I read and finished Forsaken the other day. I learned so much about Haytham; what he went through as a child, his journey to find Jenny, and to kill that dickhead Birch. Oliver Bowden made me love Assassin's Creed even more.
Noah's performance was as it should have been and I can't imagine him sounding or being anything else. Him being an Ezio knockoff would have cheapened Connor as a character. Not all assassins are the same and wouldn't be right for them to be.
i agree with you a hundred percent playing the game again i noticed some traits in him i didnt at first he was defiant like his mother and strong and even proud like his father is ver sad people dont see what character he is and just want the cliched same characters all the time instead
I love Ezio's and Edward's stories - they are full of actually dramatic and morally strong moments. However, Connor is a bit underrated character in my opinion - maybe he is not the wisest one of all of them and his story was not as fulfilled, but is quite well-written and very, very inspiring.
I agree in part. Connor was indeed wise, most probably in the later years of his life, but what makes his story unique is the complicated relationship with his father.
At the beggining, none of the Assassins were wise. Ezio for starters, was first about vendetta, Edward just about coin, Jacob Frye was about ego. Ratonhnhaké:ton (I hate calling him by his colonized name), with all the reason was angry. His people was being wiped out and enslaved, his culture, his family erased and he didn’t know what to do and he resorted to anger and his anger became arrogance, but at the end, he understood what Achilles was trying to tell him from the get go and understood he could do things differently, and he actually did it. He ended up destroying everything Shay Cormac did (as Charles Dorian told Cormac before being killed) and strengthened the brotherhood in north America. I think the hatred Ratonhnhaké:ton’s character got, is mainly because nobody could simpatize with his cause because none of them lived a similar situation, so they found him whiny and annoying. In my opinion, he is one of the best and most disciplined Assassins of the brotherhood.
This is by far my favorite assassins creed game i remember playing this and every time I watch a video back on it I get the same feeling every time I love this game it is so good and the ending was not expected at all i didn’t expect to play as Desmond and that was so suprising his death and the choice wow such a great game I highly suggest this game to anybody and I have always wanted to play a game that’s set in the 13 colonies amazing game by far my favorite assassins creed i love everything about this game
Haytham has a screwed up life.-. His dad got killed by mercenaries He became a Templar His sister was sold into sex slavery When he saved her it turns out she didn’t even being among him.-. Connor, his son killed him:( Literally screwed up
Conor, his own son killing him in my opinion a good thing for him. That ending speech before he died, there seems to be no tint of regret or ill will in it.
@@akshatchaudhari4036 the book made it seem like Killing him was Haytham’s final test for Connor, to make sure Connor was more prepared for whatever else life threw at him Plus the book also hinted that Haytham wouldn’t have actually gone through with killing Connor.
Well conors life was fucked up as well, born out of wedlock, didn't saw his father until he was in his teens, his father's men destroyed his villages, killed his mother, and chased his people out of their land
Connor impaired me to fight what's right and do what's right but people will stand in your way but don't stand down there's. Path for anyone but you just need to find it.
Achilles led the American Assassins before Connor, but he basically led a group of criminals and he himself was one of them, which is why Shay defected to the Templars and why the American brotherhood fell off until Connor came along.
The Assassin's Den Podcast (after an interview) asked the voice actors Adrian Hough (Haytham) and Noah Watts (Connor) to read and narrate the epilogue/ending of the book. And they did :)
I had always assumed that his performance was more of a naive angry child dealing with a new world. The speech he gives in the end was in the game, if I remember correctly. They cut it, which is a shame to me, because it really shows his growth.
@@lilam7851 thought the speech at the end was when someone asked the voice actors to read the epilogue to the book ac forsaken, which is where these lines are from

same here I played the second time while reading that book haytham and connor where so much alike and it made the story even more sad
MizKuno Connor actually regretted killing him after reading his journal.
yeah :< it was the saddest thing ever
Where can i get the book
Forsaken is without a doubt one of my favorites, if not my most favorite.

@@rileywolf5432 true, the conflict of beliefs between Connor and Haythem made this story really immersing

Assassins creed is more than a game it's a way off humanity history we learn off mistakes

Perseverance really runs in the family here. Difference is, it took Edward a slap in the face (his friends all dead) for him to turn back and rethink.

that fuckin transitions to Edward in Havana (or other city like Kingston well idk) really makes me...........depressed..
Great story. Edwards, Haythems, and Connors.
Therefore, the warrior countries against each other still. And I believe that things can still change and I doubt the future
Powerful words!
If Haytham heard those words, he wouldn't understand them but he would respect Connors conviction and resolve.
I read the book and it actually sounded the same as shown in this video.
Beautiful.

Is was time for new blood? Connor iniciates? Intersting see Connor training the first american assassins. He's the first mentor aye?
There was Achilles before him, but truthfully Connor deserves that title much more
Altair is the first assassin. But what do you mean

What's the name of the music playing during haytham's speech?
It's the main game theme, if you could take out the other instruments out of it, then great
where did these recordings come from?

why couldn't noah give this kind of performance in the actual game? his delivery was a bit rushed and just plain bad in the actual game.
