If I were just a better welder, finish carpenter and designer I could do that. Gotta say, this is a beautiful job. Little wonder that suppliers made "gifts" to you, as your videos are better advertisement than they could buy. You've given me the motivation, how bout giving me the skills? My skills in carpentry and welding are in the "half fast" category.
The first and last time I built a vanity, I used those same sliders but there's too much resistance for a kid to open them. You've inspired me to try again!
awesome! they can be tricky for sure. I usually built the drawer 1" smaller than the drawer opening as the sliders are 1/2 on either side... atleast the ones I used are. But if the fit is ever to tight or loose you can always cut a slight big off the drawer with a table saw or if to much space then ad some washers behind the glides that mount to the drawer :)
Awesome! I work at Kreg Tool and really like what you've done! It's Awesome to see our jigs being used by a TH-cam personality that I've been watching for over a year!!!
I'm hooked on watching your videos not just about the helpful information you give, but on the calm, collective demeanor you present yourself. All thats missing is "happy little clouds or trees" an you would be the "Bob Ross" of making things lol, keep up the good work really enjoying this "how to" in your perspective.
Again, Thanks So Much for this! I have been beating myself up about how to do this with my camper. Then, here you are... Just in time with these great videos that are filling in the knowledge gaps i have.
Joe, the kitchen turned out fantastically. I bet your daughter cannot wait for the first trip with mum and dad. Take care and kindest regards from over the pond.
@@homesteadonomics Hello, own a 13' Scamp and wasn't going to install a sink or water. I like the fact you have a bucket to throw the grey water out after use. Interested in learning what water pump with foot lever you purchased and did you finally receive the hose? If so, I'd be interested in learning more about this. P.S. will use your ideas to build the platform for the bed as well as the kitchen in the Scamp. Will look into if there is enough room for at least one bench. Thank-you for the how to video. Very nicely done.
Thanks Robin! it definitely makes for a better appearance. However, I did skimp on the pocket hole filling... my neighbor made some similar cabinets for his rv and filled his and it looks even better... but it was more of his wife making him do it ;)
Great kitchen cabinets! This is exactly what I need for my Jayco Eagle. RV drawers are hardly ever convenient. I need drawers like your build with smooth slide out and slide in. They will be replacing drawers that just drop out if pulled out less than half way. Keep up the videos!
Thanks Diego! Glad you are liking it! BTW... NZ is my moms favorite place on earth. and not necessarily for the beautiful place it is... but for the beautiful people she met while there :)
homesteadonomics i’m glad she enjoyed her stay! I’m born Fijian, been living here for a couple of years now and i must say the camping culture here is pretty strong. Have always dreamed of owning a RV smday but it’s too expensive out here.
Thank you Steve! But trust me, you do have my skills... as I fudge and figure as much as the next guy:) But I just break down each project into small simple parts so I can wrap my head around it.
@@homesteadonomics There's a video floating around on TH-cam of a guy who cuts little holes into his wood cabinetry to help reduce unnecessary weight. I cannot find it again. But can you suggest any ideas?
We will probably take it to TX at some point.. but not at first... we will focus more on our mountains here in AZ and maybe some of our border states like UT, NM, and CO
I know I'm late to comment, but I must complement your practical ideas. Easily repairable if needed and easily changeable if the needs change! Nice work!
Ohh thank goodness I miss your build videos soooo much!!! I’ve watched your workshop tables and mitre station videos over and over! Can you build a large table/fish tank set up? Lol Ik super random but want to see some more outdoor builds for Olive!!!
I bought that Ryobi electric nailer gun and love it. Never jams and works great. I'm very impressed with it. Considering that most of my cordless tools are Milwaukee as I'm a contractor, that says a lot. I can't endorse Ryobi's other cordless tools which are likely more homeowner grade. But the nailer for interior finishing is superb for the low price.
I’m always impressed with everything you build. FYI, you inspired me to build a chicken coup and I borrowed heavily from your design. Watched your vids on that over and over and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Great video. Gives me some ideas about my current kitchen project. For anyone else thinking about doing some similar projects you can cut down on the weight by about half by utilizing 1X2s instead of 2x2s. In some cases it takes more engineering but more often than not the weight is more important.
Joe, ALL of your videos are very interesting my friend. I enjoy watching you build stuff, especially this camper! You and your family are going to have some amazing camping trips in that bad boy, I just wish I could go with y'all. 🏕⛺🏜😁. Til next time, have a Blessed week my good friends!! 👍👍 Jay.

I didn't want to mess with water tanks below my van when I did the conversion so I built the kitchen counter to accommodate two 7 gallon Reliance Aqua-Tainer Water Containers. I have a foot pump connected to the fresh water container and the faucet and then I have the sink draining into another container, and both are strapped down. They've worked just fine for years.
awesome top shelf job as always, I would look for a blackstone portable griddle or something similar. nothing wrong with coleman, but balckstone type would fit you high class build plus you could keep the oven mess out of that nice trailer. thanks for these videos, good luck.
Very nice build; I was thinking of something similar but for one or two people (just in case I have a guest over) & a bath lol But the camper would be self sufficient. Like a mini wood stove heater, solar panels, a shed where the tongue is for tools, a water filtration system saw someone use a water system for their RV where they could take water anywhere cause it would be filtered through, & etc.
