8:17 Just when he talks about the band organs(I expected this to only be about theater organs lol)... that picture there is of a Bruder organ modified by Wurlitzer in 1915, used by Harry Wright on contract of the carousel maker C.W. Parker, and abandoned in a Wisconsin barn for at least 40 years. Until discovery defunct in 2006 and bought by Glenn S. Thomas in Princeton/Belle Mead, New Jersey who paid for it's restoration too: and as this organ had Wurlitzer 166 band organ trumpet pipes put in it by Wurlitzer, Glenn decided that all of the other pipe ranks of the 166 band organ that no other organ playing Wurlitzer 165 band organ rolls ever had would be added into the organ as it's the only surviving relative to a Wurlitzer 166. Just 2 original full on Wurlitzer 166's were made and they are extinct. One burned in Michigan and the other's fate is unkown. The Wurlitzer-Modified bruder in the picture at 8:17 is still at Glenn Thomas's house and is on TH-cam on his channel, Javaan83's, and Andrew Lardieri's youtube channels(search wurlitzer 165/166 band organ to find the organ in the picture at 8:17). So interesting though to hear history of the organs and mechanical music instruments of one of the main masterminds behind it all HIMSELF. I have an absolute addiction to Wurlitzer band organs(the carousel ones yes) and it's quite dang intense and really interesting at the same time to hear historical words from one of the masterminds themselves of some of the greatest music ever produced anywhere ever! I didn't think I'd ever hear any words come out of Farny honestly... what a pleasant surprise!
