    Tony, what about combining wprocket with perfmatters?

    • @TonyTeachesTech
      @TonyTeachesTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not familiar with wprocket, but I do use W3 Total Cache alongside of Perfmatters and it's a great combo. Just make sure you don't enable similar features in each plugin. For example, don't enable Lazy Loading in Perfmatter and wprocket.

    Hi Tony, recently I watched one of your videos where you recommended5 plugging - W3 Total cache, EWWW Image Optimise, Autoptimise, A3 Lazy Load and WP Disable. After watching this video, you recommend perfmatters. is it recommended in addition to the five

    • @TonyTeachesTech

      By disabling features with Perfmatters, your score went down??? Bizarre.

      @@TonyTeachesTech No, I choose not to just because I am not at that level, basically I do not understand what I can turn off. I suspect that Divi is way more complicated than the theme you are using.

    Hey Tony I already have.. Server level cache do i need any cache plugin like WP rocket or only perfmatters

    • @TonyTeachesTech
      @TonyTeachesTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Server level cache is great! Is your server level cache for pages only? This is fine if it is, but I want to also make sure you are aware that there's also db cache and minification cache which can be enabled with a plugin like W3 Total Cache. I personally use W3 and Perfmatters on all of my websites. Had better luck with this combo than with WP Rocket.

    Thank you for this video. Great! You have one more thumb up ;-) I use Divi and had used Fastest Cache, but it has begun to cause problems by removing MailerLite autoresponder forms. Changing to WP Rocket, the forms are displayed, but many font signs are exchanged faulty. Now I´m checking W3 Total Cache and have an issue on accordon. PerfMatters and Autoptimize are soon to be checked.
    Could you tell me, what would happen, if I´ll deactivate PerfMatters? Will all taken off scripts and datas fully set back to the status as before activating the plugin? That would be very helpful. Many thanks in advance.

    • @TonyTeachesTech
      @TonyTeachesTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, if you deactivate perfmatters, this will reset back to before the plugin was installed. There are also some options within the plugin to back up your settings and explicitly reset the plugin

    Regarding Google Analytics... The Google perf. tool may put it a a 100%, but for the user, it's better to have it hosted by Google, as well as JS stuff from their perspective CDNs, because visitors probably already have a cached version of those files on their PCs....

      I'm not familiar with another plugin that has similar capabilities to Perfmatter's script manager. You can achieve some of the disabling of features with a plugin like WP Disable as demonstrated in this video th-cam.com/video/mfIIB4vBRGA/w-d-xo.html
      Perfmatters does have a 30 day money back guarantee, so you could always try it and if you don't think it's worth it get your money back.
