At least in California during persimmons season I was buying several bags with persimmons quite cheap, in farmers market, they last quite long enough on kitchen counter. For some reason they are expensive in grocery stores
lol, I'm pretty new to avocado but I think Richard Campbell just offended all the hardcore avocados hobbyist in California. All joking aside his comments are probably taken out of context and relates to Florida. But the avocado community in California here parallels the mango community in Florida.

Triumph persimmon is amazing!! But for some reason nobody propagates it...
Can you please elaborate what exactly so cool about that variety? I am asking bc I want to propagate persimmons for myself and I know only 2 varieties
