I have two similar bonsai outside in Florida on a covered porch and they are thirsty plants. I water them 2-3 times a week sometimes when it’s hot. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
There seems to be 2 schools of thought about keeping or cutting yellow leaves. Some feel that the leaf may be still making energy for the plant so keep it as long as possible. The other, that I believe, is that it is sucking energy (& definitely detracts from the appearance) from the plant & I cut it off when I see it turning yellow. I don't know for sure which is correct but I guess I'll go with the cutting off, if only that it serves to remind me that I messed up & my plant is suffering because of it, so it must go! (I know you probably kept the leaves to show us what happens when we mess up.)
This is SO true. I always am the type who cuts yellowing leaves off immediately because they end up being all I notice 🤣 However for the video and for what my poor monstera has been through I wanted to leave it for a bit. I am glad you can relate to the yellow leaf removal 🤭🌿❤️

Thank you so much for this feedback! It was so odd to me to water a plant (bonsai) that often but I have come to enjoy it. Happy planting! 🫶🌿❤️
Thanks for the advice! 🌿🪴🌱
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching 🤗🌿

Under watering is the story of my life too 😢
It seems like the better alternative but I swear now I have so many plants without all their bottom leaves 😭 old habits die hard 🫠
I really have a hard time hearing you I don't know if it's my phone or not.
