Great public service video! I ride on the volunteer bike patrol at Shark Valley in Everglades National Park and always carry a very similar rechargeable inflator. I use it frequently to pump up tires for visitors. It is always in my bike bag.

Yep! We keep a similar unit in our van, and I generally carry a CO2 inflator in my bike tool kit.

Not sure why it took us so long to travel with one of these pumps. But we’re glad we are now. It’s gonna come in handy.

I like the size and the power. Might want to check the pump gauge against a tire pressure gauge. My new tire pump for the van is ten pounds off. Happy tails and safe travels.

I’m not sure why we waited so long to get one too. You’re gonna love it. It’s really really easy to use. Simple to set up and makes you feel a lot safer having it with you. Hope you guys are well.

Great tool and a great idea to have something like that on your rides. I carry a spare tube and a patch kit with me. I also carry a small manual pump too. Back at camp is where I leave my large old skool tire pump. May just have to look into a battery type pump to replace both that I presently carry. And on another note, sitting round camp or on the trail I see soo many bikes with low tires and think to myself that it's much easier to pedal with air in your tires which makes for a more enjoyable ride!

Redundancy is a good thing. I won’t stop taking our Viair pump or the small manual one. But this takes the place of our small one on rides. Rides so much easier on inflated tires.

So do you have a Wollfe or Hitway bike?

How many tires were you able to pump

    • @VANTREKKINGlifestyle

Hey Mike. It really depends upon the size of each one of the tires. But I’m betting we could do 15 to 20 bike tires and maybe even more than that. And we should be able to do all six tires on the EKKO if they’re not completely flat when we start out.

@@VANTREKKINGlifestyle are you serious about the tires on the Ekko? Wow!!!

Haven’t proven that yet and hope we don’t have to. 😂

Now $80 with 14 more reviews. Are the batteries rechargeable and/or replaceable?

It’s a lithium battery that’s included inside the unit. It’s not replaceable, but it is rechargeable. It uses USB-C to recharge from any charging brick you have on hand.
