    I totally agree that if it makes your life more comfortable, it is absolutely worth it. Right now, I’m traveling for work every week or every other week. I’ve found that every additional small convenience is more than worth the money. (And likewise, any slight inconvenience makes me crazy.)

    Gotta love those Briggs & Riley bags…such sweet rollers. I love your tips and will add a couple of my own. I always have some extra Ziplock bags in my suitcase, and I have a dedicated pair suitcase slippers that never leave my bag. (Like you said, if it makes you more comfortable, it’s worth it.) Also, I think I’m the only one of my colleagues who has never left a phone/device charger behind in a hotel room. In the morning, I don’t unplug the phone from the charger - I unplug the charger from the wall. And to expedite packing, I generally use only certain surfaces in the hotel room: desk, bedside table, bathroom counter.

    Finally, a Road Warriour who advises to buy a good bag! ... Those 100$ suitcases aren't a good deal when they fall apart on day 1 of a 3 day trip. I use Pelican cases, ... yes heavier, but bomb proof ... life time guarantee. No zippers to break or get broken into (travel lots in 3rd world countries, ... and TX). I also use the same technique, ... toiletries stay in the suitcase, ... I have 2 electric razors. Thanks again for the tips. Safe Travels!

      Yes for someone who travels a lot you cant go cheap on your bags. It makes a big difference. Although my bag hasnt been out of the closet much in the last year!

    What size Briggs is that? Do you always check it vs carry on?

    • @MatterhornBusinessDevelopment
      @MatterhornBusinessDevelopment  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I forget which measurements it is but it is the "medium" size. Theres definitely a bigger one which I realized was just too big to sling around on a business trip. I always check my suitcase, I never traveled light enough to get away with carry on.

    Very useful! I would like to use all those things together with my Nomad Lane Bento bag for my travels. It's just perfect!

    For business ladies travelling: a good backpack with lots of partitions inside including one for a thermos inside, a hidden pocket at the back and one at the bottom of back pack is.... a baby pack for mothers . We can put cosmetics, the laptop , jewellery, vitamins, a 30ml fragrance, wallet , cough sweets etc. I bought it off Amazon Germany as I live in EU.For the amount of stuff I put in it, it us surprisingly compact and it doubles up as a handbag. It is quilted and light.
    For the Thermos I use a Japanese special thermos that keeps hot tea for 12 hrs. It doesn't spill either, like the Starbucks one I had to throw away. I bring with me loose Sencha leaves and make a superb cup of green tea in the morning in the hotel. I am using though the hotel electric kettle for boiling water. Can't be bothered to carry one. I am also using a much smaller Samsonite, as the main suitcase and I know the clothes drill needed for the two seasons, summer &winter.in the side pocket of the bag there is always a pair of flip flops for the shower for protection. Almost all travel hacks you mention I this great very useful video I also do and know as I have been travelling on business for 20+ years now.

    Great tips! Thank you! Is that travel kettle still working, or do you have a new one by now? I've been looking for a good travel kettle and they are hard to come by. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

      Funny enough I still have that kettle. And even though I don't travel like I used to I still use it every day at home. I can't believe it's still working. Last time I looked for that exact one on Amazon I couldn't find it but it's been awhile since I checked.
