I find it amazing that Ron and Patsy have been willing to share this information that has been hidden for so long. Especially because the tribe has suffered so much because of these sacred places. I have had the privilege of visiting a few and the felt the deep history that is there. Thank you so much for sharing these stories.
Omigosh-.. the end of this is video is probably my favorite ever.. When she said 'what would we do for fun without treasure out there somewhere to go hunt for?' it warmed my heart. When you added, 'like going hunting- don't care if I get something, it's an excuse to get outdoors', I started smiling, thinking about a saying I use a lot.. 'Its not the destination, it's the journey☺️ But the icing on the cake for me was when you said, 'The real treasure is all neat people you get to meet and stories you get hear and share,, etc.. That fed my soul it's favorite sentiment soup, so good that it made me cry a little. I just love seeing positive interactions among kindred spirits. Take care & have fun!🤗
So nice to see interest in your channel and to see your channel growing. Way to go Terry. I love your content and how you pay attention to details. Thanks alot.❤
Actually the gold bars would help the reservations to help them have running fresh water and better homes and better everything. Times have changed dramatically and some reservations are in really bad shape. If I found treasure and I would love to help the reservations
Im really curious to know why the spanish left so much gold in the uintas. Its odd that theyd leave such large caches in such remote areas and never even try to recover them. youd think once the lousianna purchase happened spain would have sent tens or maybe hundreds or expeditions to recover it, no risk of getting caught or starting any kind of real conflict. also where can i find information on the methods used by the spanish to prospect and find these hard rock mines that are in some of the most random places.
I'm curious too. Why abandon so much Gold, a very valuable metal, with no hope of getting it? In not just 1 but many locations. I don't necessarily doubt it it just seems strange.
@@Shaggytokes420 Many of these mining groups were operating illegally and were largely unknown. If they disappeared nobody would know the difference unless there was a survivor to pass on the story. The bulk of these types of mining operations were set up to deliberately conceal their activities. It's a great idea if you want to keep more of the gold you mine, a bad idea if you can't depend on the Spanish Crown to protect you.
The gold would be mined then put into bars..Pack mules would bring back to ships in the old Mexico./ central America and shipped back to Spain. The mule trains could only carry so much..So sometimes bars were left behind with the thought of it going with next mule train..Indians Revolted, killed the small force protecting the mine and then buried the mines(gold had no value to them)..as far as Spain..other Conquests were ongoing..Kings and their administration's would die or switch and this information, would be lost in their vast libraries... There was also illegal mines..(mines hidden from the king)This is a real condense version of events .✌😎
@@yorboyroyboy9829 I disagree, spain was pretty stable at that point. There was concern about napolean but he was focused on central europe at the time. Also even if indians would have drove out the small gaurd force, once the main party learned of it, assuming it was a legit mine or cache, they would have immediately went and reclaimed it, buried or not. The spanish werent shy about brutalizing the indians so i dont think they gave up out of fear. I feel like there is a massive chunk of early colonial history missing. Theres alot that just doesnt sit right, like the whole "small pox killed everyone" or that indians were given blankets. Ive heard a few experts refute these claims as dismissive of the true complexity of the collapse of american indian culture. idk im kinda rambling now haha
That’s interesting they said any extra money the tribe has beyond what it takes to run it goes to its members. That’s a good explanation why they don’t want any gold found. They’d have to structure it differently to avoid negative consequences. But money could be spent on infrastructure or good things. I think I read part of one of the governments bills was to spend a ton of money down on a res in south eastern Utah to bring those guys power. Maybe the utes are fine, but some reservations could use some upgrades in some departments or it seems that way.
There is a templar connection to the Opp ancestry. The Pawnee tribes emerged as the skilled craftsman that produced swords, Masonic rings made from gold, silver, carved shell (fooled a lot of Europeans believing it to be ivory and unable to understand how the ivory was inlaid. These artifacts auction now for $10,000 and way higher. The Opp mine was partnered with Gold Mine Dry Goods of Missouri which had a network of Nanny King cafes & Larson & Fisher department stores. As new innovations rose such as horse racing and greyhound tracks - Nanny King (brand, code) became notorious. The stolen or (rescued children, indigent as was touted to gain $£ and support) victims were used to produce hald-bloods and suitable wives for the newly arriving barons, wealthy, upper class. The stolen African gold and artifacts were brought to the new world as the royals fought for dominance. Which came first the Pyramids of the Americas, Asia or Africa? Perhaps even Antarctica. The best is yet to come.
Dear Lodge is located between tribal territories of the at least 14th century until the gold rush: Shoshone, Crow, Sioux primarily. Dear Lodge was owned by the Opp family who also owned Opp mine and built the first Masonic lodge in that territory - dear lodge (just after the 'end' of the civil war).
@@L.D.S.HELLHOLE There was a large Yuchi territory here in what is now Northeast Tennessee on the border of Kentucky & West Virginia. That indigenous & melungeon clans & tribes were treated as animals until they could be removed from their natural territory, eliminated or indoctrinated has resulted in a generation of people who are confused. It seems many are so immature & selfish the earth is speaking loudly. Perhaps when our basic needs are a priority and the people cry out they will remember their cries are heard and the prophesy is fulfilled.
Gold: Gold smelter in Timbuktu did NOT bear marks. The Great Bullion Famine was a shortage of precious metals that struck Europe in the 15th century, with the worst years of the Famine lasting from 1457 to 1464. During the Middle Ages, gold and silver coins saw widespread use as currency in Europe, and facilitated trade with the Middle East and Asia; the shortage of these metals therefore became a problem for European economies. The main cause for the bullion famine was outflow of silver to the East unequaled by European mining output, although 15th century contemporaries believed the bullion famine to be caused by hoarding. It was a lot more than 'slaves' being hauled out of Afrika. In what would become known as America gold was used as a soft pliable metal for activities like shooting birds through a hollowed limb.
I got two story's my grandma told me about her grandad started ranching in this country late 1800 and these story's come form 1910 and 1920s and I believe there bought connected to Victorio peak. I wouldn't be messing around looking for gold or treasure anywhere even close to the res. I've been told year's ago there's still even places in the Uintahs off the res that's considered sacred and to this day still under the watchful eye's of a select group of Indians that the general native population isn't even aware of.
34:32 most of this stuff is pre flood and just after ???? When humans just redescoverd places and reused them just like Inca Aztec Mayan Olmec lol everything was connected all places that's how they moved around
If anyone ever needs a young hand, I'm all in. I'm agile, energetic, and passionate for this history. My ancestors are Mayan. We're from the Yucatan Peninsula.

The Utes and other tribes drove them out in rebellion. The spanish did try to come back a couple times but did not get much.
