I wondered why I had been missing Blending With Henry...! I have not been getting the BELL alerts and I'm clearly signed up!! I'm wondering how many I've missed :( This Lemony sweet Freeze Drop is such a surprise....LOVE the speckles of fresh lime and Basil..What a fantastic summer treat. I'm sending this recipe to my family out in MN & they're going to LOVE it! I haven't tried it with any sugar alternatives. Not a fan of stevia or those types of sweeteners due to the aftertaste, so I generally create my recipes with either pure maple syrup for recipes that require a smaller amount sweetener or granulated sugar for larger recipes.

Haha, it's not nearly as sweet as you might think. After the sour lemon juice and water the sugar is diluted enough to fully enjoy the powerful punch of lemon and fresh herbs flavor.

Great point! The blades would heat up and melt the sugar into the water. The Vitamix is so good at nearly everything.
