed. No vents in front of it to let air through, you'll starve the engine of airflow. You may as well cut a hole in the bumper
@@reboundrides8132 Maybe it doesn't matter for a low-hp car. But airflow is significant at high speeds and higher hp cars, air needs the most direct path into the engine. Hiding it behind a wall (bumper) is a low-pressure area and will begin to starve the engine of air.
@@Lofi.z34 this is definitely still considered a low horse power car. I have the same car and it’s snappy, but by no means is it a high horsepower vehicle. And yes I know I know how combustible engines work. I also know about power output. Not all cold air setups go directly to a port in a bumper or fender. A lot of them just use a heat shield to keep the hot air away from the intake cone. Cold air will make a difference, but with a naturally aspirated 4 banger you would probably not even notice.
I have a 2.4 dart only added a drop in k&n and even before that on a cool day can notice a big difference from a hot day. I wish I could figure out a way to make the car run like that all the time 🤔 regardless of the weather..
EHHH. Its sort of noticable but not as much as you might think, most people actually do it for more efficient fuel intake. Since putting on the cold air intake, Ive saved about 4-7MPG
@@DashOrPass are these intakes good for driving highway high speeds ? It won’t affect my engine or anything? I’ve been thinking of installing a new cold air intake in my 2.4 dart but don’t wanna ruin my engine

Would you like to eplxain more about the vacuum delete
What’s your 0 to 60
Automatic trans?
Just a question here, did you need to get a tune after the install for better more efficient and effective gains.
Sweet shit just got the 13 dart mopar going to put a cool air intake on it

I think the Injen is causing the check engine light to come on on our 2016 Dodge Dart. The previous owner installed it. How should we troubleshoot it?
did you get a mass air flow code?
What type of rims do u have bro ?
def taking my muffler off after seeing n hearing this
Is the exhaust and air intake smog legal

Not true. He will get plenty of air. Might not be as cold as it possibly could be but this location for sure won’t starve his engine of air.

@@reboundrides8132 Correct, in this case it doesn't matter. If he just wants a basic intake with almost no power gain then it's justified

Did you take out that one piece you said you would take out or is it still in there?
I just got a dart 2015 sxt I was wondering what is a good cold intake to get brand wise
For these, injen. I took the filter off and replaced it with k&n tho. Easier to maintain and trust that more.
@@upstatetyler2380 what k&n replacement filter did you use?
Where did you get the front splitter
Where’d you get the dart break calibers ?
It’s caliper covers
Does it drive any faster with that?
