In all seriousness: Both did excellent, but it all came down to who had the louder, more polished sounds and flow. King Inertia had a little bit more flow and slightly more refined sounds, but Coldness was also great. The judges were super close.
(Edit: Coldness is such a badass when it comes to battle moves. 0:21 proves it, but he did so many battle moves in the Sounds Unreal tournament)

Yo this battle was soooo cool!! Coldness had an INSANE counter at 3:26 and imo it definitely should’ve been OT, but a great battle overall!!
for me it wasnt at all, the Quality of sounds it's not comparable, i'm not saying coldness is bad, but that inward sounds sloppy compared to inertias.
but yeah i'm agree with the ot, both had some mistakes when doing their rounds, and inertia had some issues with timing but coldness had some problems with his sounds clearness, ot was the best decission imo too.
If Coldness had a good second round he would of won

Such a crazy battle! I wasn’t surprised by the split decision but totally agree. For me it was extremely close and wouldn’t be annoyed by who won or lost... But King Inertia’s second round was just ridiculous and how he said in the 1st round “Not even gonna do it to you early...” *COLD 🥶*

That second KI round was fucking deadly af. You can tell he fell short a bit in his first round and had to put on his murdering pants for the second just to make up for the timing mistakes.

I was at the live event and this was definitely my favorite battle (dkoy vs balistix was great to). In the moment at the end of the live battle in my opinion coldness "everyone was thinking holly shit did coldness just win?" I still think he should have won but K.I. deserves it too. Super close!
