Alpha Legion are my favourite. A lot of the lore is left ambiguous and you’re able to paint and interpret them in a ton of different ways. Whether thats a teal or cyan or turquoise or aquamarine theres a lot of variety to go through. You could also paint them as spies in another legion. White Scars paint fading into teal, no problem! Same with any other legion so you could run any legion painted as alpha legion cuz they could be a mole for alpharius.
Favourite Heresy legion are the word bearers, I know everyone hates Kor Phaeron and Erebus as moustache twirling villains, and honestky F**k those two. Lorgar, however is easily the most interesting primarch in that era and who can forget Argel Tal. 40k is Dark angels for pure aesthetic.
For me, it's the Thousand Sons. I fell in love with their aesthetic and it was what initially pulled me in. The Egyptian theme was interesting and overall a cool look. Finding out that they're a legion of space magicians with guns was even better. The tragedy that is Magnus and the fall of the legion was also something I enjoyed. Intention versus outcome. The whole suffering due to the actions of a few. The price that accompanies power. Fighting fate and the consequences of losing.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Word bearers. OG Traitors and been in love with them since Dawn of War Dark Crusade. The Voice actor of Eliphas did. a great Job.
I’d have to say the Black Legion is my favourite after reading the Horus Heresy books, but with Death Guard coming at a close second since Nurgle is my favourite of the Chaos Gods. Loved the video, the lofi asmr always has the greatest effect on me!

My favourite legion would be the Iron warriors, always loved them. its nothing but brutal combat and calculated assaults with the biggest artillery components of all the legions... and i like big guns and cannot lie...
I love it when things I like come together! ASMR and Warhammer don’t seem like they should go together; but you absolutely make it work! As for my favorite Legion; I gotta go with my stinky bois, the death guard. I always loved their 30k colors more with white and green accents. There’s just something about walking tanks that keep marching forward no matter how much damage they’ve taken. I love the scythes and plague weapons. Death , decay, rot , and rebirth. Just so awesome.

Great video! My favorite legion is the Space Wolves and Leman Russ just because of the pretty great dichotomy. Made to be the executioners of the Imperium but deep down they all just want to have lots of merriment and a good time. I also enjoyed Leman Russ struggling with his role in the novels, because despite his sometimes brash attitude, he loved his brothers a lot.

I'd definitely prefer watching your videos over an alternative choice of meeting my favorite legion, the Night Lords. You send a pleasant feeling of shiver down my spine, the Night Lords send a feeling of terror instead

I’m fairly new to the hobby but the Horus Heresy box set has me intrigued since reading a few of the novels. Keep up the great work on the channel!
I don't need the rule book, but I think its great you're giving it out and my favorite chapter would have to be the Salamanders because their love for humanity is heart warming in a world so cold. Also I think you make a great point about people that don't even play warhammer complaining about the lore. They reall seem to want to destroy everything people enjoy based on their ignorance.

I will always back my beaky boys in the Raven Guard first. Second is Night Lords for being the Saturday morning cartoon villains of the franchise.

The Black Legion is just an amalgamation of traitor forces that came together after the Horus Heresy, not one of the OG legions from the Horus Heresy.
