Yes, I own and wear a denim button down dress. I usually wear it with a cardigan or denim jacket, but plan to unbutton it to wear it as a duster/jacket, with black joggers and tank under it. Such a fabulous video, with very useful info Marni!!!🥰Thank you so much! PS. You look amazing.
Love the J.Jill denim dress! Thank you for the reminder of such a versatile piece. I know this is not normally a "work wear" channel but here in our small town and it works. I'm at the front desk of a law firm and I am woman with "many hats" and I like being comfortable but also appropriate, professional and approachable. The "duster" option is fantastic for transitioning to the wine bar down the block after work and super darling rodeo look! Hoping they get more petite in soon.
I never ever thought about wearing a denim dress. I don't even wear jeans for the most part. These videos you do like this and changing something up videos are so freaking inspiring. Thank you so much for posting.
I love your ❤black boots. Oh my …. I love how you look with the fancy belt and high boots. Rodeo ready for sure ! I don’t have a denim dress but if I bought one it would have to be a little longer for me ! And I would wear it with my suede western boots.
I have a denim dress very similar to yours! Deeper side slits at the bottom. Great ideas! I too really liked it with the sweater over it, & the sleeves cuffed. That’s my favourite look… plus using it as a duster! Nice!
Great video, Marnie! I loved the second “cowboy” belt with the dress. You should totally wear that to the rodeo. And I like the idea of putting on a sweater over a dress. I’m going to try that. Thanks, Marnie!
Yes I have a denim dress I love denim dresses, mine is A-line with a half zip front and roll sleeves it's not short falls below the knees, it's made by Ann Klein it's very flattering for an older woman!
I have a tencel denim dress from J Jill that I purchased 5 years ago and have never worn because it always looked to plain by itself. I love the look of the bright pink jacket and the white and blue denim jackets. Wearing with black leggings also looks smart. I’m a Texas girl also and don’t laugh---I’m 88 years old and love your channel.
I have a wonderful Eileen Fisher Tencel denim dress that I've had for a couple of years. Until your video, I had no idea how to style it to make it look good. :-( I'm hoping to wear it this spring with little tennis shoes, or as a duster with all black (one of my most favorite of your looks you showcased, or with some boots...) Thank you for doing such a great styling video for us!
Hi Marnie, You can make countless outfits out of just one dress. You are so creative. The blousey outfit I thought looked really cute before the blousey effect. The thin belt over the sweater looked pretty. I thought the white denim jacket and the darker wash denim jacket looked pretty. The boots with the wide sparkly belt looked so fun. You looked pretty in all your outfits. Thanks for taking the time to style a denim dress! xoxo, Karen
Wow I was hesitating buying a Jean dress, but as soon as I watched your video, I called the store to hold the dress and going back right now!! Thank you :)
I have 2 denim dresses that have been with my for years. 1 is a t-shirt dress with sleeves- can be rolled. The other is a-line and sleeveless and that is my fave
Love this video! I love a good denim dress. This dress is still on my wish list but I do have a long denim dress I got from Chicos last year. I think they make a great transition piece as the seasons change too. Thanks for all the ideas!
That denim dress is exactly what I’m looking for, as I hate the stiff typical denim material. These styling tips are perfect. I LOVE the pink Moto jacket. That is my next purchase 😂
Hi Marnie. Thanx for all of the great styling tips. I had just added a tencel fabric ‘denim’ dress to my wardrobe, and can’t wait to experiment with your ideas.
I've got a bunch of denim shirts and jeans. I'm getting ready to make a denim dress, but different than your main one on this video. I loved the Chico's white jacket Vvused to love Chicos when I had places to go and a good source of $. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for showing us all of these options. I hate changing clothes, so I appreciate you doing it. Yes, I live in Texas and have been to many rodeos, most recently the Houston rodeo. Great concerts!
Love, love, love this video! It was so great to see all the options for a denim dress! I’m definitely incorporating many of these ideas into my outfits! 😊
Marnie, I have been watching you for at least a year and appreciate the styles that you share, your openness and honesty. I look forward to your videos and feel like you are a friend that I enjoy spending time with. I just finished watching your short video ""Telling you the truth." I find it sad and embarrassing that someone would challenge you and felt that I wanted to let you know that you are also appreciated. Also, I love the denim dress that you wore in this video.
Great video. Still considering the J Jill dress size I do not own a denim dress. I loved it with the belt, and with the sweater over it. I was surprised how slimming that look was. Thanks again!
Actually heading to Houston for Rodeo this year & very excited. I'm going to try some of your styling ideas. I've got a denim dress that not quite as drapey as yours & I usually wear it like you had over leggings.
I loved this video! I have watched you on and off since 2016. I really like how you have evolved and I like watching your channel. I’m in my 40s and enjoy your style tips and tricks. I need to go buy a denim dress now. 😊 Thanks for your tips and tricks!
Hey thanks you reminded me I have a couple old fun western belts from my younger days when I lived in Texas. Will be pulling out of closet boxes to wear for rodeo season here in Utah 😁
Thank you so much for this video. I was just about to request it since I purchased the dress. Lots of ideas. I need the cowboy boots. Too bad all of the larger sizes are sold out.
Love the dress you styled but not the price point. However the other denim dress with side slits i love as well and the price point 😀 Great video today!
In Austin, totally love the boots! I don't have a denim dress b/c I can't find a way to wear them that I like. I'm more of a fit and flare type of girl.
I’ve never own a denim dress only shirts I may need to change that. And I guess I could just wear it open until after I have the baby. Love your taller cowboy boots.
There are some styles I shared that would work great with a baby belly-but even the one I’m showing would work over leggings and just buttoned a little bit at the top.
I had a demin dress I got from Kohls when I worked and I LOVED it. I could wear any color shoe and remember those infinity scarves? I’d put that on. BTW my son bought a Stetson hat for the Houston rodeo and ANOTHER pair of boots. (Buys clothes just like his mom 😂). Great video
Hi Marnie - such great ideas. I was looking for the exact Jean jacket you had listed but when I clicked on the link, I was a different (longer) jacket. Is there a name for it so I can look it up? Thank you.
I find these dresses hard to style, so I love this! Thanks Marnie, and you look great! I definitely prefer the more casual looks. The mic you wore was distracting though 😕 I think we could hear your heart beat there for a few seconds lol among lots loud bursts and muffled sounds throughout.
No, I am missing it!! Here's the link to #7 bit.ly/3YDKMCQ I updated the description box and I'll get the LTK app updated ASAP-and it will also be in my IG stories today!
The blousey look with the thin belt was not flattering at all. It looked better before you bloused it. Loved the dark denim jacket over the dress, liked the dress as a coat bun not belted and bloused. Loved the western look (used to have a horse). Lots of great ideas for all preferences. I'm not much of a dress wearer at all but would consider at least trying on this dress. Thanks so much
I love a denim dress! That said, I have gained too much weight and the style that I like is not available in plus sizes. This is typical, though. I love this dress on you. You can wear anything!
If you're looking for a denim dress to add to your closet, I have seven (not including the one shown) right here: liketk.it/42ep9

Great ideas! I actually really liked your option for all black base layer and open long duster look.

I'm so glad! I hope you give it a try!!
Love the denim dress with and without the changes. Love and kindness, Teresa
You look great in all black, love it with denim dress flowing open.
I like my denim dresses for car travel! Especially the non wrinkle tencel. Really great for summer parties!
My fav is the 2 denim jackets, esp the dark one…. Super cute!

I don’t have a denim dress but if I bought one it would have to be a little longer for me ! And I would wear it with my suede western boots.
I have the same dress…. Bought it after you showed it the first time…great styling ideas! Thanks
I have a denim dress very similar to yours! Deeper side slits at the bottom. Great ideas! I too really liked it with the sweater over it, & the sleeves cuffed. That’s my favourite look… plus using it as a duster! Nice!
I loved your school girl look and rodeo looks. So flattering!
Great video, Marnie! I loved the second “cowboy” belt with the dress. You should totally wear that to the rodeo. And I like the idea of putting on a sweater over a dress. I’m going to try that. Thanks, Marnie!
Yes, we forget what we have in our closets! Thank you for helping us mix and match pieces! 👍🏼

Great denim dress! Love it each way but your rodeo styling is my favorite 😘

Great video Marnie! Love the denim dress, I will be checking out Chicos.
I bought a denim dress from Talbot's last year. I have worn it once but you just gave me some great styling ideas.
I'm so glad! Go get it out of your closet!
Land's End has a camel/khaki knit blazer if anyone is looking to duplicate that look.👍🏻
Great video, Marnie! 😊
I also have a few listed in the description box!
That denim dress is exactly what I’m looking for, as I hate the stiff typical denim material. These styling tips are perfect. I LOVE the pink Moto jacket. That is my next purchase 😂
That moto jacket is going to sell out fast!

Maybe I’ll rethink it now. Thanks for sharing

I love the last 3 looks with the western boots!
Really like the pink jacket with the denim dress 💕
Also the south-western style looks👢

Love Tencel! Great for travel.

Thanks for watching!
Marnie I hate to tell you this but the sweater over the denim dress with the sleeves pulled out looks really good on you!
Marnie always looks fantastic!
I was a little worried at the beginning of that comment. 🤣
@@MsGoldgirl sorry to scare you! It looked great!
@@MsGoldgirl I tried to get the dress but all sold out in my size
I love these videos.

Your rodeo look is amazing! ❤
I had that same dress and donated it. Now I wish I would have kept it. My favorite is with the white sneakers.
The white sneakers were my 2nd favorite!
Love the dress you styled but not the price point. However the other denim dress with side slits i love as well and the price point 😀 Great video today!

In Austin, totally love the boots! I don't have a denim dress b/c I can't find a way to wear them that I like. I'm more of a fit and flare type of girl.
You can do it!
My favorite was the brown sweater over. Surprisingly cute.
I love a denim dress ❤️
I’ve never own a denim dress only shirts I may need to change that. And I guess I could just wear it open until after I have the baby. Love your taller cowboy boots.

I have an Old Navy ,cap sleeve. Just love it. Love, love your ideas. Unfortunately Chicos sizes are way too big for me🙏🌞
Favorite is the last with western boots. 😊
Great ideas! Another idea is to wear a scarf with the dress.
Love this video! ❤

Hi Marnie - such great ideas. I was looking for the exact Jean jacket you had listed but when I clicked on the link, I was a different (longer) jacket. Is there a name for it so I can look it up? Thank you.
Looking for denim dress or skirt! Really interested in color of paint on walls of your entrance area, will you share the color?
I find these dresses hard to style, so I love this! Thanks Marnie, and you look great! I definitely prefer the more casual looks. The mic you wore was distracting though 😕 I think we could hear your heart beat there for a few seconds lol among lots loud bursts and muffled sounds throughout.
❤this type of video
I was trying to find the collage to search for dress #7. Am I missing it somewhere? 😉
No, I am missing it!! Here's the link to #7 bit.ly/3YDKMCQ
I updated the description box and I'll get the LTK app updated ASAP-and it will also be in my IG stories today!
And here's the link to the collage: liketk.it/42ep9
The sound is all over the place 😣.
Where did you get the cowboy boots. They are FAB. Thanks
Rodeo???
The blousey look with the thin belt was not flattering at all. It looked better before you bloused it. Loved the dark denim jacket over the dress, liked the dress as a coat bun not belted and bloused. Loved the western look (used to have a horse). Lots of great ideas for all preferences.
