I been listened this video hundreds times by myself in night or during work, it’s already been a part of my life treasure, I appreciate all of it. This video brings me back into a bunch of memories. The marvelous performance and terrific skill also remind me of the first time I was in Cal (perhaps due to Spanish element is similar in there). There have some gold buried in the earth, It was the best experience I’ve ever had, I sincerely wish I could go back someday in the future. To myself
Gorgeous music, played with such clarity and feeling. What a nice surprise to catch those two Gaelic-inspired pieces in the middle. There’s a storm raging outside, my week is not going well, and Segovia’s music has been a balm. Saving this one. Thank you.
Guitar music of this quality cannot be ignored for it represents and evokes the spirit of culture, the wonderful colours of sound and atmosphere of a slower history where success can be the reward of labour and man find a resolvement of unhappiness.
All this time, I was listening to the music on this channel, but I wasn't subscribed. Fixed! 😁 This is my favorite type of performance: more intimate and clean rather than a big orchestral piece.
Assolutamente geniale.... grazie per una buona registrazione e per la condivisione di questa vera perla dell'arte. Siete il futuro delle generazioni che roescono a spravivere 💓🌹💓🌹💓🌹💕
I can't wait to get my hands around my 1937 Hauser copy. Just to emulate such a great Master guitarist and this brilliant interpreter would be really great. Thanks again.

Andrés Segovia nació en Linares (Jaén, España), estudió y aprendió en Granada, luego a Madrid, se marchó a las Américas durante casi 2 décadas y finalmente regresó a España.
What a precious gem to discover! A bijou pleasurette for the ears and gentle on the Mind too. Thanks for the upload. I'd be most interested in getting my hands on the sheet music if possible. Definitely have to look into it. My compliments to the virtuoso featured on this as well! ❤️🩹
This takes me back to an afternoon in Santanilla Del Mar in late July two years ago. A stop on the Camino. Prawns in garlic, a local white wine. Crusty brown peasant Brad and sweet butter. Sky so blue it hurt. It had the image of the not so distant sea in it. I could smell the cow pastures just beyond the courtyard. Segovia’s guitar brings it all back!

Nem kellenek szavak. Egy valódi gitárhős a szó klasszikus értelmében. Csupa harmónia és szenvedély. Ismét magam előtt látok sok dolgot, ami már rég elveszett.

To my mind this is one of the worst kinds of Double-Tasking. You will not be able to fully appreciate what the book or the music have to offer. - Do you read a book while you are walking from painting to painting in an art museum? - Do you consider Andrés Segovia's compositions and guitar arrangements to be "nice Background Music"? - Have you also given up on using proper grammar? Would it have been too much of a chore to write "On a hammock with a book."?
Thank you for watching!

Something about guitar music that immediately brings me to a quiet and peaceful space. Thanks for this beauty, Brilliant Classics.
I second that emotion, and add my thanks as well.
Especially classical guitar, it got me hooked when I was 12 years old so I took some lesson at Yamaha guitar school.

Prelude 1 is perhaps the most beautiful short prelude ever written.

I think the master would have applauded this interpreter. Thanks for another treasure!

A Brilliance every Classical Guitarist should seek to emulate.
The clarity of the notes is something else, he must have had smaller fingers than I.

Most of this pieces really sing better when palyed a little bit slower that this renditions.
