Ok Holy hell I should have known this was coming... guys the perkless trapper thing was NOT reference to the dumbass drama that recently popped up, I recorded this video nearly two weeks ago. JFC I am not on either persons side in that stupid drama. I will be removing any references to it because I honestly do not want that shit in my comments section. Just please focus on the discussion at hand not two man children slinging shit at eachother
I’m so happy you went over this but to answer your question bro it’s a high double standard when survivors win the game they love T-bagging me at the exit gates but when I respond to their mistakes I get shamed and told to go KMS it’s a massive double standard
Yeah, here's the thing. I think there are some gripes Survivor Mains have are legit. I'm a Killer Main, but I do play some Survivor, and when I do, I'm hard pressed to go two games in a row where someone isn't tunneled out before the second Gen pops. And that's legit frustrating; So frustrating that I've felt bad enough to basically stop tunneling unless there's a Survivor really, and I mean REALLY asking for it. And even then, I try to avoid that when they're on death hook. But on the counter to that, I literally had a Huntress match a couple days ago where I got screamed at in the end game chat by two differnt Survivors for two different reasons. The first because, and you can't make this up, I was "Too Reliant on my Hatchets". And the other because I M1ed them at a pallet. So if I'm to understand this right, M1 is bad, and so is my power. It's unhinged.
We are supposed to chase the survivors, injure them often, but not down them. Let them finish generators and escape (again, injure but not down) so they can get their full 4 Iridescent Emblems. Yet when that happens, we get told how bad we are, that we are trash at the game.
they gonna cry no matter what so I do not care about survivors so much I do not even look at nd game chat why should I and yes I play both sides as a survivor I put nothing in the chat and just move on
Personally the way I play the game is, "I'll chase who I chase and try to not go for anyone who just got unhooked. But once there's 2 gens left first person I see that's on death hook is out of the game." I don't like hard tunneling because it just feels idk not true to the game. Which I know people are going to respond, "uhhrmm the killer is supposed to kill so tunneling is actually VERY true to the game!" Yeah well it doesn't feel true to the game for me so there we can both be happy. However once there are 2 gens left I'm going to want to get someone out to even the odds a bit more and make for a more interesting game on both ends. When you have 2 gens left and there are 4 survivors left in the game it's fairly easy on the survivor side and very hard to deal with on the killer side. However 3 survivors are left and now it's more of an even race. A good looper can waist enough time to get rid of roughly 1 gen of progress and if you stealth well enough, while I don't like stealth I have to admit it is pretty decent at letting you get gens done, you can keep cranking out the gens. But make enough mistakes like a chase not lasting long enough or getting caught next to the gen and it's now in the killers favor and you need to be playing it extra safe.
I will never tunnel. I know how it feels and I hate it. Though when I was going for my Chucky adept, I accidentally tunneled a Steve because two of them had the same cosmetic. I would rather have not gotten my adept than get it that way.
Survivors when Weave Attunement is a 'problem': "OMG WHAT BS YOU SUCK ASS TRASH KILLER!". Survivors when they could abuse flashlights to phase into lockers for invincibility, bugged Blast Mine leaving their character model on the gen as they run around invisible, Buckle for the People combo: "............"
My favorite comment I've ever received after a match was someone saying Legion was OP. I got 10 hooks, this was the old 110 Legion, I ate 2 DS, and I never used my power. I went for 12 hooks, didn't tunnel or camp, and I got 6 Deviousness points on old Cow Shed. I said ggs, and immediately after, "Legion is so broken." I replied with the fact that I literally never used my power. They replied, "Yea but you could have, I hate this killer." I thought they were joking, but nope, they were genuinely furious at me. One of the best laughs I've ever had in my life. Unfortunately entitlement is the name of the game and it just causes this awful negative feedback loop of people just treating each other like garbage. I've been complimenting people for good chases when I stream, and enjoying my time, but then they will immediately teabag, talk shit, and just be super rude. The game is 8 years old. No one cares that you won. It's not hard. There's also a big divide amongst players cuz survivor is just more popular + the 4v1 format makes it very easy to just shit on a killer player. I've been told I'm legitimately a bad person for playing killer. It's mind boggling. Hell, I once had a game where I 12 hooked as Legion, no tunneling, no camping, was a really fun match. Until afterwards my Discord got flooded by 10 people spamming malware/porn links. Apparently the team I had beaten had paid the group in their discord to do it, cuz I won. I've seen some really heinous shit from players in this game over the most benign things and it's unreal. I don't even want to play with some of my friends anymore cuz they'll go on wild tangents constantly when they play and I just want to enjoy my time.
Hey man I'm sorry to hear about what happened in your Discord server. That's some fucking bullshit and it's honestly sad people get this worked up over a rated M Survival Horror game. As for Legion, if you ever hear anyone bitch about Legion being "OP" just know the people saying that are complete and utter dumbasses with no skill. Bitching about Legion is and always has been a massive sign of copium indigestion and skill issues (since the rework old Legion on release was actually valid to bitch about). The only way for Legion to be strong is if you're on a medium-small sized map like The Game or Dead Dawg Saloon, all 4 survivors are grouped up, and don't split apart once they hear you're terror radius coming. Even then once you've done all that and downed someone with your 5th Feral Slash, you're a powerless m1 killer until the cooldown on Feral Frenzy resets.
Yeahhhhh that sucks dude I get what you mean, as killer it doesn’t really matter how you play at least someone will get genuinely upset at you…I play both killer and survivor and it’s definitely harder as killer I’m gonna be honest, sometimes I catch my friends being those whiny survivor mains and I always try my best to remind them to just chill out and enjoy the damn game, sometimes there’s nights I don’t even want to get on because I know there might be a chance some random would complain to me in my DMs….I hope your experience playing has gotten better🙏🙏🙏
to give an explanation to the point about how much more often survivors BM than killers, this one other streamer i watch (GameBoyBen) put it best: it's not that survivors are inherently more toxic than killers or whatever, it's simply the fact that in every game, there are four survivors for every one killer, so your odds of getting an asshole survivor in a lobby are 4x greater than your odds of getting an asshole killer.
Also, because there is multiple people on survivor's side, they are more confident, especially in SWF where they got up to 3 friends to back them up. Killers have no one on their side so they are left with themselfs.
I don't think it's just that. I think it's the shape of the game. As a survivor you're basically fighting a bully, who you don't stand a chamce against unless you run. Alone you're relatively powerless against them. So it feels like "beating the odds" and overcoming an evil when you win. You beat this asshole who was trying to beat you up and hang you on a hook. So BM:ming to them feels like punching up, it feels deserved, like sticking it to the man, even though objectively they might be the bullied one with two hooks and getting saboed and flashlighted constantly.
Also, why Weave Attunement shows it's icon at the bottom, whenever it shows your aura to the killer? It's the only aura perk that tells survivors "I can see you :3" without Distortion, and they still complaining
It's weird as killer can have far worse games than survivors as it's 4v1, which I think survivors forget. I think they genuinely forget they're playing an asymmetrical game and get pissed that the killer is more powerful than them as an individual. The other thing that confuses me is I rarely get mad at a killer when I'm a survivor. Even if I get tunneled. The only time I can really think of a situation when it happened was when an asshole Hag player was going for the 4 man bleed out. Side note: my favorite card is Black Rose Dragon.
I don't play survivor much. In the few games I've played I've only had one negative killer. (Had like 70 hours in game and 95% as killer) He could tell I'm inexperienced just slug me, hook, slap on hook and camp me out. Then tunnel me til I died on hook. Dude was a straight ass clown. I'm like. Ok, and just blocked him so I never have to play against him again. I did not get salty in end game. Just GG and I was out. Some people do give Killers and survivors a bad name. It's a game, just chill out.
As a person that has recently gone on to play both sides equally, I can say without a doubt that survivors are the biggest whiniest babies 75% of the time. I have seen Killers that do that same thing, but FAR less often. I was being face camped by a bubba, which... it's fucking bubba, that's pretty much their MO at this point so I wasn't mad at all, the guy was getting screwed over and only had 2 hooks so I understand. One of my team mates went absolutely psycho on the bubba player for face camping... when there was literally nothing else at all that he could have done. I even said that it was alright, but this dumb ass just would not let it go and chose to take some type of false moral high ground over face camping and berate the bubba player for being "one of those killer mains who ruin the experience for everyone."... when I said it was fine because I understood the pain of the bubba player.
I hate when survivors use the “but killers complain too” argument. Survivors always and forever have been far worse than killer mains. And even if they inherently aren’t, this scenario is a good example of why survivors are worse: even though you, the actual recipient of camping, brushed it off and didn’t care, someone else decided to take up the fight for you. Point being there are 4 survivors who could potentially complain, thus 4x as likely to whine and moan
Oh but you don't understand, they're being offended on behalf of you. It doesn't matter what you actually think, according to the Survivor Rulebook facecamping = bad
I play both sides and the whininess and toxicity to me ON MY OWN TEAM is making wanna be a full time Killer Main. Constantly. EVERYTHING is a reason to sandbag, teabag, complain, whine, or be a dick to someone. I am so tired of it. I am so tired of people shitting on my Survivor playstyle because I don't immediately run in, body block, and loop the Killer for five gens. Why is my altruistic or stealthier playstyle so invalid you need to sandbag me? Why is my looper Cheryl a good good girl you love and praise and call so skilled when all I did was slap on Lithe+QnQ for easier looping, but my Nea who quietly got four gens done and pressured hard suddenly "skilless" because I run Iron Will and Distortion on her?
I have a very easy rule when im playing for both sides. its called "i dont care". I play the way i want and whoever wants to cry about my playstyle can throw a complaint in my overfilled complaints-box that never gets answered.
As someone who plays perkless add-onless trapper and sends themselves to eyrie when I hate myself, I do still get people that complain and want me to give them my firstborn and bow down to them.
@@PunchM3yeah, skermz was being a crybaby after he lost to quietkills perkless trapper so then he spent a full hour on his stream complaint while watching quiets pov and kept saying: “if i didn’t do this… blah blah blah”
Kaiser, I've had survivors complain when I'm practicing a challenging killer power (like billy) or trying to get huntress long shots and not Chasing anyone actively, they get given a free win on a silver platter and yet Some survivors *STILL* complained.
As a at least semi-serious part of the time Ghostface Main I am sick of this too. I am sick of people swarming me so I can't use my power. I started running Starstruck because enough was fucking enough. I do. Not want. To farm. I want to play the game. I will sometimes farm, I don't mind farming, but I'm so tired of people begging from the word go then being mad I don't want to and getting up in my grill about it so I can't even play the game and have to be a basic M1 Killer. I'm tired of being expected to be silly because I can teabag.
@@rosanna3765 Farming is basically when the killer doesn’t kill you, lets you do gens, makes like a communication to drop pallets and kick gens, injure and heal. Plus they put you on hook 2 times. Usually the killer that is notorious for farming/being friendly is Ghostface (players). Survivors tried to make me farm/threw game and bitched. I want to play normally because I get more Bloodpoints than farming matches
@@frocklewocka981 Oh, I thought so. I get that a lot when I play Pig. I did not know about the Boop the snoot thing and didn't understand what they wanted. Pig is the only Killer I fool around with. It's usually 50/50. If they want to farm, I'll go along. Now if I play Wesker, he's my mean killer. No mercy unless it was a good game til the end.
As im reading the comments, it's allowed me to see that either sides of the argument are basically the same. Both sides have their meta. Both sides will play "whataboutery" when raising a concern about perks or playstyles. Both will often only cosy up to their own perspective. Tribalism will kill this game quicker than a few quirky perks will.
You just can’t please everyone. The sooner people realize it, the happier they will be in the long run. Use what you wanna use, yall! Play how you wanna play. Play for yourself and yourself alone.
Not even gonna lie when I say I loaded into the Decimated Borgo realm as Legion a couple hours ago and had a full team swarming me and they all dced when I downed one of them, slugged them, and downed 2 other people. It’s absolutely pathetic how cocky and dumb survivors can be. I have so many games where survivors load in and try to bully me and then just give up on hook when they realize they can’t. Just adapt and play the game. If your gonna rage quit everytime something in a game doesn’t go your way, then get a different hobby cause that’s not how games work. Games aren’t built to always go your way, and people need to just deal with it.
I have a similar story from few hours ago. Im Legion and get the peakaboo card, the nearest survivor was No Mither David, I 1 tap down him. He doesnt struggle so i take him to basement On the way to shack I see Vittorio, probably with Breakout, I down him as I had Starstruck. Hook both David and Vittorio to basement, as I climb the stairs, Spies goes off. I stop to look around and see a Sable, crouching waiting for me to go, so she can drop down. I down her too because she was stupid and Starstruck. I had 3 people on hook, I leave, the last guy stars unhooking, I stop them fast as chases were short Later in chat, theyre like "who hurt you?" "Shit Legion camping and tunneling" They say that in a near Legion wr. Like I had no time to camp and tunnel xD
The big part of not liking Weave Franklin, as far as I understand, is that most people think that Franklin's itself is "boring perk". And that's the take I never understood. I see soooo many people think that Franklin's is boring or even problematic. I sae killer mains saying that Franklin's stop you from learning the game, since you don't counter strong items, but just ignores them. It's so weird for me. Why it called boring? Becuase it's easy to use? Because it prevents you from blind me on every pallet? I don't understand some perks hate sometimes
I don't even find it boring though the counter play is simple. Put item cross map away from loops and boom countered. Weaving spiders is just a wire tap for items it's fine. Survivors will just complain about anything nowadays unfortunately
@boiiiiiii5741 exactly ye. Don't get me wrong I dislike windows but do I make a big deal out of it? No cause it's an info perk same with weaving. Survivors having aura reading perks are more powerful than killer having info perks hence why object is becoming meta.
We have one Event for the time where killer gets the good end, and everyone is bitching about it. Like bruh, every other event killer doesn’t even have the time to use event features (looking at you Haunted Event), it’s so stupid Btw my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Card is Breaker the Magical Warrior!
I feel you. I'm a killer main, but I played the haunted event as survivor 90% of the time, as it was just more fun. It just felt like you got to do so much more. I've really enjoyed this event as a killer, though.
I've been a survivor main since I started playing the game back in July 2023 (I actually began playing in 2021 but it was for a short period before i stopped). I have been just like all of these survivors for some time until I began playing some killer games and it opened my eyes to what killers experience on a daily basis. I'm now playing way more killer games nowadays (still playing alot of survivor) and in my opinion survivors are the most toxic people in the game (there are toxic killers as well I'm aware of that) but there are so many freaking funny and friendly killers in the game that makes the game fun.
I had a great example of survivors going nuts the other day. I was playing knight using Brutal Strength, Enduring, Spirit Fury, and Hubris. I did not 3 gen. 2 of the gens were close at the end but the 3rd was across the map. I spent most of the game in chase. Like almost all of it. Got 9 hooks through the game. One survivor escaped with 0 hooks. Because they never went for the unhooks. Actively ignored the person just off the hook. Even when they make it oh so tempting. And they bitch and whine in the end game chat until the lobby times out. I was laughing so hard. Also apparently 3 kills is not a win for killer according to them? On the other hand part of the reason Im still playing is some normal people saying they had a good time vs the same build and playstyle.
I have been playing as killer in low rank for 2.5k hours. I started playing by focusing on skill rather than kills, then after training period, I feel bad and let every new/poor performing player go. Starting on playing goofy and silly 2 years ago, now I developed a ritual on how to be nice while not getting disrespected. I have to make it very obvious that I intentionally let them go. You cannot imagine how rude people can be even you are trying 200% to be nice. The worst experience I get is I let everyone go at their 3rd hook, and starting to afk with 3 gens left. I came back 20 minutes later and found out the gate is still closed. When I go near to check, all 4 of them immediately opened the gate just to tbag me at the gate. From that day onwards, I added "open the gate asap" to my silly ritual
I swear that Survs think Killers are like fish - that if they wiggle their ass near us we'll drop everything to chase them around God pallets for 3 minutes
1 part of the "it's always the killers fault for (______)" is that the survivors have numbers. For every 1 of us (killers). There are always 4 survivors, so in that moment, they outnumber you without a way to even the numbers. So that your single voice can be silenced by their numbers. 2nd, they expect you to play like the dum tutorial bot, so when you break the mold (aka playing any killer they don't like, perk combo's, 'playing toxic,' ect) They believe they have a right to complain. Hell I had someone call me toxic tunneler (I know so original) for waiting out base kit BT on a body blocking unhooked survivor. When it was obvious I was going for the unhooker, that was just about licking my heels when I made the hook so I knew he was going to unhook in my face. Overall survivors having the numbers feel they they can play as a Council of judges once the games over, so that you are informed of the sins you have committed against them.
4:40 this is absolutely true, during the last anniversary bored of the repetition, i decided to play perk less trapper for a little over a week and just overall not care. I couldn’t have predicted the hate that followed, tbagging at exits and pallets plus endgame ignorance and bullying for existing. I had consistently less toxic time using a basement trapper build with many just saying “that was unfortunate”. Survivors don’t know what they want.
I generally don't get the survivor mindset like I play roughly 15 or more dbd games a day (half survivor half killer give or take) and within those games, I see 6 dcs, 5 give ups and salt every single day for the stupidest reasons with my favourite one that came yesterday being "Broken killer 0 skill expression" against sadako who is a C tier killer imo (im a sadako main) and they didn't even try to remove any condemn. It just baffles me. If the survivor actually has to do something else that isn't gens or chases they always bitch and moan and give up which is an awful mindset whilst it ruins the game for killers and survivors. Idk I just don't like the survivors mind set its pathetic. Also sorry if I went a bit off topic 😅
I wish there was more to do as survivor than just gens. I started DBD as a hopeful survivor main, but ultimately found the role to be too repetitive and boring. I enjoy playing killer so much more as there are just more aspects to the role. I would play more survivor if I knew there was more to do.
@couldntthinkofanythingbett4456 I kinda think survivor has variety especially when every game or every few games is against different killers meaning a whole new counter play needs to be used. My only complaint is my team mates ngl. Team mate goes down, DC or gives up. Team mate doesn't like killer, dc give up. Its very boring.
@callumlong1521 That totally makes sense. Different killers allow for varied situations. I just wish there was more to do than just gens in every trial (ex: Onryo has condemned and Pig has head traps). I know some have thrown around ideas such as having to find different or specific parts to be able to repair gens or another objective after gens to complete to open the exit gates.
@couldntthinkofanythingbett4456 they just need to make more killers to be interactive with side objects to counter each specific killer. For example, nurse can have a 10 seconds overheat mechanic if you create a a position and chuck at her mid blink or something. Obviously nothing like that but just something that makes every killer interactive in some waym
Im someone who plays almost exclusively killer and almost exclusively huntress. And i usually get a weird mix of compliments and complants. Like for example. In the same match, one guy priased me for catching a survivors by hitting them with a hatchet and forcing them to waste the speed boost on the slowly opening exit door. And in that same chat. Another guy wined that i didnt let them go because "They already won"
I don't get the "we did all five gens so we won" argument. No you didn't. You didn't win. You still have to escape. If you fail to escape it doesn't matter how many gens you do, you failed to escape so you lost.
I kinda just learned to give up following the survivor rule book thing. I used to only not tunnel but y'know.. survivors cry about everything and now I just tunnel if I feel the need to. It's not longer I need pressure, it's if I have pressure, I'm keeping the pressure any way I can
Playing killer is absolutely miserable in end game chat and exit gates. Legitimately, I was told I was "the worst" because I played a meme plague build where I can't directly infect anyone and I can only try to M1 someone who's fully infected, and in another game I killed the last survivor who was on an exit gate I was was called sweaty because I didn't let the last one go. Like I'm sorry I want to play the game?
As a survivor, all I want is to be able to play the game. If a killer finds me with Lethal Pursuer (I loathe that perk and refuse to use it when I'm killer) at the beginning of the match and then immediately tunnel me out I'm not able to do that. But I feel you. I had to proxy camp a Dwight hooked right in front of an open gate yesterday. I don't camp otherwise ever, but in this case what are we supposed to do? If another survivor had gone for the save, (they all were injured) I would have let him go and hooked them instead, but no one did. Also, if I'm just doing a ritual and hook everyone twice and then let all the survivors get out - you can jump in and out of lockers and jump over pallets all you want. I'm not going over there so you can t--bag me at the gate.
I literally gave up on caring about anyone I play against, it’s become impossible at this point so i just play my best, get my bp, and move on, luckily im on PS5 so no EGC, i just ignore it all
Im a heavy dredge main i love the killer and i only play like 2-3 hours a day basically after work and because i just want to have a chill game 90% of the time i just use my anti-bully/No thought build. Lightborn, enduring, brutal strength, mad grit/Rancore (switches time to time); and i would get messages HATING that im using Light born and enduring/brutal strength because i just want to have some chill killer matches after work and just have fun jump scaring people out of locker's
ive noticed that a lot of survivors get triggered over the fact that people have the audacity to say "survivors whine the most" which they kinda do and thats not me being bias. thats the result you get when your game is a 4v1. so ofcourse survivors are gonna be the loudest bunch. because there's quite literally just more of them. another thing i noticed is a lot of the anger that comes from survivors are like totally misplaced or like you said, are caused from just something they messed up on their end. like for example i had a match where i "hard tunneled" this one survivor out. the person who accused me of that wasnt even the survivor that was "hard tunneled" it was the survivor who kept unhooking them and then immediately running away to go hide. never taking agro once leaving me to see only the injured and unhooked survivor for me to chase so i eventually did. the unhooker tore my ass apart in EGC for my "tunneling" and absolutely refused to acknowledge that maybe he had a big hand on why his teammate got tunneled. my point in telling that is i wonder how many instances where a survivor is ripping a killer apart in egc originated because of a mistake a survivor made. i think it happens more often than people realize
my friends have just taken to seeing our item deplete and drop then just picking it up and shoving all our items in the same corner of the map, boom two perks the killer chose countered.
Still remember the time where I played chucky, didn’t even get to play- someone DC’d during the loading screen and they got mad at me for playing chucky BUT I DIDNT EVEN GET TO PLAY CHUCKY??? How are you going to be mad at someone for playing a killer who didn’t even get to play the killer, they didn’t even see if I suck at chucky or not. Didnt see how my play style was they just DC’d for that reason. Oh and cant forget the time I had to do a challenge where I had to kill all 4 survivors in a single match and I chose clown. I didn’t give mercy to the last survivor when they were expecting it and was threatened to I can’t make this up.. they threatened to actually shit on me when I wake up the next morning. Some survivors mains are smt else
This right here is the exact reason I will always disagree with the argument that Anonymous Mode needs to go. Before the Devs released it, and then released it for everyone who wasn't a streamer, I dreaded playing this game. Everytime I hooked a Survivor, I was expecting a message from them describing all the ways I was terrible at the game. When I won a game, I waited for the messages telling me how that simple fact was proof that me and all my loved ones deserved some horrible fate because I happened to get the 4k. If I had to camp, I'd hear about it. If I ignored a body blocker, I'd hear about it. If I lost, if I got stunned, if I got looped, I would hear about it. It got to the point where I didn't even want to play with these people anymore, because even though I didn't get messaged every match, and it wasn't always messages laden with salt, the ones that were just took the wind out of my sails every time. Being able to play the game, and NOT have to worry about getting any of those messages anymore, makes it just so much more relaxing (as relaxing as DBD Killer can be, anyway) to just sit down and play the game. It's a shame that Anonymous Mode is synonymous with toxic players, because at least for me it has made the game infinitely less toxic to play. I still deal with it on Reddit, but hey the world can't be perfect.
Someone said "dude was trying so hard" in my end game chat once because I didnt give someone hatch I was running adept knight. For the achievement. I didn't even play well I had like 20h at that point
I've had multiple people come onto my steam profile and complain at me killing them too fast on the event. I run no gen slowdown, I mainly try and run jump scare builds and I still get people complaining that I kill them too quick. They told me to "Think how you manage your games as killer, Like it's normal mode not an event mode". Like they aren't trying to win in the event mode?
I main killer but play solo que sometimes ... the amount of times the team has cost us the game because of their own actions is more staggering than a bubba face camping. I had someone stand behind my hook as a bubba was face camping me in the beginning of the game. The anti-camp wasn't building up due to it and when the survivor ran for the unhook, they got insta down and slugged. Legit if they went away and worked on gens the whole anti-camping feature would have built up, but they instead wanted to screw not just themselves but me, and the whole team over. Don't even get me started on the person who was emoting in front of a Myers who was stalking.
i honestly prefer the combo (weave and franklins) over the sweaty or very boring matches i get on a daily basis its a nice alternative that isnt too strong but also not too weak and after the ptb patch. im able to use deadline and autodiactat or borrowed time and babysitter instead of meta trash
I get stuck in this loop of, ''Oh, I want to play another killer, I'm gonna switch things up and play the trapper or something!'' and then the survivors do all 5 gens in 2 minutes and then tbag me at every possible opportunity while using perks like the one that saves you when you pick up someone or dead hard while simultaneously using flashlights and spamming noise notifications and tbagging at the exit gate... and then I go back to playing overpowered killers like the blight and then I log off because it's boring to get 4Ks every match
Im gonna be real here, That perk was never a problem to me, none of them in fact. I can’t play survivor on soloQ because there is always 2 killers, the killer itself and useless survivors, now combine that with killer players only doing boring gameplay. The majority of killer players only use one build and either camp or tunnel. When you find a killer player that goes for pressure on multiple survivors the game is more fun,but you rarely get that. 80% of survivor matches is me doing gens because often the killer is chasing only one person or camping and you see the other 2 survivors crouching near the hook while the survivor dies
From my time playing both sides it honestly feels like the survivor side of the community is the most toxic i swear thats y i threw away the book because i just wasnt having fun anymore and just played my own way and now am having fun without that stupid book and i play fair
Kaiser, I just need to say I love your content. It’s nice to find someone who tries to be reasonable in regards to this shitty community and understanding towards the game itself. I don’t watch your streams out of respect for the 18+ rule, but just know that I think you may be the single most amazing Dbd creator ever
Sometimes I really wonder what version of dbd I am playing. Me it's just radio silence, it's like we all just agree to play , do stuff, die , kill , do gen ,whatever u want . And the end no one say a damm thing , I feel like am playing against extra smart bots
I play both Survivor and Killer, I have seen this too often. I try not to be like that regardless which side I am on. Entitled Survivors seem to forget that without the Killers, there is no Dead By Daylight.
I think the main reason is I believe that Weave Attunement drops the survivors item ANYWAY. You don't need franklins to do it, but people are adding it, glossing over that fact.
Alright let me be the strawman so there’s some kind of engagement from the “survivor side”. For me, it’s easy to tilt at minor things in DBD. When I’m playing surv, usually solo queue, small things start to build up the tilt meter. The tilt lasts the game and bleeds into endgame chat but disappears after. It’s simple rage, brought out by a game that either makes you feel like the most powerful person online or the most pathetic wretch. Take this past EGC and yeah, it’s stupid and petty. This community’s tribalism is exasperated by these smaller moments. It’s a gradual buildup of frustration throughout matches that doesn’t dissipate until you log off for the day. And who do you vent to in your heated moments? The opponent of course! No one is an angel when they play this game, or any PvP game for that matter. If we all got off our moral high ground and recognized that these rage-filled interactions are just heated moments after frustrating games, I think we could bridge the gap between both sides and not take these things to heart so much. Interested to hear what people have to say, and I prefer to be genuine rather than put up a “wholesome” front or a “salty” one.
This is a very good perspective to weigh in here. At the end of the day this is a game and we all need to realize fun is not guaranteed 100% of the time. It is the same for frustrating moments and that's okay.
@@corruptedstriker67 You’re dead on, high moments are just that. Moments. Frustration and venting is a natural part of the game and if there’s one thing I don’t like from our community, it’s the fact that we hold everyone to this gold standard that no average person will meet.
Me, a survivor main, who doesn't complain about perks or how people play. I think the last time I complained about perks was during the eruption/call of brine meta. Tbh, I didn't know weaving attunement shows your aura around dropped items. But, I don't think it needs a nerf or anything. I always find it to be super silly how people complain about every perk in existence. lol
as a killer to appease the survivors you have to hook every survivor one time and not defend any gens and chase one survivor for no longer than 2 minutes or it's tunneling and not run any perks besides shadowborn and you can't play any killer with an instadown or nurse or skull merchant
I don’t understand why survivors are never happy either. I am a killer main but I switch to survivor quite often when i get burnt out or have a tome or something and I’m chilling and never really find myself that angry.
Weave Attunement is actually easy to counter, actually. Here's some storytime. in the early days of DBD (think they changed it sometime in 2019) survivor items just despawned when they were empty. Poof gone. To avoid this, the survivors only used the items to a maximum of 99%. and that's exactly how I would counter the perk. As soon as the icon of the perk appears at the bottom. Only use the items for a short time or preferably(Like a toolbox) place them in the corner of the map so that the perk is no danger anymore :)
I had a streamer and his friend complain to me that I was tunnelling, that after it was done, they were on death hook and the Feng wasn't hooked once. I hooked the Adam once, and the streamer and his friend kept running up and farming the guy and each other off hook directly in front of me. The buddy of mine who got me into the game was watching and he was like, "What the fuck are they doing?" The Feng tried a bodyblock, got hit, and ran. The other guys weren't so wise. I am still trying to fathom what this was about. He then proceeded to name his next few streams, "Dead by Tunnelling." He's chill now, but it was so surreal.
It's an "us vs them" mentality where the sides are not even. This just leads to people have a one-sided view of the game. Survivor also puts you on a team, further the "us vs them" as you are put into a mini-echo chamber where you just hear what other survivor players say
I'm not gonna lie, I instantly didn't like how venca worked while I played survivor, but I know I'm like that with any new killer so I always have to give them a chance. And I found a few counters on my own. Some probably have better ways, but I still found counters and I'm cool with that
Yeah, I see your point, but you also fail to realize that other survivors get flamed for not following the so-called "survivor rule book" if things don't go a certain way. So yes, technically speaking, killers can get flamed by survivors players, but other survivors can be in the same predicament too. So while killer mains only have to worry about survivor mains, actual teammates need to worry about being flamed by the killer *AND* being blamed by fellow teammates. More pressure for survivor mains imo.
This is why I am slowly becoming more Killer-only. I am sick of being a fun or playful Surv and getting shat on by my own teammates, that shit hurts way worse than the way Survs treat Killers.
How dead by daylight has more than a single person who is a fan of both DBD itself and Yu-Gi-Oh is astonishing, and now I'm thinking of yugioh DBD concepts despite that happening only after the inevitable Scooby Doo chapter, this is your fault
over the times i've played this game, i've done both sides & i'd for surely had people bitching at me cause they lost to me as killer. specially even when it came to certain killers i played as. like for example, i like playing Skull Merchant a lot. she's become basically my main. i do play as others, but most times i might play as her. i remember 1 time on stream, i was playing as her and i killed this 1 survivor who was on PSN like i was. and i get salt from them where they basically said "people who play as Skull Merchant are bad people". but more recently, i was playing as The Unknown cause i had a daily to do of basically killing 2 survivors. but i had a tome challenge i was working on, of closing the hatch once. so overall i had to get a 3K. and i had completely wrecked the survivors with them i think only getting 1 gen done. and the Alan Wake in the match, DC'ed cause in their words. despite being paired up with the Sable. who i heard from them on that matter. that i was cringe. but in the end, i downed the Sable, left her slugged a bit while the last teammate on hook died so i could find hatch. i found it & closed it, then gave the gester to the Sable.to head on out. cause my work was done. and after the match, i messaged the Sable. and apologized, but explained why i did what i did. and they were really cool about it. now about the whole Franks + Weave combo. i can get it might be annoying for the survivor side, but like all perks. often at times, they're best when combined with something. same imho with FTP & Buckle Up. which BU shouldn't of been nerfed like it did. cause, hey. it's a risk & reward type of move for survivors to do. you can't always expect it to be pulled off. but when you can, it could be a great help to the survivors & their teammates. cause at the end of the day, we all have 4 perk slots. with lots of ideas to do. and often at times, things work best when paired together rather than be apart
I play a killer main. I only started so I have just over 100 hours. I've only had one guy who bosted he's been playing since the beginning and my Pig was the worst thing he ever played against. (He also said he played a survive with no prestige to make it look like he was a noob.) My response was Thanks for your opinion and I have only 60 hours playing so yeah, you were better. He sort of settle down after that. I guess he didn't get the reaction he wanted. Anyway, I don't even know what perks do or how they work most of the time. That's why I watch DBD videos on YT so I can learn. Most of the time I just play whatever the character perk is for them. Sometimes none at all. I try not to tunnel, if I'm chasing someone and they go for the unhook, it's not my fault they brought me back to the hook, Usually I'll hit the person who did the unhook and let them run off if I didn't down them. I don't camp. and most of the time I don't care about Gens until they are down to 2. I enjoy jumpscaring people. However, if you are going to bully me, all bets are off. If I see more than 2 flashlights, I bring Lightborn. *The only perk I will use to counter bully clickers. Most of the time I just play chill. Try to do my challenges. Give a good chase. I GG WP end chat and go on to the next one. They can be salty all they want, I'n not hearing it.
I hate franklins and weave attunement simply because it means there are more people running franklins. I like my items and I don’t wanna lose them, other than that I don’t mind the aura reading the combo gives
Totally agree. I hate that this mentality seems to affect the balancing of the game too. It's funny how not long ago survivors had a perk combination that was basically uncounterable with FTP and Buckle Up but killers get a really good perk combo, that is nowhere near the strength of FTP Buckle Up, and survivors immediately lose their minds screeching for nerfs. At least DBD survivors are more reasonable towards killers than TCM victims are towards Family players.
I have lots of salt collected under my steam profile, from survivors that were mad at me. One even wanted to summon Austrian Painter to secure my death. It is all collected since 21 December 2019.
One of my favorite builds as a Pig Main is a build I jokingly call "Perkless Pig" where I bring a total End Game build (Blood Warden, No Way Out, Remember Me, Terminus) and then the addons of Video Tape and either Crate of Gears (longer to search boxes) or Rule No 2 (players can't see box auras until their trap is active.) Usually I get a 4K before the last generator is finished, and I can't tell you how many times I've had players scream at me for a toxic End Game build.... Not a single perk got activated! Or they do manage to complete the generators, and I let the remaining survivors go (which I very often do with that build) or one gets hatch, etc.... Again, I get screamed at for running a toxic End Game build.... Would you rather I run 4 slowdown perks?
You just described the reason I made my stream about tracking survivor salt. I even made a score card. And based on that score card, last night I got 207 salt. Mind you Rage Quits are 100 salt.
Like a lot of people, it's not the fact that they complain so much as the double standard that annoys me. I play to the best of my abilities against whatever survivors throw at me, without bitching at them, but the second you do something that makes the game rough for them, that's not allowed. A lot of people just really don't want a challenge. They want to shut their brain off, sit on gens, and get out ideally without ever seeing the killer. This isn't an assumption either, there are a lot of streamers who play like that regularly. Just the other day, I had one person dead, one on hook, and two people standing staring waiting for me to leave so they can rescue. No attempt to hide the fact that nobody was on gens, no attempt to trade or even get close enough to bait a hit. And then I watch the stream replay and they say "why is he camping that's so lame"? Like come on just think for a second. And yeah, it's not everyone, in fact the majority of people just play the game and go next when they lose. It's just a vocal minority that force rules on other people. I appreciate you, solo queue player reading this who can just be a normal person and play the video game. You're not the problem.
I know the Weave/Franklins combo is going to get nerfed for the sheer fact it’s used a lot. Doesn’t have to be OP or broken. If the killers run a certain perk or build a lot it’s automatically on the devs radar to nerf. Its going to happen
As a solo queue player. Survivors are the real killers as they will give up on hook and wait for you to get chased and hooked so they could open the gates for themselves.
I have taken hits and downs trying to get a killer off tunnel. Yet I'm always correctly slugged so the killer can get that easy 3 v 1. And still to this day have people say, "present options, make yourself know, take a hit, bla bla bla". Like what world do you live on.. were the killer gives up pressure to not remove the weak link. Unless you are flash saving or sabo playing, there is no reason for the killer to go for you if a easy game is on the table. Taking hits can do a lot with a team on com's that is filled with good runners and dedicated Gen pushers. not so much for solo q.
1-1-1: 1 hooked, 1 slugged, 1 in chase is ideal during the 4v1. That's all survivors off gens and survivors off gens is the best slowdown there is! And survivors hate it Unforeseen - Dark Devotion - Furtive Chase - FTTE -- roaming heart beat is a red herring to compliment the Undetectable. It's insanely good. Works across the roster. Downright cheating with Pyramid Head. Hilariously deadly with Bubba. Satisfying with Wesker. Run your tests with it and report your findings! Bon appetit
I once had a survivor severely dress me down in end game chat because I lost while running ruin as Huntress with a few other perks to help with chase. This was back when the Ruin rework first came out, it was my first game with the rework, and this dude just, spammed chat with paragraphs on why I should just uninstall the game. Like, I couldn't even get a word in, and I stayed through the whole thing just to see how long he would go on before the chat disconnected. So yeah, survivors are miserable, and do anything in their power to make everyone miserable as well.
I remember a moment where I was testing out cenobite for the first time, this was around when Alien was released and everyone disliked the open locker see survivors and since I was just starting playing as cenobite I only had 1 perk slot so I equipped the locker alien perk and played pretty normally I think I actually got a 4k and I noticed one of them was a streamer so I went to say gg but they were saying how I was a horrible killer because I only ran one perk even though I clearly wasn't since I did get a 4k I just decided not to interact since I knew I would probably just get banned or yelled at or both idk
I try to keep endgame chat closed most of the time. Yesterday I opened it after me playing Pig and they had called me a gross tunneler. Why did I get rid of one survivor early? She gave up on first hook so already hit stage 2, I actually found her again at the immediate closest pig box trying to get her trap off, downed her but (knowing she was dead on hook), left her to get picked up. I found her a short while later because she was working on a totem behind a counter from me, crying/injured, I didn't have plaything so she had to know I had there from the terror radius, she just like...just didn't try to run away at all, I grabbed her right off the totem. Maybe she had an archive? But at that point I got her out, have some self-preservation my guy Told that to the endgame chat and the other survivor was like "yeah" and I think understood, I gave them fair chances. Just gets tiring reading/responding to accusations so usually just leave chat closed
I had a survivor complain that I "facecamped" during Endgame collapse to secure a kill. Apparently, playing for "a kill" is bad. Told me that was "no excuse to be an asshole" completely unaware that they were being an asshole. I get complaints for running Lightborn, I run lightborn because I deal with photosensitivity and it is just nicer not to deal with the fact behavior had to make the blind screen the way they did. I got a complaint because a survivor gave up against me, so I decided to take it easy on the other three and just farmed BP for the rest of the match. They literally stood there doing nothing when I down and hooked another survivor. They gave up on playing. I am sorry, if you are going to stand there at 5 gens and do nothing, I am going to take you out. It is one thing if it was late in the game and recognizing you were out played. My biggest problem is that 90%+ of these survivor who complain about killers running certain perks or playing a certain way will play Killer that way when they are playing killer.
One thing I've noticed a lot with this game's community on both sides is just how fucking entitled everyone is. Survivors especially are so guilty of this. DBD has had a history of catering to genuinely bad players or people who just suck at the game and instead of getting better at the game they constantly lose to they'd rather just bitch and moan about certain maps, perks, offerings, and everything in between until they get nerfed into oblivion by the iron fist that is BHVR Interactive. Lots of times these said certain things that get nerfed aren't even that miserable to go against had the community just taken the time to learn the way things in this game work instead of bitching 24/7 about how busted/OP a killer's perks are or the killers themselves. Never in my life have I played a game where people shame others for being good and it's just pathetic man it really is. That's all I have to say, thank you so much Kaiser for calling this shit out. I've been into DBD since beta launch and ever since late 2016 the game's community has always been like this. It only got worse once this game got bigger and it'll continue to get even worse if more people like you don't have the balls to say "enough is enough" and stop this bullshit. No, I'm not a toxic killer main because your dumbass happens to run into my crosshairs injured and I down you instead of picking up your teammate that I had just downed before you came along to go for your flashlight save. Anyways dude thanks so much for being another content creator that's not afraid to call the community out on their bullshit. Love your vids as always, take care man.
Honestly man, dbd killer is something I love and want to play. It’s just so unique with each and every different killer. But it just seems survivor get pandered to much more often. And as someone who actually enjoys skull merchant I get hate for just playing a 7/10 killer. All because I like that she allows me to play in different ways. But if I go my other main artist I’m suddenly another toxic artist main. So let me go play TSA trapper. Oh my god I’m toxic for running a meme build and trapping items. It’s just… hard man I wanna play differently but now what’s the point of trying to be nice and spread positivity if all they want to do is disconnect the second they see a drone
Most the times it is the past-match's trauma being carried forward into the next. When I play solo Surv in normal matches, there is a bleedout in 10% of matches. There is no reason to bleed someone out in 99% of instances, yet some goofballs think they need to waste 4 straight minutes of 3-5 people's time (if you stay to check out the perks/add-ons, since they aren't revealed on death in soloq for no good reason). Same thing happens for everyone. The first time Demo runs into the sweaty playstyle SWF, because the last match they were given a Blight who tunneled at 5 gens who played clown his last match and got stomped. The game encourages sweat over fun ever since they swapped to kill-based matchmaking instead of Ranks. Ranks at least encouraged balanced gameplay, but kills only throws the baby out with the bathwater.
8:35 Most of the times when a Survivor gets farmed, the farmee is then the victim. You can't reject unhooks, so that means the tunnel victim is blameless. That means there are 2 perpetrators of bad behavior, the tunneling Killer, and the farming Survivor. The Killer can easily chase the farming Survivor as come out the situation as the hero. I frequently get thanked for chasing the corner crouching useless teammate, or the hook farmer, or the person who clearly is a dead weight.
I still remember one postgame chat i had as Deathslinger. I got a 4k. This guy accused me being toxic, trash and facecamping. He legit told me "you always stay atleast 2 minutes away". I still have that screenshot. Like 2 minutes to the hook/same place?!. Yea hold on let me just noclip🥴
In order to take 2 mins to walk to a hook as slinger youd have to be over 552 meters away from the hook, which is roughly over 5 times larger than the largest map in the game....was he fucking high?
I stopped playing dbd 2 years ago because of the bias. According to survivor mains no matter how you play it's always wrong. I think it was space coconut who said "Dbd is a revolving door with new players coming in and veteran players going out". The devs clearly favor the survivor side. DS+UB+Adren+DH was op for YEARS. Ruin+Hex Undying was strong for like 3 months.
I dont go outta my way to ruin someone elses time on the game, but recently, I've been only going against top tier killers with meta builds when I usually bring 2 good perks and some niche perks I like using then I proceed to get hard tunneled out of the game. I don't know if its because of the event but getting hard tunnled at 5 or 4 gens is actually starting to have a toll on my mental health because Im getting so mad at the game and Im so addicted to dbd that something is stopping me from uninstalling it. Like I genuinely almost cried last night after getting tunneled by a blight at 4 gens remaining. I dont wanna run quad anti-tunnel perks, but like wtf am I supposed to do. I've been playing since 2017, and it feels like the only reason I play nowadays is to see new content and wish to see my dream licenses inside the game, but even when the do bring my dream licenses they always seem to ruin it for me. Recently, we got Chucky, and he's annoying as hell to go against, and he's annoying as hell to play as. Like, I really dont know what to do. I really do love dbd, but I can't let it keep taking a toll on my mental health the way it does. Too bad they've sucked me back into the game with an event that if I don't play, I'll have to buy any missing cometics I missed during said event.
I main nightmare, I have since 2017 and I used to and still sometimes run perkless nightmare with his meme brown addon and people will complain about it and get mad at how i played, onetime i was playing nightmare and i walk up to a survivor on a nearly done gen he pops a styptic tanks a hit tries to fi ish the gen while my animation is playing fails to i hit him again jolt activates he gets mad i run jolt, an ash comes running behind me injured to finish the gen while im picking the first guy up i hook the first guy the ash is for the peopled so infront of ,y face so i whack him down and go for the nea who is broken and during all that the 4th injured survivor rushes in too and also quickly gets knocked down, when went in their twitch chat they yelled at me for slugging them when THEY put me in a situation where i could knock them down in all under 45 seconds.
I think the issues is related to the there's 4 of us and one of you, since there in a group it lets the bully's feel more comfortable to bully not only is the bully's target alone he's also the "power role" allowing them to punch up making them feel nore justified. A POS is gonna be a POS but there are certain phycology things in play that make it easier for people to be a POS who might not normally be.
I once had a match were the survivors were really skilled I only got like 3-4 hooks and end screen I gave em a "ggwp you guys are really good" I got hit with " no ggwp, you suck baby killer kys " And now I have a list for people who have no sportsmanship that I'll tunnel and camp if I see em again.
The 4-1 with survivors does greatly increase the chance of having one or more asshole survivors in the room from that side than the killer. I think ive run into almost as many toxic survjvors toxic to the other survivors than the killers just cause of that. Also, Franklins Weaving is mostly obnoxious cause the counterplay is SM levels of thinking that the average survivor can't do cause they just D/C against her. So the killer gets aura reading on everyone even the distortion user lol.
im also entitled when it comes to survivors bringing their favorite maps almost every game, 4 syringes or bnps etc...but the shit ive heard as a killer main because i "tunneled/slugged/camped" (unhooked in my face, hopping on gens injured instantly after being unhooked and popping them in my face, survivors grouping up injured, survivors leading me to the hook etcetcetc" is insane. you dont need to be a god at the game, but the times those things happen SIMPLY because of survivors poor gameplay decisions leading to insulting me personally...it's far too often
People have different views on how the game should and shouldnt be played to have fun. I dont wanna defend this I just hate the whole tribalism thing. There are two main reasons why it seems like Survivor Players are doing it to a bigger percentage than Killer Players: - The asymmetrical nature of dbd shows you 4 times more Survivors than Killers - Survivors feel stronger to say something in the endgame because they have the team on their side and arent talking 1v4 (I see many killer mains I've been in discord with/ watched on twitch complain the same amount about perks or playstyles). The reason why Franklins/ Weave Attunement especially is so unliked is because its an anticarry perk combo. It goes directly against the builds that the survivors picked (if an item is included) and often counters their game plan (way they planned to have fun this match) completely.
I agree with you their both morons, their continuing the drama because it brings in views that’s it 😂
@@magical571 me either. So anyway, what you want to do is, cream the sugar with the butter before adding the powder mix
Survivor mains being happy is like politicians of any political belief being 100% honest. It just doesn’t happen.
@@The_Dragon_Tiamat Oh, that goes without saying. After that third gen pops, the gloves come off. It's the Gen 1 Tunnelers that have my ire.
Comparing apples to oranges there but I get what you're saying.
Yeah killers never have abused glitches before…

@DrIronbuddah I got one better. I got a message saying, "Do Legion mains touch their cats?"
I respect you as a human being because of you're favorite card being black rose dragon lol
@@NovaXII thanks! I even have a 1st edition Ghost Rare of it
I don't play survivor much.
Probably because there are more survivors

@@Venjamin it is kinda challenging, especially if trying to CURVE
I remember survivors bitched when I loaded in as Ghostface and didn’t want to farm. I’m tired of farming
Sorry I am new at the game. What is this farming you speak of?
You gotta run perkless from time to time and keep the fundamentals sharp
He doesnt struggle so i take him to basement
On the way to shack I see Vittorio, probably with Breakout, I down him as I had Starstruck. Hook both David and Vittorio to basement, as I climb the stairs, Spies goes off. I stop to look around and see a Sable, crouching waiting for me to go, so she can drop down. I down her too because she was stupid and Starstruck.
I had 3 people on hook, I leave, the last guy stars unhooking, I stop them fast as chases were short
Later in chat, theyre like "who hurt you?" "Shit Legion camping and tunneling"
They say that in a near Legion wr.
@@crazypuppet919 Seriously!! But of course the survivors are all allowed to use the same 6 perks with no variety cause thats just SOOOOO exciting....🙄
I don't even find it boring though the counter play is simple. Put item cross map away from loops and boom countered. Weaving spiders is just a wire tap for items it's fine. Survivors will just complain about anything nowadays unfortunately
I just think it's annoying, I'm not gonna whine about it if I face it but I'm never gonna run it on killer personally
@@HT_Tony ye that's fairs. I personally don't think the combo is that great imo.
Like bruh, every other event killer doesn’t even have the time to use event features (looking at you Haunted Event), it’s so stupid
Btw my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Card is Breaker the Magical Warrior!
I feel you. I'm a killer main, but I played the haunted event as survivor 90% of the time, as it was just more fun. It just felt like you got to do so much more. I've really enjoyed this event as a killer, though.
Did someone say breaker the magical warrior?

@@vhill3715DRAW! MONSTER CARDO!!
I played against a weaving killer I just picked my item back up 😂
That's asking for too much, lol
Just put the item in a corner, damn. It's not even hard to counter.
I love it when I enjoy a perk and everyone complains about that perk. :)
Goomba image but with DbD
@@Lakthul Honestly, just forget them. Don’t worry about what survivors think, just have fun. You’ll never win against them by arguing
Lmao the video right below this is "toxic nemesis brings mori" oh no the horror!!!
ive noticed that a lot of survivors get triggered over the fact that people have the audacity to say "survivors whine the most" which they kinda do and thats not me being bias. thats the result you get when your game is a 4v1. so ofcourse survivors are gonna be the loudest bunch. because there's quite literally just more of them.
another thing i noticed is a lot of the anger that comes from survivors are like totally misplaced or like you said, are caused from just something they messed up on their end. like for example i had a match where i "hard tunneled" this one survivor out. the person who accused me of that wasnt even the survivor that was "hard tunneled" it was the survivor who kept unhooking them and then immediately running away to go hide. never taking agro once leaving me to see only the injured and unhooked survivor for me to chase so i eventually did. the unhooker tore my ass apart in EGC for my "tunneling" and absolutely refused to acknowledge that maybe he had a big hand on why his teammate got tunneled.
my point in telling that is i wonder how many instances where a survivor is ripping a killer apart in egc originated because of a mistake a survivor made. i think it happens more often than people realize
my friends have just taken to seeing our item deplete and drop then just picking it up and shoving all our items in the same corner of the map, boom two perks the killer chose countered.
Totally agree. I play in anonymous mode because I don't want anyone in my Steam profile. I'm just playing a chill game, not my fault you are salty.
Someone said "dude was trying so hard" in my end game chat once because I didnt give someone hatch
I was running adept knight.
Don't even get me started on the person who was emoting in front of a Myers who was stalking.
i honestly prefer the combo (weave and franklins) over the sweaty or very boring matches i get on a daily basis
its a nice alternative that isnt too strong but also not too weak
and after the ptb patch. im able to use deadline and autodiactat or borrowed time and babysitter instead of meta trash

Tbh, I didn't know weaving attunement shows your aura around dropped items. But, I don't think it needs a nerf or anything. I always find it to be super silly how people complain about every perk in existence. lol
That's because Killer perks legit have not been an issue since the CoBruption meta.
@@ThePhantomSafetyPin Pretty much. It was definitely painful. XD
as a killer to appease the survivors you have to hook every survivor one time and not defend any gens and chase one survivor for no longer than 2 minutes or it's tunneling and not run any perks besides shadowborn and you can't play any killer with an instadown or nurse or skull merchant
Lmao “didnt even call me good boy after” 😂
I don’t understand why survivors are never happy either.
The buddy of mine who got me into the game was watching and he was like, "What the fuck are they doing?"
The Feng tried a bodyblock, got hit, and ran. The other guys weren't so wise. I am still trying to fathom what this was about. He then proceeded to name his next few streams, "Dead by Tunnelling."
He's chill now, but it was so surreal.
Haven't played dbd in months but I still enjoy you're video also nice glasses
It's an "us vs them" mentality where the sides are not even. This just leads to people have a one-sided view of the game. Survivor also puts you on a team, further the "us vs them" as you are put into a mini-echo chamber where you just hear what other survivor players say
I'm not gonna lie, I instantly didn't like how venca worked while I played survivor, but I know I'm like that with any new killer so I always have to give them a chance. And I found a few counters on my own. Some probably have better ways, but I still found counters and I'm cool with that
It’s weird because on Xbox either I get really nice texts from survivors who enjoyed the game and then other times I get assholes who are just rude af
The best counter to weaving atunment and franklins combo is just not to use items and if you do just drop them off in the corner of the maps.
Ive been reading the comments, i feel badfor other killers, i have never experienced anything like this honestly and im a killer main
This was spot on honestly 😂
“Let us do the gens, win all chases, stun at every pallet, let us leave and bag at gate”
And survivors hate it
Unforeseen - Dark Devotion - Furtive Chase - FTTE -- roaming heart beat is a red herring to compliment the Undetectable. It's insanely good. Works across the roster. Downright cheating with Pyramid Head. Hilariously deadly with Bubba. Satisfying with Wesker. Run your tests with it and report your findings! Bon appetit
Me when I'm playing perkless survivor:
But at that point I got her out, have some self-preservation my guy
Told that to the endgame chat and the other survivor was like "yeah" and I think understood, I gave them fair chances.
Survivors complain about 4 slowdowns and when you bring 2+ non-slow down perk they also complain xD
I once had a match were the survivors were really skilled I only got like 3-4 hooks and end screen I gave em a "ggwp you guys are really good"
I got hit with " no ggwp, you suck baby killer kys "
And now I have a list for people who have no sportsmanship that I'll tunnel and camp if I see em again.
There are two main reasons why it seems like Survivor Players are doing it to a bigger percentage than Killer Players:
- The asymmetrical nature of dbd shows you 4 times more Survivors than Killers
- Survivors feel stronger to say something in the endgame because they have the team on their side and arent talking 1v4 (I see many killer mains I've been in discord with/ watched on twitch complain the same amount about perks or playstyles).
The reason why Franklins/ Weave Attunement especially is so unliked is because its an anticarry perk combo.
It goes directly against the builds that the survivors picked (if an item is included) and often counters their game plan (way they planned to have fun this match) completely.
