    What category would you consider prioritizing training for military/first responders?
    Power 15+
    Endurance
    Absolute strength
    Power endurance
    The list goes on…
    The requirements that we are tested on are the following for the USMC.
    Spring:
    3 mile run (18:00 for best time and most points)
    20 + pull-ups
    Planks (3:45 min)
    Fall/winter
    800 m dash (In boots and utilities/cammies) (2:38 is max amount of pints)
    Max ammo can lifts (2 min)
    What we are not tested on but need the ability to do
    Hike & ruck
    Buddy carry
    Bounding over large open areas
    Moving cover to cover while in gear (~50lbs of gear)
    How would you break it down? How would you keep these individuals healthy for when they deploy?

    I believe you can and should include a variety of these training types for military (SO specifically). Would love for you to cover this in the future! Tremendous knowledge I’ve learned from you 🙏🏼

    In essence what NO ONE, talks about is that strength through ligament improvement is going to optimize your sport activities; so elongating and improving ligaments is what is going to give you better AGILITY, and strength, flexibility of movement equals speed, speed increases power. All muscle is connected to ligaments which are connected to joints. So ligaments are the actual binding element and when we increase this, it will increase every other element in sport activities

Provides great motivation and sense of achievements. And it’s really not hard but just flip the regression model. Looking forward to the release!

    Great enthusiasm. I know you are a big fan of sauna to supplement conditioning. To what extent do you think a field athlete can replace LSD, low-intensity steady state work, with EMOM’s. There is a real danger that coaches can turn their field sport teams into underperforming jogging clubs.

    I can understand why powerlifting is a gray area, or why Strongman hasn't been brought up, because within competition, it could last several hours, or like with Strongman, it can last several days and the training is not the same thing as the performance in comp because of the longer periods of rest which again makes me understand why you would say it's a gray area.

    • @kylemiller5671
      @kylemiller5671 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Freaky needs a definition really. Running a sub 11 second 100m and beating Bolts record is a difference of 1.4 seconds. Traveling at less than 10m/sec avg at that point you're an "average" person that's a living room space away from the fastest of all time. It looks bad because we conditioned ourselves watching races, but "impossible" is 5% better than a well conditioned and trained "average" person.

    • @claudemackaleny9520

    • @kylemiller5671
      @kylemiller5671 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@claudemackaleny9520 no, think about how good the average person could be with a dedicated program, rest, diet, periodization, etc. then give them an advantage that makes everything they do better. You'll never beat yourself with an advantage

    • @numbzmaheart5489
      @numbzmaheart5489 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@claudemackaleny9520 genes does affects
      No matter a normal guy trains he would never become as fast as bolt if he's genetics unables him to do so. Normal guy can bulk up and train plyos to become strong and agile but would never become like what zion is or lebron is
