I don't know how you guys do it, I feel like every episode has a great topic and some really cool discussions. 25:00 Ciaran is actually spittin facts about how good Raging bolt is for recovering against Iono, even if you bring them too two cards they have fezendipiti EX for draw Greninja draw and Professor Sada's draw three probably have a pokestop in play as well their already over what they had initially.. this deck is wild
@@perrilox5741 Yeah it’s kinda wild, my point was moreso geared to the idea that counter catcher KO fez and iono be the swing play, but even then y’all probably drawing out of it 🥴
@@ShiftGearPodcast haha yea its really tough, especially with Night stretcher existing think my friend gets what he needs every time lmao. So i might be biased about bolt. Awesome content and podcasts as always!

Playing Bolt this weekend in Baltimore. I've been wracking my brain on whether or not Flutter Mane and/or Slither Wing should go in my list instead of or with Shocks. I keep hearing from a lot of different people how each are good. I've played with all 3 in different variations of my deck and I still can't decide. Currently just have the Shocks in my deck because it can attack for that 1 energy cost, and I've felt like most of the time when I'm not attacking with Bolt it's to kill a low HP 1 prizer anyways.
I don't think Flutter Mane is worth it. Iron Thorns is already a 50-50 imo. Slither is decent, but just a little more high maintenance than Shocks. I just prefer Shocks since I normally use it to KO small Pokemon like Charmander. - Ciaran
@@lucid2740 The OGREMONS are gone?! Play Moon, it’s the easiest thing to just randomly pick up and do well with, especially if you’re nerfed by not having OGREMON available
Yeah there's no way Gardevoir's matchup spread is like what the pokehive data suggests. The only accurate matchup is favored into miraidon, since Klefki bodies them. You're also favored into drago if you play my secret tech which you'll see me win Baltimore with. Tbh Gardevoir is favored into every matchup except ancient box (which is 40-60 to 50-50 depending on the list) with my list. It's the play to Baltimore for sure. But if I didn't have my tech, then I would (theoretically) play Lugia. The deck is in a really good spot right now, since it's good into drago, ancient, moon, and probably bolt, and you're alright into zard as well. Thorns isn't popular at all, and Miraidon probably won't be terribly popular either.
@@ashleyhughes7874 Yeah it may be cope but I'm sending it. From my testing, the tech is legit, but I could be proven wrong at Baltimore. I could also always hit 3 Darkrai Dusknoir and lose instantly.
