It's very interesting hearing the difference in vocabulary between her English and Japanese. She definitely has polite/formal English but it ramps up 10x to pure ojousama in japanese

I always find it curious the contrast between the introverted people who hate socializing but at the same time they love to talk a lot like Meloco, it's something that I find very interesting tbh 😅
She's certainly a character haha.
And as Oliver mentioned, when she's in full Japanese mode, she really sounds like an Ojou-sama
as an introvert that talks a lot, It's true that we like to recluse ourselves a lot, but when we feel comfortable or with a person we're comfortable with, words just dumps out from our mouth. but I suppose this only applies to people that become introverted by their own will, some people really can't talk even when they want to and I'm like that sometimes.
Introverts have plenty of practice talking - in their heads, to themselves. Finding someone worth talking to other than themselves is their challenge, not assembling the words.
haha I fear I am like that, too. I am not shy and I love to talk, but I still don't like socialising haha I need A LOT of alone time. But once I start talking, I am afraid I am annoying and loud 😅
it's not like we don't want to talk to people. It's just that we don't quite understand how to interact with people. In my case I don't pick up on the mood and I'm a bit insensitive so I often offend the other party and turn them off😅

her Japanese vocabulary is so unimaginably vast, I bet she would get along extremely well with Kuzuha and it's something I reeeally hope happens, a collab between those two would be legendary, two people with incredible word sense and are extremely witty and quirky
Well, that technically already happened haha since Kuzuha was on Debi's new year Sugoroku too. But I agree that a collab just between the two of them would surely be great.

i think her kansai accent added to her polite grammar which is quite amazing since it fits really well
I hope she's able to get her English up to a level where she can fully express herself like in Japanese. I would love to see that within her time in Niji or my time watching.

Well, tbh, it's a lot of replaying spots like that endlessly until I catch what they're saying lol. His voice was wavering but that part is still alright. I've had to replay worse haha
Now combine this with the fact that Mika said Meloco was extremely beautiful and hot a 10/10 and when she first met her she was intimidated by her beauty but she said Hi anyway and meloco ended up being very wholesome

Wow I haven't seem that much of her own content but she seems to speaks so differently in japanese! Even with just the translation it's clear that her choice of words and way of speaking are very interesting. Unique for sure and kinda gave me some kind of high class but old-timey vibes? I don't know how to put it... very flowery language

Idk if its just me, but when Melco speaks English, her voice fits her model well, but switch on the Japanese and her model seems too young for her voice.

Like in EN, She sounds like mid to late 20s, but in JP, she goes up to like late 30s.
Its an intersting conundrum.
