As someone who has lived with sickle cell for 42years, married with kids with a great international career, I am encouraging all warriors to hang in there. You can still live a good life. Don't think thoughts of death, pursue life. Will it be easy, hell No! I lost siblings to it. But that you know someone who died doesn't mean you will. I'm rooting for you all. As a medical doctor and Sickle Cell warrior, hands down the best Sickle Cell movie I’ve watched! Awesome job with entertainment AND education! Congratulations!!!

I was 27, and she was to clock 16 that same month of June. My sickled cell kid sister with an angelic voice. It was just about 4 hours of looking away due to her incessant crisis, and by the time I took her to the hospital, it was too late! My beloved sister, Martha, could not make it out of that very crisis. She was gone!!! I painstakingly took time to study about sickle cell carrier afterwards. Bolaji! Bolaji! Bolaji!! This movie is my story married a sickle cell warrior, we had a son 4mths later after our son birth, he passed on with crisis. 4 years of beautiful and peaceful marriage, you made me cry 😭 beautiful movie. To sickle cell warriors you deserve to be loved ❤️. I love you Bolaji.
this was such a good movie!!!! i loved how Bisola was 35 and okay with having a boyfriend. they did not do the typical "desperate to marry" because she is over 30. I LOVED THAT!!
From these comments, I'm glad I'm not the only person who has noticed how amazing @bolaji Ogunmola movies are. They always depict real life situations and I'm proud of how she always delivers her point

1:13:05. Yea, understand his anger, but it was too much. This same woman practically asked you out first, and asked you to marry her first. She deserves to be trusted better than an outbusrt like that. I know its a movie, but lessons must be learnt. Every woman is a chase for a man somewhere, even when they are married with pregnant tommy. So, it takes a good level of maturity to understand this, and trust your partner especially in this case for someone who has reassured you and actually meant it. Such a class of a movie, with tons of lessons. Love, is a beautiful thing, but it's not enough. Among others, here are key ingredients that makes love complete; 1. Understanding. 2. Commitment. 3. It’s also important to understand that he is dealing with his own insecurities after being dumped by his ex fiancée plus DIDI didn’t tell him that she was in communication with her Ex. Let’s Not even talk about the Ex showing up at her house with red roses. OMO E reach for person to vex…
For a regular guy , it might be easier to understand her point of view but given David’s condition and his past experience. It’s easy for insecurities and doubt to kick in…
That is why I said, I understand how he feels, but it takes a higher maturity to take few seconds to breath, and "choose to look beyond what is seen" and focus on trust. He could have lost a good thing going for him if not that the movie was written to make Didi love him so much that she was willing to fight for the relationship. Focusing on the bad only gets worse. It never gets better.
As a 33yrs old sickle cell warrior with 3 beautiful kids,i so much appreciate d story by letting ppl kw dat we also are ment to be treated special and not condemned sickle cell warriors like we are nobody, this was actually my story the 1st man i was supposed to marry left me and collect my money, treat me like trash just because am a sickle cell and impregnated me and tell me to abort d pregnancy dat he wasnt ready..hmmmm, i cried bitterly cos he left me alone to face my struggles with d pregnancy and never look back but d girl is 12yrs now to the glory of God i have my new husband that kw my value treat me right and we have 2 handsome boys... when ever am down with crises his always there for me, being a sickle cell does not limit u to be great and enjoy your life... family members and friends too needs to do better cos some criticize which is very bad i face it alone but i bless God today...i pray for long life and prosperity and more connections to get to d top.. Amen 🙏🙏🙏🙏
haaa dear, your story is just like my late sister's. unfortunately the first and only man took her money kept taking her money, never married her until she died 4years ago. till date I hate myself for not pushing hard for my sister to walk away from him
I'm so happy about your testimony. Wow..glory to God. 3 babies? Wow. You are so blessed sister. You are a warrior. Keep fighting dear. God is so faithful to you and will keep being faithful to you. He will show up and show off even more with your life.
my only brother is SS will be 40 yrs next year and my uncle is SS too I was worried about them and involved in different research I got to know of recent that there is a complete treatment for it to be cured, changed the S carrier. Glad you got a great lovely partner and beautiful family
My best friend is a sickle cell warrior and she found love and has two beautiful children. I remember from a very young age we would go visit her in the hospital and the pain she would be in but the Almighty God had plans for my Girl. She is so blessed now
The movie got me in tears 😭 I’m sickle cell worries since I was in baby I was battling with this thanks to my parents but they pass away left me sometimes when the crisis comes I feel like I’m going to die people always look down especially boys none one want to date me because I’m sickle cell warrior that why I don’t like going out mingle with people but I thank God for giving me lovely brothers they chow me love take care of me they don’t joke with me even when the pain came their always there for their never one day tell me I’m bonding to them they are the only reason I’m happy and never end my life and still have hope one day the right man will comes along may God continue bless my brothers for me and give me long life.this movie really give me hope to no give up one day I will meet someone and to stop hiding myself God bless you mama more wisdom take your flowers 💐 kudos guys ❤❤❤
You are indeed a warrior, my dear Janet. Please don't give up on yourself, and definitely, don't give up on God. Give your life to Jesus and let him hold you. And then, please live life to the fullest. Don't hide yourself. Someone out there loves you, and God definitely loves you more. ❤️ 🎉 🫂 🤗
I love this movie. Thank you for sharing vital information through your work. I loved the way you stopped Kunle when he was going to tell you whatever. Respect to people who stand up for us. Remember when my father in law did that for me. Someone said, “you want to allow your son marry her, do you know she’s a sickler?” My father in law and so what? What makes you think you’d live longer than her and I called to ask about her family. As a Sickler Warrior, I’d like to encourage eveyone to check and double check our genotype. Talk about your genotype, it’s important because you’ll be saving that innocent soul from all the pains. Warriors you are strong, beautiful and you deserve to be loved. Pls never think of death, live life to the fullest. God got us always. You will find the ONE. Thank you to the love of my life for loving and supporting me so much. Bolaji, you do this one🎉🎉🎉
Storyline always different from the regulars, a masterpiece You deserve a flower mam bolaji 🎉 Kudos to the all the cast and crew Please we need part 2 it ended too fast ❤❤❤
Can we all agreed that Bisola Aiyeola and Bolaji Ogunmola scenes were so natural, I love their duo...it really shows that they are best friends in real life.❤️❤️❤️
I will repeat this, Bolaji is underrated. Her movies are top notch. From script to actors to whatsoever are always on point. See how Michael embodied his role. I loved loved it. Fantastic work done.
This is just so profound and given that we experience different scarring we strive to survive through it all ❤❤❤ what an emotionallycharged movie , when you someone with their imperfections is priceless.🎉🎉🎉 Bolaji delivers great movies❤❤❤ Watchedfrom South Africa🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
What struck me most was the refreshing representation of the sickle cell warrior, played by a talented actor who defied the typical stereotype of being skinny. Instead, the character was depicted as well-built and healthy-looking, breaking harmful stigmas surrounding the condition. Thank you for this masterpiece 😊😊
True I have seen warriors who are well built and I even know a chubby warrior. Bolaji definitely did a great job with this storyline as she does with others.
This movie just reminded of my uncle that was a Sickle cell warrior 😭😭😭😭 he really fought with everything in him nd he lived till 45 years and left this world 😭😭 every year I remember how an amazing man he was but I know that he did his best I miss him alot , he left us with 4 beautiful children 2 boys and 2 girls and miraculously non of them has sickle cell ❤ thank you so much for this amazing masterpiece @Bolajide
Wow! This movie is wonderful. It excellently showed some important things about people living with sickle cell disorder: 1. During a pain crisis, the mind of a sickle cell warrior is messed up and traumatized such that they say things they may not mean to say. 2. Art is one of the potent tools for helping a sickle cell warrior escape mentally and emotionally from the agonizing and excruciating pain of a pain crisis. However, this does not mean that the pain has reduced or stopped; it only means that the mind has been distracted from concentrating on it. I rate the movie (THE BEAUTY OF BROKEN THINGS) very good. Well done to Bolaji Ogunmola and the entire crew.
Bolaji really outdid herself with this one. Michael Dapa oh my goodness, he is such a warm actor. Everyone came prepared. Weldone guys. P.S the soundtrack is just on fire.
This movie is quite a Distinctive Masterpiece. It portrays maturity is needed in loving someone. Being educated about an illness is very important. Don't be guided by being misinformed. Many people miss out on something beautiful because of a lack of knowledge. Superb and educative indeed.
Thank you for telling this story so beautifully Bolaji. This brought back memories of my sister who was a sickle cell warrior( I cried for her, not done that in a long time when the movie ended at 3am). The crisis pain is not a joke, one minute they are fine another minute they are in pain. sometimes we have to drive her slowly around till she falls asleep (she says the car movement soothes her)when there isn’t a car available my mom will back her and we will walk the streets till she falls asleep. it’s almost 30years since she passed and I still miss my best friend. They are always so intelligent she could fix anything she laid her hands on, some days we will do pretend newscasting. She wanted to be a doctor but never got the chance as she passed just before writing WAEC. She had the most beautiful heart too and was loved by everyone around. Continue to rest well my sweet sister Femi.
I had a permanent smile on my face the entire time whilst i was watching. You just have a way of making your movies seem like breeze. I mean, the storyline, the conversations, and even the banter amongst the cast seem very relatable. Nothing seemed forced. I loved watching this. I think I will be back to watch it again because "I love love." I pray for more wins for you. 🥂
If I could like this movie 1000 times I would. As a sickle cell warrior going through a tough time, this movie resonated with me. Not many people understand our struggles and pain. The fear of having a sudden crisis out of nowhere and not having the stamina to do much due to constant fatigue. Thank you for the awareness and positive light on sickle cell anemia.
I know someone that passed away from sickle cell a few years ago so I really appreciate someone shedding light on this topic . Exceptional movie and a Amazing cast . Tina Mba , Bimbo Akintola ah ah ‼️ ❤❤🇺🇲
I think is enough about people commenting of loosing their love ones to sickle cell disease . It not going to be easy for those living with sickle cell reading comments like this, it going to make them feel less of themself thinking they are also oneday going to die. Pls lets our msg be the one that can give them hope ,keep them strong amist all this pains ,lets encourage them that they can do this 😊 My hrt go out to all sickle cell warrior 🫂 be strong
Technically, we’re all going to go one day. No one knows tomorrow. My baby’s mom passed from sickle cell and now I have the honour of being a mother in her life. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ve got serious health issues too but see how things are. So in everything, I lay my trust firmly in God. May His Mercy continue to cover us. Amen
Waow. This movie is a game-changer! From heartbreak to finding 'the one,' it's a beautiful love story. But what stands out is its thoughtful portrayal of Sickle Cell Warriors. They're not defined by their illness; they're humans deserving of love. Great job, production team - the costumes nailed the theme as well
@bolajiogunmola mama 🙌🙌🙌 I swear this movie is Cinema standard 💯💯 I feel the word needs to see what you’re giving at no cost at all. This is heavenly. Your craft is rare. ❤❤

This is such a beautiful movie. I can understand David not wanting Didi to see his pain but to push her away to me, was just as bad after she was willing to be with him every step of the way. I truly believe with her love and support, he, they will make it. Very inspiring to all those experiencing this same illness. Kudos to all of you well done. 👏😇❤️👍🏽
Dear Bolaji😊😊I'm just blushing, thank you so much. After watching this movie, i was like, this isnt just a movie,t tells the struggle, pain of a sickle.sending love and light❤❤ to all struggling with sickle cell
See ehnnn, Bolaji’s acting should win an Oscar. She is the right amount of everything 😍😍. She embodies her character so well that you can swear you are in reality by just watching her acting in movies. Kudos to the cast and crew…Good job

This is 10/10. Romantic scenes with undeniable chemistry, educative, friendship goal and very relatable story❤️. This movie deserves millions of views and I’m definitely sharing for people to watch. Kudos to the team.
❤. You're blessed. my only brother is SS will be 40 yrs next year and my uncle is SS too I was worried about them and involved in different research I got to know of recent that there is a complete treatment for it to be cured, changed the S carrier.
My younger brother is a sickle cell warrior, all i could think of watching this movie is the pains he goes through. May God strengthen everyone with sickle cell anaemia.
This was a masterpiece. M. Dapa gave this role a magical interpretation. Such an amazing chemistry with Bolaji. I felt all the emotions like it was real. Bisola came with the icing! Charlse, mummy tina, val and the entire cast gave a surrel performance!!🫡❤️🥰
The intentionality with which Bolaji puts together these stories is just mind-blowing. There's no bad movie on this channel. Dear Bolaji, thank you for beautiful lessons your movies pass across. Some of us are seeing life entirely differently now. Kudos to you and your entire team🎉👏
Thank you Bolaji for this great masterpiece 🎉 I actually lost some of my cousins to the disease... may their souls continue to rest in peace. However, I know people who are still living well, healthy and fighting in hope. Point is, stay strong if you're in this condition, you're a fighter and by God's grace you will make it through ❤ Kudos to the director, scriptwriter, cast and crew. Sending love and hugs to every Sickle cell warriors 🤗❤🌹
This movie really says it all It’s better to be sure about your genotype before starting or entering anything serious with the opposite sex. This movie is an awareness for those with sickle cells anemia, don’t give up on life, eat well, take your medication judiciously, stay healthy and be positive about life, remember to always put yourself first because you need to always stay happy. We love ❤️ you all but God loves ❤you all more than we do. Cheers 🥂
I wish every sickle cell warrior strength and pray for divine healing 🙏🏾. My brother-in-law is a warrior & it always breaks my heart that i can't really do much to help but just pray, cook, and say “ sorry for your pain.😢” how can loved ones support you guys more?
As a warrior in my 30s , you did well on this movie, am just coming across it after a few months, i love it, to other sickle cell warriors you all are the real mvps

The fact that @bolanji produces movies that portrait real life daily struggles its sooo amazing..am proud to love u and know u and watch ur movies always
What did I just watch 😭😭😭😭 God! This movie deserves to be on Netflix no caps. I missed Michael so much and I couldn’t wait for this to be released and yes, it’s a real masterpiece! Congrats yall 🎉❤
I’m greatly astounded at Micheal Dappa role play…man is goooooooooooddddddddd…he loves out that cahatacter and gave it all it needed to come alive, I legit criedddddd….i’d love to see him feature in more movies, he’s greatly talented
Bolaji! Oh my gosh, I cried! This is absolutely beautiful. It brought back so many memories. He wasn’t a sickle cell patient, just someone who struggled with depression. He had been doing so well with his work, and his family was well-off. Then, one morning, he just woke up and ended things. I always knew, and still know, he’s a good guy. But the moment he broke things off, I felt it deeply. He was too good to me and I couldn’t understand why…
I found this movie on Dappa's Instagram page, well to be honest I won't deny the fact that this movie is awesome, am crying watching and typing this, I am a warrior and facing difficulties of this horrible life, being seen as a burden to people, lack of love, loneliness, having problems academically, rejections, pains and surrounded by fake people, who watched you cry all day and nights but pretending not to see , but I got a lil encouragement and inspiration from this movie, I hope and pray to make it in life to be proud of myself someday if I got the chance to live.
Can we just talk about the sismance between Didi and Sophia? Their off screen friendship must be amazing because that's the only way they could made it look real, asides the fact that they are great actors. Secondly, Michael Dappa? Bro is blessed with looks and talent. He embodied his character, smooth talking, cheesy hoit chocolate. Loved their on-screen chemistry. Great storyline by the way. Casting was great. Cinematography too, although i did see some continuity error(a jump cut) between 6:52-6:54. Overall, beautiful movie!
29:32 That’s how my friend was in love with this sickle cell warrior but he felt overwhelmed and withdrew, he broke up with my friend without no just cause, he later told her the reason he broke up with her was because he didn’t believe someone could love him that much. Sending my hugs to all SC warriors out there 🫂
I love the friendship and gist between bolaji and her friend. This is how we women are supposed to be with each other. Yet most of us hate to see others happy or progressing. Women let's make a change, love each other, push each other, lift each other and build a beautiful world together ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The last scene with DD's mum though 😂😂😂😂...DD is not at home when she was sitting right there and the mum even welcomed Kunle so well...that part got me rolling with 😂😂😂
I love love love this movie. A lot to learn. Bolaji u did it again. I just pray the entire world gets to appreciate u and your work the way I do. Kudos to the entire cast and crew u all outdid yourselves ❤
Ready to watch 😅. I just finished watching Angry Black Woman 😅. Wen ever I see Bolaji I go 😅😅. I love you BO ❤🎉. Please try n bring Bimbo Ademoye , I missed seeing you both❤🎉
This movie was incredible! The emotional depth was palpable, and I could truly feel everything the characters were going through. The chemistry between the cast was phenomenal, making their relationships so believable. From the sisterhood between Didi and Sophie, the chemistry between Michael and Didi, his sister too in fact everyone did so well. To all sickle cell warriors: you are loved, and just know that you are not alone. Thank you Bolaji for this movie ❤
I honestly think Bolaji is more than just an art lover/enthusiast at this point. She's either an artist herself or a collector. She's always sharing the beauty of art in her movies even when the storyline isn't about art/artist. Kudos to her. Let me go back to what I believe to be yet another master pieces from her 🎬 🎞 🎥
To my immediate kid bro who lost the battle to sickle cell anemia at six years old. I never stopped wondering what chidozie would have looked like now, he was such an intelligent and cute boy. Miss you Bro. In the same vein, I would love to remember Nnaemeka Amadioha, he was a friend and a sickle cell warrior . Soldier on Bro.
Can we all agree that this lady is beyond amazing and has mastered her craft so well. Take all your flowers sis, there's never a time I'm disappointed in your production. Your movies, mehn!!
I really really really enjoyed watching this! Didn’t want it to end. The chemistry was amazing, lesson clear and the soundtrack is so beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I’m just 23minutes into this film and bruhhhh! It’s giving every single thing it should give! The characters are sooooooo natural with their roles. Feels like it’s all real life stuff… mehnnnn! And the guy on dreadlocks, I’m just seeing him for the first time in a movie… he’s sooooo good! The chemistry between you all is so natural! Bolaji, thank you so much for creating this amazing piece! 🙌🙌🙌🔥

Wow so deep 😔
Thank you for watching
Thank you for watching
If he married an AA, none of the kids will be SS.
He did well for marrying right, rip to him
Wow!
This movie is wonderful.
It excellently showed some important things about people living with sickle cell disorder:
This is so good…As a husband of a warrior I say thank you ❤

God bless your kind heart ❤

May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace ❤

If I could like this movie 1000 times I would. As a sickle cell warrior going through a tough time, this movie resonated with me. Not many people understand our struggles and pain.
